Mission name: Capturing the Demon Fish [ Akuma no sakanawotoru - 悪魔の魚を捕る]
Rank: EVENT
Objective: Capture the magical demon fish.
Location: Namahage Festival Grounds
Reward: 10 Tickets
Mission description: A slightly altered version of the traditional Japanese festival game of scooping fish. Instead of a small inflatable pool, there is a 25 m radium pool behind the stalls, with meter-long demon fish (weighing approximately 15 lbs each) inside. Without causing irreparable damage to any of the fish, capture two of them and bring them ashore where they will be approved by the stall owner, then put the fish back.
Mission details: If any major damage is inflicted on the fish, the mission is considered an immediate failure. Each player will be given one E-rank net (easily breakable by the fish if simply used to attempt to scoop the fish out), a fishing rod (with a weight capacity of approximately 5 lbs), and a small can of fish bait. Any and all techniques may be used provided that it does not bring harm to the fish or to the surroundings. Each demon fish is 1 meter long and 15 lbs, with enough intelligence to evade easy capture, moving at speeds which scale according to the person hunting them, always just slightly faster. Their sharp teeth cause small puncture wounds that - when left unattended - can gradually cause numbing in the surrounding area of the bite.

'This seemed to be no ordinary task...‘

Hanbei would look into the pool as he was handed the bait and the fishing rod that looked like it was falling apart, likely to break at any given moment. Looking hesitantly back at the fisherman who was running the stall Hanbei would look back to the pool, Activating the chakra thread technique, thinking it would be an easier bet to weave the chakra threads into a light net he would begin to fold and weave the chakra as he would maintain them. Looking to the fisherman with a smile as he did so, tying the threads over and under and over and under as he would continue his threading work faster and faster as he got into the flew of the weaving. Hanbei's fingers would move like lightning as this was nothing compared to the weaving and expansive experience of weaving silk clothing. Soon enough, the boy was wielding a net that would be large enough to catch any one of the fish. Raising an eyebrow the fisherman seemed to be a little surprised or at the very least intruigued at the idea that a mortal was simply able to create a seemingly massive amount of thread within themselves in one form or another.

''Oh, it's really rather easy, you just form it out of your charka, kids are taught this where we're from you see, you could likely perform it as well if you learn to control your own chakra. But sadly i dont know how chakra flows through spirits. So you'd have to find a teacher other than me.''

The being seemed to accept the statement and would watch as Hanbei would lean over the edge of the tank, as one of the demon fish took a leap in trying to bite Hanbei's face, causing him to lurch backwards at such a speed that it hurt his back and dropping him to the ground muttering at the pain as he clutched his lower back because of the whiplash before getting up once again for a second try.

'Round 2 wouldn't be so easy for them‘

Grabbing the net hanbei would lean slightly over the pond this time around, getting a lay of the land. There were a couple of large fish in there, each of them massive. Looking at them there was no doubt that the fishing rod that Hanbei was given was a means for the shop owner to make a quick buck off the people who came to the stall, however those like Hanbei and mortals whom had some semblance of chakra control would be able to think of another way to snag the prizes... the fact that there was a sign saying that they were able to try any means in order to catch the fish. As Hanbei watched and waited the owner of the stall laughed and talked about how one time a ninja had used their own hand as bait for the fish, allowing them to clamp on and simply drag them over with two massive fish hanging off either of their arms. He'd never seen anything like it in his life, but the ninja healed their arms quickly afterwards, the bites seemed pretty serious though. Hanbei nodded laughing in turn as his eyes never left the fish.

''Yeah, you definately find a couple of odd balls in us mortals every now and then dont you, though I'm sad to say that I'm nowhere near as interesting as a person as some of the others. ''

Hanbei spoke as he launched his net, wrapping it around one of the fish as he would struggle hard to draw the fish out of the water, walking over and handing it over to the man as it was weighed and then subsequently thrown back in with the others. The man saying that the boy should not be foolish, fisherman as he was, even he knew the signifcance of the eyes that were in his sockets, they were special, and people had been waiting a long time to see them, spirit or otherwise.

'Hanbei nodded to the old man‘

Grabbing his net and heading back to the side of the pond he would look for another fish, it wasn't too hard to catch them, Hanbei was a lot stronger than he looked thanks to the chakra control he had managed to achieve with his medical techniques. He was able to run chakra in traceless sums into his muscles as he moved to make his movements and his actions a little stronger than that of a normal person, but a bit less than that of your average ninja. Looking to the man as he dragged out the second fish and traded it for his tickets he could not help but remark on the comment that was made on his eyes.

''So, these eyes, how many of you do you think would recognize them?''

The spirit replied in kind, that basically all of them would, the Great Sage was known to the spirits, and many of them had debts to him in one form or another, though, he should be careful, there were those in the spirit world who would want to take them for themselves for the power they held within them, it may make a keen demon strong enough to challenge some of the bigger fish in the sea. Hanbei nodded, thanking the man before finally taking his leave, his tickets, and a warning.
