Sayuri found herself outside the Shushaya Pub at just about the time her stomach had truly started to protest being without food. Though more than likely it was the delicious smells wafting out into the street that were truly causing the grumbling and not the reverse effect of her being drawn here. She couldn’t tell exactly what foods it was she could practically taste, but they were delicious. And they were just inside that building. Regardless as happenstances go, it was fortuitous and she looked up at the large doors and walked cautiously up to them, nervous now that she had made the decision to actually enter the building. She’d been staying in, well rather near Konoha now for close to a year and rather surprisingly it occurred to her now she had never even noticed this place. No one had mentioned it to her either, not Mitsuo, or Tsuyo. . . not anyone. Strange thing it was. She knew that they were hiding and all, but strictly speaking she wasn’t hiding so why not mention that there was an actual building to get a hot meal at, rather than the. . . She would pause and shudder as the image of the ramen stand went through her mind unbidden. It had been some time since the attack and still she could see it as clearly as the day it happened.

Feeling suddenly weak she moved to the side of the doors and leaned heavily against the wall, pulling her long white hair up and piling it on top of her head so that it was off her neck. She felt hot, and very over dressed, she wasn’t of course, she was wearing her usual tall white leather boots with matching white blouse and a short black skirt. It wasn’t much in the way of heat retention with the exception of her royal blue coat which she thought must be part of the problem, as it was fitted to her and didn’t breathe much. She undid the first few buttons of her blouse which did help a small fraction, but ultimately was not the relief from the horrible heat that she was hoping for. So she let go of her hair and pulled it off hastily, being careful not to catch any of the rows of brass buttons in the lace of her blouse as she did so. With the coat off and carefully folded over her left arm where she hung her tanto in a leather belt she instantly felt better, the cool evening breeze finally able to reach her skin and not just the fabric that hugged it. She looked down at her her tanto and was alarmed as for a brief second she was brought back again to the fight at the ramen stand, because there on her tanto was blood. Except it wasn’t. It was the upturned cuffs of her coat sleeves, a beautiful blood red fabric. With a shuddering sigh she tried to calm herself and move towards the door again. Come on silly duck. They won’t bring the food out here, I don’t think. And even if they did, what would that prove? That the bandit’s won after all? Come on feet, move.

With a quick and semi-cheerful inner pep talk Sayuri moved towards the door again and this time pushed it open, stepping inside and giving a small gasp of delight. The inside was like a sparkling fairy land. Tiny lights were everywhere, on the tables, the walls, the bar; and most impressively there were tiny strings of light along the ceiling. She stood transfixed for many minutes by the lights until she heard someone off to the left of her clear their throat. “Oh! Oh, of course, uh. I’m sorry.” Most likely they weren’t trying to get her attention, but she had long ago learned to be inconspicuous, a lesson apparently she had been forgetting here in the city proper. Maybe it was time to go back to the woods for a time, staying here was making her too used to just standing wherever she pleased. And that was dangerous, because there was no telling who was standing next to you or who wished you harm. She would move awkwardly off to one of the smaller tables towards the side of the room and sit down until she could get her bearings and figure out what she was supposed to do in this magical place.

Violet hair moved a bit as a pale man sat up from his place sleeping on the ground. Hazel eyes, the blue and green offset by flecks of red, stared off into the trees silently before gentle fists came up to rub them. The wanderer hadn't found enough money to rent himself a room at an Inn, so he'd slept outside in the village, around their training area.  It appeared while the man was sleeping, someone had come and found him, placing a blanket over his form. It was warm and expertly made, as though someone had stitched a lot of care into it. The man stood silently, brushing the dirt off of himself, turning to the blanket to do the same respect to it. Once he was done, he folded the blanket neatly into a square shape and tossed it over his shoulder. He was covered in shadows from the trees, but before he pulled his mask up over the lower half of his face, one would barely be able to see a smile forming. With that, the violet haired wanderer put the square of blanket over his shoulder and picked up two swords that were shorter than normal from behind a tree and walked out of the gated are beyond the training arena.

Once he was out of the trees, there was a slight twinge of guilt. He'd slept all morning and into the evening. The setting sun was still casting light upon the area, however, encasing the wanderer in the glow of light. The man was clad in black shinobi tights, black tabi and soft step shoes. He was wearing a shinobi netted shirt and retro shinobi gi vest, even complete with cloth arm guards on his forearms. The only thing that wasn't black clothing wise was his violet mask that covered the lower half of his face, neck, and led into his shinobi vest. The male's hair was violet as well, matching his mask. Anon Brier of the Mitarashi was a strange individual by modern shinobi standards, but this didn't bother him in the slightest.  The man's hazel eyes scanned around as he left the training grounds, finding a portly, motherly figure of a woman standing outside smiling at him. Beside her was a young boy, staring up at the wanderer with awe in his eyes. She was probably the one who had helped him. He smiled to them both from behind his mask, bowing to them and handing over the blanket. After thanking them, he was on his way.

It took a few minutes, but the male eventually decided he wanted to get something to eat. His stomach was rumbling, and checking his ryo pouch, he noticed he did have a fair amount. Enough for food, at least. After wandering around town, he came across a place with a sign saying "Shushaya Pub" and shrugged, making his way inside. There were a fair amount of people in the place, it had a great atmosphere and small lights everywhere. It would be perfect for a good meal, or at least that is what his stomach was telling him. Waving to a few people who'd come in: people that had assisted him in finding work since his arrival in Konohagakure no sato, and moved his form to a small table off to the side of the place.  Anon's eyes noted the form of a white haired woman in a royal blue coat, much unlike what people normally wore in days like these but he simply brushed it off, picking up a menu and looking through it. He was going to enjoy the food, then get some dango. But what exactly would he eat before then? There were so many good choices on the menu and Anon was looking forward to not having any sand within his food at this point in his life.  Sunagakure no sato was well enough, but the sand got every where, especially when trying to eat. This meal would probably be the last he could afford for a while, unless he took on a mission or two, in which case he'd probably need to take something with a high enough payout so that he could find a proper home too. Or at least a bed in an inn. A sigh escaped his lips, before he decided to concentrate on his menu. There were many good things on the menu, including local delicacies, but Anon just could not decide on what he wanted to eat. Everything sounded so good. He wished he hand a way to decide, or someone who could help him. Setting his menu down, Anon rubbed his temples trying to think.

Sitting down at a small table she was horrified to discover that in front of her, probably made with some incredible amount of care and attention to detail was a book. Or something like a book. It was the shortest book she’d ever looked at, yet nonetheless daunting for being so, and she groaned inwardly as she stared at the black and sometimes red squiggles and lines that covered the pages. Again, of course it’s come up again. Why wouldn’t it? She was incredibly frustrated, and hungry. Probably frustrated because she was hungry. She sat there scrutinizing the lettering hoping that simply by staring at it she might be able to make sense of it, and was so lost in her activity that she didn’t notice the young man that had walked up beside her clad in simple black and white and a cheerful smile.

“Are you ready to order?”

Sayuri nearly jumped right out of her skin. She would look up at the young man with a stunned look on her face and despite his youth he was experienced in the customer service industry and quickly addressed the distressed and quizzical expression on her face. “Have you had a chance to read through the menu? No? I’ll come back then.” He was all smiles and efficiency as he drew conclusions from her perplexed expression and  helpless hand gestures. He left as soon as he was finished speaking and she watched helplessly as he went to another table and the people who sat at it pointed down at something on their table and then he smiled and left. She would just shake her head and sigh, maybe this was why no one had told her about this place, it was very confusing. She assumed that the ‘book’ she’d been trying to read was a menu, and now she was left with a bigger issue. He was coming back at an as yet determined time, when presumably she’d had the chance to actually read it. She felt herself starting to panic, she’d been foolish to come in here alone, and she began to gather her things to leave when she spied a curious looking man sitting at a table off to the side. All at once the panic that had been rising was quickly quelled in the presence of this extraordinary distraction.

Sayuri had seen a good many people since she had been staying near Konoha, but she had not seen someone like this. He was dressed nearly entirely in black, which albeit was not that unusual, Mitsuo and Tsuyo did that often enough, but what was unusual was the fact that he had a mask over half his face. Now that is interesting! Why would he be wearing a mask? And how is he supposed to eat with it on? She would giggle a bit at the thought as she picked up her menu and coat and walked over to the masked man who seemed to be either frustrated, or have a headache as he was currently rubbing the sides of his head with his fingertips.

As she got closer she was delighted to note that both his mask and his hair were a lovely shade of purple. His mask was remarkable enough, but his hair. . . she’d only seen colours like that on flowers or on well dyed fabric. A confident gait would return to her step as she approached the man’s table and set her menu down on his table gently and clear her throat quietly before asking in a voice that was far too excited to meet a total stranger in a mask.

“Hi there! I’m hoping that you could help me, uh… see I’ve never been in here and I didn’t know that there were menu’s, and actually I didn’t even know that there was such a thing as a menu before today truth be told.” She would pause for a second as the dawning realization of the stupidity of her too quickly spoken words caught of with her brain, a scarlet blush forming on her pale cheeks. “Ah… anyway. I’m in need of someone to help me read it if you would be so kind. If you’re not busy I mean, because you didn’t look busy. Oh! I didn’t mean to sound rude just then.”

With a miserable sigh and a few small tears creeping out of her odd coloured eyes, one blue and one green, and she would sit down in the chair opposite him, shaking her head apologetically. “I’m so sorry, I should have introduced myself, I’m Sayuri and I’ve been told, often that I’m silly and foolish, so please forgive me. Also if I may say you have the most wonderful colour of hair I’ve ever seen, I didn’t think hair came in colours like that, it’s so pretty! I’ve only been here, in Konoha and in Kumogakure no Sato. But in my travels I’ve never seen the like. . . except on flowers. You know, you sort of look like. . . ” She would pause and consider her answer for a moment, searching for the right word for the plant, she knew the common name for it but she assumed that would give away the fact she was not educated at all. But I already told him I need help reading, so that’s hardly going to matter is it silly duck. “You look like a Plum Thistle. Which is quite pretty mind you! It’s a compliment.” She would put her elbows on the table and rest her chin delicately in her hands, lowering her voice and continuing in a concerned tone. “Do you have a headache, because I saw you rubbing your head and, well I don’t know much what to do about it, but is there some way I can help you?”

The wanderer quietly continued to look over his menu, having a very tough time of deciding on what sounded the best. He had heard good things from a few people he'd met during his time in the village about the pork dishes served in this place and decided to look in that section. The amount of specialty pork dishes really took the man aback. He was not expecting so many different ways to cook pork in one place, it was almost too much for him at once. However, he'd really wanted to try what he could from this place so he decided he'd go ahead and order the Pork Gyoza and Pork Shogayaki. Two traditional dishes that were supposed to be exceedingly delicious. Anon quietly rubbed his chin, the mask fabric scratching against his smooth skin as he thought, trying to decide on tea or sake to go with it. Perhaps he could even order friend rice to accentuate the pork flavors and make this meal all the more better for him to enjoy. Or should he forget the pork altogether and go for a beef or chicken dish? To be honest, he had no idea what he wanted with such an amazing menu.

The girl he'd seen upon sitting down had apparently been watching him and took this time to gather her coat and menu, then approach his table. She set her menu down upon his table before speaking up, rather excitedly to him.  It was rather strange for the wanderer, as she had to be the third or fourth woman to approach him randomly after he arrived in the village. He wondered if he looked like someone familiar? She seemed confused about the menu, or rather what a menu was and needed help to.. Read it? He was sure that most people taught their children to read at an early age, but was she not like that? Looking over the girl, he didn't notice a headband at all. He looked form his menu to her, contemplating exactly how he could assist someone else when he wasn't sure exactly what he wanted himself. It was a rather full menu, giving the air of the place having quite the selection. This would definitely take some time for the two to decide what they wanted, if he was to help her read it.

When she sat down, the male had noticed slight tears in her eyes, probably from frustration. She sighed and introduced herself as Sayuri. She followed this up with saying she was often told she was silly and foolish, continuing on to say that he had a great colour of hair. She mentioned that she didn't think hair colours came like his and he was about to let her know why his was this colour but she continued on speaking, so he politely allowed her to continue. She compared him to a plum thistle which was... probably a plant? The wanderer really had no idea. His knowledge on flora and fauna was severely lacking in all ways save for the flora and fauna in and around Suna and Iwa. When she asked if he had a headache, he felt it was finally his turn to speak and chuckled softly, before doing so. "Quite the talkative lass, aren't you? My name is Anon Brier of the Mitarashi, it's a pleasure to meet you. I do not have a headache but I am having quite the hard time deciding what to eat. If you really need help we can decide together and choose a dish that we both might like? It would make things much easier. Truth be told, I've never been here either, I just arrived not long ago from Sunagakure no Sato."

After he'd finished speaking, he noticed a waiter approaching their table. When he got to them he began to pull out a pen and notepad, smiling at the two. "Ah is there anything I can get the lovely couple." Shaking his head, Anon quietly replied to the young man, chuckling once again. "I'm sorry, we're not a couple. We've only just met. We're going to need a minute or two before we order but can I trouble you for a green tea? I'm sure this young lady has a request for a drink as well. Otherwise, please give us a bit longer." After the waiter would take their drink orders, he'd hustle off to fulfill them, Anon looking back at his menu, quietly. He was contemplating exactly what sounded the best. "Which sounds better to you? Pork Dumplings and pot stickers.. Or chicken and fried rice with rangoons? I'm completely confused on all of it."

Anon continued to flip through the menu, turning it over and chuckling, shaking his head. On one of the pages were a great deal of the house specials, with pictures above the descriptions to make things much simpler on the two. They would then be able to choose whichever looked the most tantalizing to them and go from there. This would certainly lighten the load on the woman who couldn't read and the indecisive wanderer. Quietly reaching over, he flipped open the girl's menu to the page he was on, pointing to it quietly before he chuckled another time, speaking to her with a cheerful voice. "I can't believe I didn't notice this! The house specials are on this page with loads of pictures. We can just flip through this and decide on which picture looks the most appetizing to us, then go from there! I have a few things for dessert in mind already, so all we need to do is decide on appetizers and entrees. Or, really just a small snack to munch at until the larger portion of the meal comes. I'm not trying to insinuate you don't know those words, but I don't recall if others use the same lingo as where I'm from. I've noticed that people act and speak quite differently from myself around here, so forgive me if I offended you in any way."

Sayuri was enormously grateful that she was not immediately rebuffed by the very colourful man that she had so brazenly invited herself to join. She could see in his eyes that he was smiling, probably. He was at least laughing and that was near enough for her liking. When he described her as “a talkative lass” she would laugh brightly, she knew full well she was and it didn’t bother her to be called so in this manner. He didn’t seem to be annoyed at all which was a relief. So far in her dealings around Konohagakure no one had been, perhaps then it had only been when she was wandering in and around Kumogakure no sato that she’d had problems. Over all she had observed the people in Konoha had been very friendly. And as he introduced himself as Anon Brier of the Mitarashi, also having recently arrived from Sunagakure no Sato she would gasp quietly. “Sunagakure? That’s. . . very far. Very, very far I think. Is everyone’s hair there purple? Uh. . . I’m sorry, that’s probably a stupid question. And Mitarashi, is that a group? I’m not familiar with anything from Suna.” She would tug at her own long white hair absentmindedly while speaking with him, happy to have made a friend for a short time. She jumped again as the surprisingly stealthy young man with the notepad walked up and spoke to them. Is he a Shinobi? How does he keep sneaking up like that?

She was thankful that Anon took over speaking to the young man, she was flustered when he mentioned the “lovely couple” and a stammering unintelligible string of words was all that managed to make it out of her mouth. “I… we’r- . . . uh. . . not th- no.” She hadn’t meant at all to give that impression, and now felt embarrassed by the miscommunication of her intentions. She wasn’t sure at all what to say when Anon suggested that she get a drink. She would look from the purple haired man to the menu she had placed down previously and back again, hoping that an idea would spring to mind but her mind refused to give her one. It was annoyingly blank as it was stuck on the phrase “young lady”, a phrase she had grown to quite detest over the past year. Two things she most assuredly did not consider herself to be were young and a lady. She was an adult, despite not having any sort of formal education she was more than old enough to get around in the world even if she had to ask for help on occasion, like she was having to do at this very moment. And a lady; while she was undeniably female, when she envisioned what a lady was, she thought of a princess in some faraway land. Probably surrounded by servants and living in a palace, wearing a long flowing gown and probably on her way to some fancy dinner where she would undoubtedly meet a handsome prince and they would marry and rule their kingdom benevolently. But herself, she was just a poor woman who through fortunate circumstances had come into the company of kind people after having been the child of rice farmers. It wasn’t entirely luck she knew, there was hard work and a lot of determination involved, and mountain climbing but it could have gone very differently when she had first met Mitsuo Sarutobi, the Sword Saint of Konoha and then later Tsuyo Hyuga, the Golden Dragon Wielding Shinobi Healer. Both of those men she had grown to love, and trusted implicitly and yet. . . she still couldn’t get either of them to stop calling her a young lady. Or some variation of that, with Mitsuo it was usually ‘child’ or ‘kid’ or ‘foolish child’. There was one friend she had made that hadn’t done that though, Shiro. Dear, sweet, heroic Shiro. She would sigh softly and shake her head as she could not think of what to say to a drink request, as she was too wrapped up in her ruminations to make a proper choice. “Could I maybe have some wine please? White wine.” She didn’t even know anything about types of wine, she’d just been in the habit of procuring wine for Tsuyo while she gathered food for them at the market. Sadly she’d never much bothered to pay too close attention to what she was purchasing, never thinking that it would be information that would be relevant at any other time.

As the young soft footed and always smiling man hurried away to retrieve their drinks Sayuri listened to Anon as he rattled off a list of what she believed were probably different types of foods. Pork dumplings, pot stickers, rangoons? She’d heard some of those words before, but not together, and some of them not in relation to food. He must have seen the perplexed look that was undoubtedly gracing her delicate features as he quite suddenly laughed while reaching over and turning the page for her in the menu and much to her delight pointed out that there were pictures. Sayuri’s eyes lit up and she would grin mischievously at the mention of dessert, she had a penchant for sweets and if she could she’d completely ignore every other type of food, well except rice of course, and only live on sweets. She would look at the pictures and point at one that looked like a very pretty bowl of rice with bits of meat on it, “This one looks good, oh and maybe this one here because they look like tiny pillows! Actually they all sort of look like tiny pillows, but in different shapes. Could we try a couple of the different pillow ones?” She was very surprised when not only had he pointed out the pictures, but he had apologized for implying that she didn’t know how to read. When she had been fairly certain that she had said she didn’t know how. No, I definitely said I couldn’t read it. So then why. . . oh. Of course, because he’s trying to not embarrass me. Silly duck, you are dense sometimes you know that?

“I’m not offended by that, really. It’s quite alright, I asked you for help after all. I was always told to never be embarrassed or ashamed to ask for help, it’s strength to know your limitations, not weakness.” She would shrug casually as she grinned up at Anon and turned the page on the menu again, this time to the dessert section, her face glowing. “This is what I prefer most of all, if I could I would only eat any of these. When I was little these were foods I was most likely to get, because no one thinks anything of giving children sweets you see.” She would give another quick shrug as she looked over the pictures of sweet buns and cakes and puddings and tarts with a hint of nostalgic sadness in her eyes. Her sad thoughts were interrupted by the return of their shinobi-esque server who held a tray with their drinks, and once placing them down hurried away efficiently as always. She would lift the wine glass carefully and smirk, “If it were left entirely up to me, I would only eat from this page. But of course, you get to pick too. So what would you like to eat, because I’m making the assumption that most people don’t like to eat only sweets.” She would laugh merrily as she placed her glass to her lips and sipped generously, the acrid smell of the alcohol reaching her nose before the taste of the wine touched her tongue. It was not entirely unpleasant, but it was not altogether pleasant either. Her nose would scrunch up just a tiny bit as the liquid burned, but as the burning sensation passed she found the flavour to be enjoyable, like fruit and trees and warm sunshine. So she would sip again.

She seemed to laugh at being called a talkative laugh and this brought a laugh from the man himself while they looked over the menus. She didn't seem to know much about the people in Sunagakure no sato, nor natural hair colours. It seemed she didn't know anything about Mitarashi either, which wasn't surprising. Given that they had no kekkei genkai, it was little more than a surname at this point. "No, my hair is not naturally this colour, honestly. It's normally a white hue, almost eggshell. I just have my own reasons for wanting to dye it and keep it at this colour.  Most people in Suna have sandy hair colours or even crimson, sometimes black from what I've heard.  The Mitarashi are actually a clan, scattered to the four winds now, but from what I found out in the clan hall we had in Iwagakure no sato, it started somewhere here in Konoha. One of the first known within the clan was Anko Mitarashi. She used to be a ninja in this village. Without a kekkei genkai though, we're little more than a surname. That's all that's gotten passed on and most of the clan married in or otherwise joined. Not exactly exclusive."

Anon watched the girl after he ordered his tea and tilted his head. She was taking a while to decide on her drink, she seemed to be stuck on something or other, and Anon hoped it wasn't because she didn't know what she wanted. The wanderer quietly looked over his menu while waiting for a reply from the girl, contemplating exactly what would go best together. There was a few types of dango on the menu, even one platter of them with a sampling of seventeen flavors! His mouth nearly watered at the thought of it. When the girl spoke up, it wasn't for something like juice or tea, or even a type of carbonated drink like soda. It was for a whine of the white variety, which made the ninja give her a quizzical look. She seemed to have gotten the same kind of reaction from the waiter, but nonetheless he smiled and and ran off to procure their orders for drinks after writing them down. The wanderer silently scratched the back of his head, looking down at the menu. He felt rather out of place now, ordering tea. This was mostly casual, as he hadn't expected to have someone to dine with, but she seemed to be taking it to a more fanciful level than he himself had intended.

Anon watched the girl's perplexed look turn to one of joy when she caught sight of the pictures on the other page that Anon had decided to show her. She pointed out a bowl of rice with meats in it, which happened to be a sort of chicken friend rice, and some that looked like 'tiny pillows.' Which could only be the dumplings and pot stickers. She wanted to try a few of them, especially the ones with the shape of the small pillows. The wanderer chuckled softly, looking over the menu himself, noting the ones she had chosen and considering them quietly. They could definitely do with the dumplings and pot stickers, then move on to something dessert wise, which she seemed to be more excited for than anything else he had mentioned. In truth, he was excited for something for dessert as well, since he had somewhat of a sweet tooth when it came to dango. There were many different flavors of dango, but he found the best ones were the sweetest. His eyes scanned the dessert menu and he noticed something that piqued his interest: Mitarashi Dango. Named for something else, he was sure, but it was so interesting that he couldn't possibly pass such a thing up.

She told him she wasn't offended by what he said and seemed to be rather accepting of it, calling it a strength to seek help and not a weakness. He nodded along as she spoke, listening intently. When it came to her talking about being able to eat just sweets, he was correct in inferring that she was most excited about those. She turned to the page of the menu that was loaded down with desserts, speaking that no one thought much of giving sweets to kids so these were the foods she was most likely to get. He was raised on a balanced diet, so he himself couldn't relate too well to it, but he didn't think less of her for eating so many sweets as a child. He almost wished he'd discovered such great things as dango when he was a young child so that he could have enjoyed them more and longer. While she was busy looking over the menu, the waiter returned with their drinks and Anon accepted his graciously, lowering his mask to show the rest of his alabaster face, smooth complexion, and slightly thin lips. He sipped upon his hot green tea, eyeing her as she smirked and sipped her alcoholic beverage. He watched her nose scrunch up and couldn't help but chuckle, smiling after the fact.

She didn't seem used to the taste of wine, even after ordering it and seeming to know what she wanted. The waiter stood there patiently while the male sipped his tea and looked over the menu. He rubbed his chin quietly while the waiter smiled nonchalantly towards them, pen and notepad in hand. He was waiting on their orders, as a waiter does. The waiter was waiting, Anon almost chuckled at the irony before he nodded to himself and decided that now would be the best time for them to order what they'd been looking at. "We'd like two orders of chicken fried rice, pork pot stickers, and chicken dumplings. Then for dessert I'd like an order of Mitarashi Dango and she'd probably like an entire sampler for the entire menu. But I'll let her decide exactly what she wants."

With the orders written down the ninja sighed and sipped on his tea once more, looking at the girl before him. He considered everything that was going on between the two of them up to this moment and tilted his head as something occurred to him. "I'm sorry! I didn't let you decide what you wanted! I only went off of what we were talking about and took charge. We can call the waiter back so you can get something else." The wanderer bashfully scratched the back of his head, rather embarrassed that he'd forgotten to allow Sayuri to order for herself. He was so used to ordering for just himself and taking charge that it hadn't even dawned on him that someone would have another opinion on something they'd want. He hoped he didn't offend her too much by taking the lead. There was only one way to find out if she was upset about it though, and that was for her to tell him that she was angry or sad that he took the options away from her. While he waited on her response, the ninja quietly sipped on his green tea, the scalding sweet liquid pouring down his throat. It wasn't long before it was gone and the waiter brought back a dish with a tea kettle and more cups and saucers, creams and sugars pairing perfectly. While he waited for the girl to respond to him, Anon absentmindedly stirred in a few sugars to a new cup of tea, making sure to keep the solution perfectly sweetened. When he figured it was at the perfect sweetness, he took a sip and smiled to himself, placing the tea down and placing his hands quietly in his lap. He was unsure what to do with himself during the period of waiting they were under at the current moment.  Anon silently contemplated the ways this night could go and worried suddenly whether or not Supaku would be upset with him for this if she found out. It's not like they were exactly together or anything, but he was sure it was pretty rude to be dining with someone else before dining with someone you were getting.. comfortable with. The man sighed as he thought of this, unsure what he was even thinking about anymore.
