Feet touching ground, finally! Finally she was able to stand still on the ground once again as Shihai drops down from the tree, if she hasn't make this happen sooner, one might mistake her to have a permanent spot on the tree or something, well we can't have that can we. As Shihai was dropping down, one of the older Ninja said something to her but her attention was elsewhere, as it often was, she does have the tendency to get distracted by something else from time to time, and despite just asked a question to them herself, she was not really looking for an answer, so she pointy ignored them for the time being.
Looking around the place, trying to get a good look at the ever changing situation of the park, which, since she was not here since the very beginning, her grasp of the situation was shifty at best, but it had looked like the situation takes a sadder turn to the worst. When she first arrived here there used to be a lot more people, gathering inside this small park and working towards some kind of goal, which from an overheard of the situation seems to be finding coins, for whatever reasons. But as of right now, she noticed that at least some of them are missing now, must have take their exit when she not looking and forfeiting the competition altogether. Such as the fate of the Ninja world, to come and go like the wind and disappearing without a hint of the sound, some might consider the mystery of the Ninja world intriguing. But, nevertheless, it had felt regretful that no one has as of yet find any of the coins, such objects could be oh so very easily found without hardly any effort and yet. Perhaps the competition aspect of all have sort of ruin the mood, but regardless of the reason, the whole situation have kind of felt incomplete to her, making her wish that someone should just find one already, even if there is no reward at the end, the very notion of completing and did something would be much better than this vague thingy we have right now, but oh well.
Turning around and narrowing her eyes, thinking that doing so would somehow further her field of vision or something, as she tries to have a good look at which participants are still here in the field, that was when she remembered that she was still standing there somewhat near the other two Ninja and her very presence might make the two other Ninja felt uncomfortable with their conversation. She nods to them and moves away, walking towards to the side of the park, not wanting to just stand there.
Walking along the edge of the park, there was a small pound of water ahead of her and inside the pond, she could see some large koi fish swimming around the place. They look somewhat colorful with their shiny scales, consisting of mostly golden, white, orange and red color. Shihai reaching around her carry on side bag as she looks to see if she was carrying anything that she could use to feed the fish, before remembering that usually the park maintenance unit does not like it when people try to feed the wild animals, even if this was the Ninja world, and that puts an end to that thoughts entirely. Sighing, she straighten up her own posture and trying to take a look at who else was here, she has noticed that there are still some Genins around the park but since they were far away, she couldn't really tell who them were, and if even she were to get a good look, it would be unlikely that she would recognizes any of them anyway.
At her Ninja academy time, Shihai was one of those shy students who doesn't really want to hang out with other students and tries to avoid eye contact as best as she could, adding to that, the fact that her family moves the kids from time to time from one location to another doesn't really help her social situation either, so it would be very likely that even if she were in the same class as any of the other Genins that she could not have remembered them even if she were to see them sometimes. Since a year closer to her own graduation, and as she gets older, she realized (from old history book, not necessarily from the recent development ,since she wasn't really keep in update of what was happening currently in the world, she was the sort of living in the myth and legend type of book worm.) that Ninjas have traditionally work in teams, whether it was for a Genin squad or the more advance specialization squads, the word team work seems to show up just about every other place. In her desire to fit in to the society, but more importantly, in her desire to reach her full potential, whether it was for doing solo mission or functioning within a team, never the one to back down from a challenge, she has try to chance herself and be more open minded and try to work with other people more, and it seems that she has make some progress on that front and her shyness have mostly went away now that she could now look at other people in the eyes and have no problem with that.
Such as to be expected from a Ninja though, having a healthy amount of fear and the fair appreciation of danger for the unknown would increase one's chance of survival, but the ability to stare at the face of danger and remains calm and not afraid is even more importantly so in just any any kind of missions, and just a few stranger face and a few social conversation should not have make her afraid any more so than facing the unknown adversaries, especially since they were from the same village as her and therefore "allies" and mostly consist of Genins too.
Having reflected on the past, she felt a sense of lost at the progress that she made and her future direction, on where she wanted to go from here on out, but this is neither the time nor the place for deep soul searching thinking, in fact, she was so glad that there was no one nearby to see her lost in thoughts in her own little world here inside this park near the fish pond.
From her location she could see that there are still some coins left about and some participation, and she can't help but think that if one were to go for it them would be able to get the coin and get the prize, but she was not sure if anyone was still motivated enough for that, but nevertheless, if one wants the squad, there's always the hokage request office that one can try.
Nodding to herself, it had look like there's not much else that she could find out from this place, and it was regretful that she never finds out who won the big prize or what the prize was, but all in all, it was an eventful day and that was all that anyone could have asked for.
