As it said on the request board. 'All items requested by the forger that lives in this house are to be exchanged within the boards of their property.' It was just a fancy way of saying that all request weapons must be exchanged in person at this house. Kisei waited patiently on the small porch of their house, carrying a small box with the requested items, (a pair of combat gloves), nervously tapping his foot. The tiny pug dog next to him snapping at him to calm down. "Sorry Alfa, I'm just really sold on the idea of being your test subject." He whined. The dog somehow managed to look even more flat-faced than before. "I know that you wanted me to 'gain some experience', but I thought you meant teaching me how to forge chakra tech, not become it's delivery boy."

Clearly irritated enough, he turned and sat facing away from the younger Ushinatta. Kisei sighed hopelessly. He had been beyond excited when Alpha had hinted at allowing him to forge chakra tech, but had been disappointed, (though no surprised), when the smithing compound in the lower basement had been locked from the inside.

He knew how to work with that otherworldly technology, well a little bit, but Alpha was quite adamant about refusing to teach him anything beyond basic tools. Now here he was, box in hand, waiting for their client to show up and pay. How fun. His job was a simply one: Introduce the merchandise, teach the client how to use it without killing them in the process, and collect the money. Although the Ushinatta was confident that he could handle a simple weapons briefing, after spending all night memorizing the blueprints, Alpha had seen fit to accompany them in case anything went wrong or the requester was a particularly violent person.

Hopefully it wouldn't come to that.

Ryu had heard of this weapons smith from rumors around the village. An individual that could make weapons unlike any other. Weapons that leveled the playing field between those with natural talent and common weapons and those without. A single weapon from this forge was rumored to increase ones combat capability a hundred fold. It didn't matter to him though. Even if it was only a small boost he only had B rank quality weapons. Or rather he had one kunai of the most common quality, and one dagger of slightly better. He was in the market for a new weapon anyway and something that leveled the playing field more than other weapons? Even better. It didn't matter what it took. That glass ceiling for non village nin like himself...one tossed out into the sands and forbidden to practice jutsu any longer, he would shatter it by any means. So he had placed an order a couple of weeks passed now. No money up front which was a policy keeping him from thinking it was a scam. Payment was expected before taking the item though. He was fighting for scraps but he could afford this much. Now it seemed it was time to collect.

Ryu had dyed his hair once more to change his appearance from the wanted posters. His whole look reverting back to his actual hair color and skin tone. His wardrobe had changed as well. Away went the blue jeans and jean jacket. Along with the plain black eye patch. His long black hair hung loose around his shoulders now. He had put on a set of dark robes tied around his waist with a thick belt hiding his dagger on his right hip and his kunai was strapped to his left arm. Hidden under his robes. He often stood alone so a hidden weapon was his friend. He wasn't a hero but he was someone who stood up for those under him. The way a king should be. His eye patch was ornamental over his right eye. A metal jackel with horns where its ears should be imprinted into it. Black boots were strapped high on his calves while pants were tucked into them under the robes. Lastly he would grab his long black coat. Slipping his arms into the sleeves with the heavy shoulder pads decorated in rope. A chest plate clipped onto either side of the front of the coat holding it together. Another symbol loosely resembling a jackel with a crown above it this time. He was claiming his spot as king now.

So he opened his safe and collected the amount he would need. Most of what he had but if it was worth it, it was going to be. It had to be. Still he closed his safe with what little he had left. He needed to raid some more gangs. His blue eye seemed to shine these days with a new energy inside. He was close to the verge of something else. At times he could find himself feeling everything around himself. His eye shifted to the roofs as he spotted only the tail of a grey coyote shifting out of sight. He would grunt a little before continuing on his walk. It took him about an hour to get from his bar in the slums to the location printed on the card. The rules were he had to pick the weapon up here? His eye lifted almost glowing even in the light of day. He didn't seem bothered at all by the heat in all black. Still his eye settled on a boy and his dog as he stopped just outside the front yard. Studying him and the box he held. Waiting to be invited in. He supposed he was an imposing figure but he would still attempt to be polite.

Kisei was starting to get fidgety when Alpha stopped pacing and store out towards from the porch of their small home. Kisei followed the dog’s gaze, instinctively gripping the weapon’s case a little tighter. Just beyond the boundaries of their property stood a heavily cloaked figure, dressed in black. “Alpha, could you go inside and get my umbrella, just in case.” The pug continued its stare for a lingering moment before obliging Kisei in his request. Kisei went to open the door for Alpha, but the ninja had him beat to it. With surprising agility in his transformed state, he leaped upwards and gripped the doorknob with his tiny mouth. Twisting the metal knob he pushed off with those tiny legs of his before plopping back onto the floor next to a slightly slobbered, but open, doorway. “Show off.” I muttered.

His brother showed no sign of acknowledgement that he heard Kisei as he walked inside. A few moments after, he appeared in the doorway again, holding the weighty umbrella in his mouth. Carefully balancing it with his teeth. “Shall we?” I asked. Alpha nodded as much as he could without losing his leverage. Kisei returned the gesture as he turned towards the stranger, who he assumed was the customer who ordered these gloves. He carried the box with both hands underneath, walking as gracefully as he could muster. Alpha hadn’t had many people request items from him yet, the last thing he needed was a bad impression.

When he finally stood face to face with man he studied him for but a glance. Whoever they were, they didn’t seem to be too bad. They were taller than he was, and, from what he could guess from underneath all that clothing, they possess quite the muscular physique. Kisei could guess that they weren’t your ordinary, everyday, shopping customer. The very nature of the item they requested… it was something you’d give to an expert shinobi. By that alone Kisei could guess that they were, how you say? Dangerous. He really should've checked the list of registered sunagakure ninja before giving the request to Alpha. His brother was confident that whoever they were, that they would be approved of by the kazekage administration. Though skeptical of his brother’s trust he wouldn’t violate his wishes. Even if he was a mangy, umbrella stand of a dog at the moment.

When Kisei looked up he was found with a lovely pair of blue eye and eye patch. If his brother wasn’t here, Kisei may have considered- “Good day.” Kisei nodded. “Welcome to the Ushinatta Compound, my name is ‘K’. I’ll be the one today to introduce the product to you and go over how to handle it.” He introduced calmly. “I’m assuming that you’re the one who ordered these gloves?” With a swift motion, Kisei brought the briefcase he brought, level to his hips and popped it open. Displaying a pair of ornate, beautifully crafted gloves. “If you are then what do you say to getting started? Oh, and I hope you don't mind the dog.”

Ryu would glance across the yard to the young man sitting on the porch. It only took a moment before they locked eyes but in that moment Ryu had studied him as best he could from that distance. It wasn't much but he could tell the young man was of thin frame and his eyes were not the kind of cold hue that one got from experience in battle. Either nothing truly emotionally damaging had come across him yet out of sheer luck or he was still a novice level shinobi. Truth be told he had expected something far more callous to be before his eyes. He wasn't a registered shinobi at all. In fact he was an ex convict. It was illegal for him to own so much as a kunai yet alone something this profoundly advanced. His eye shifted to look at both directions of the road before he took a relieved breath. If he was under surveilance then surely they wouldn't have let him come this far. Still he was tempted to utilize his sharingan just a bit to see if this was a trap. He doubted it but maybe if he just peeked. No, there was no need for that. If someone attacked him they were in for a fight.

Still the kid spoke to the dog who jumped up and opened the door himself. How interesting. Either they were very well trained or a summon of some sort? Some kind of sentient animal anyway. For a moment Ryu waited where he was outside the property before the dog returned with a strange umbrella. They seemed to communicate again before the dog nodded. Sentient it was. Combat pet maybe. Much like that snake from before... He would certainly keep the idea the dog was far more capable than he appeared in mind. Still they rose up with case in hand and approached Ryu. He would remain where he was all the same. He hadn't been invited onto the property as of yet. If this turned out well he wanted to be a repeat customer. Which meant he needed to behave himself. Still there was nothing suggesting what he wanted was in the box. Explosives could be possible. Than again this was just a kid walking towards him. Not some gruff back alley weapons dealer with scars and a twisted smile. That damned snake woman had made him nervous as of late. He just needed to relax and figure this whole meeting out.

Still the kid stopped at a comfortable speaking distance. Which was likely because the kid spoke up. Skipping formalities while still remaining polite. Ryu would tilt his head as the briefcase was raised swiftly and clicked open to reveal a pair of ornately designed gloves. So they had been completed and by the look of them would certainly add to the damage his bare hands could do. Some sort of exoskeleton system? Oh yes indeed he was looking forward to testing these. Not on the kid of course but there were some trouble making upstarts in his territory. His blue eye shifted from the gloves to the boy and then to the dog as he finished speaking. Looking the dog holding the umbrella in the eyes as he studied him. There was a sense of tension within him he had to admit. Familiarity as well. For some reason the dog reminded him of the coyote dreams he had been having as of late. That coyote dream that had started with that woman. Still Ryu would glance back to the boy. His name was apparently the letter K. How interesting. He smiled a little with the left side of his mouth slightly higher almost in a smirk. Speaking in a gruff tone but none threatening.

"I like canines so long as they like me. The village calls me Jackal after all. If I can come in I would like to try out these gloves you made master smith K. If they live up to the advertisement then our business will hardly be complicated. I assume ya'all have some sort of testing grounds?"

Kisei eyed him carefully while he scanned over the merchandise. A small huff of relief escaped himself when he saw the approval on their face. At least they were interested. The man spoke with a voice deeper than what he would’ve guess, he mentally nodded in approval. Smiling a bit at his opinion of dogs. Although he almost chuckled at the misconception that he forged the item. Not to blow he own horn, but he did help with ideas when Alpha had smither’s block. (Sometimes ideas were hard to come by when you were stuck in the basement all day.)

The younger Ushinatta nodded. “We don’t exactly have a testing ground, but we do have a large basement built for initial testing, that would be an ideal place to practice.” Kisei explained. He looked down to the pug next to him for approval. Alpha gave a faint but discernible nod, with Kisei giving one in return. He moved to close the case. No sense in selling slightly broken merchandise in case it fell. Not that it could be damaged by a little sand, Kisei scoffed. “Unless you’d prefer to practice out here, either works fine for both of us. Though if you still want the basement that is fine as well.” He smiled.

If Ryu did choose the basement Kisei for simply nod and place the case on the ground, Alpha the dog following with Kisei’s umbrella, and they exchanged items. As soon as they did Alpha took off, case in mouth, towards the still open door to the house. “He’s going to go on ahead of us and set up the testing room. I’ll lead you down. So if you’d kindly-” Kisei grinned, as he beckoned for the other man to follow him.

When they entered the house the teen would quickly close the door behind the stranger. Silently he’d lead them both down the corridor leading to the testing room. While it connected to the laboratory Alpha created a separate room to prevent others from having to go through his work space to get to the there. When they arrived to the bottom of the stairs the pair was greeted with another small corridor, with a single door at the opposite side. It was faintly lighted, with ceiling lights, which clashed with the sandstone walls. Continuing to lead the customer down to the door he knocked three times before pulling it open. Kisei sighed in relief as Alpha, back to his normal green haired self, stood behind a small coffee table with the open case on top, displaying the merchandise once more. “So, whenever you’re ready.” He nodded to Kisei, who moved up to collect the gloves from their case. The teen moved back to their customer and gingerly presented them to him.

Ryu would look at the gloves with the one shining eye and consider his options. If he took these gloves what would he do with them and what would be the true cost? What would he accomplish and what trials might he fail with them? He had watched power corrupt and even had to put some of his own in line while taking a step back and looking his own actions over. If he took this power would it eventually corrupt him? to rise above a weapon and be the man he was when this all started was the challenge. He had heard before that a true fighter was never defined by how they armed themselves or their opponents armory. To the untrained a sword was about as useful as a spoon. To the trained a spoon could be as useful as a sword. What had one of those he trained under said? The man from Iwa? Or was it another? Either way they said a true fighter was as much simply because whatever fight they came across, regardless of what they brought with them, could dominate a battlefield. A mountain to overcome for certain. So was the slums though. He needed to conquer both.

The boy spoke up then drawing the glowing blue eye to look at him and study him. A basement? Now there was a danger. An enclosed space underground. If he had to use his doton he could very well collapse an entire building on himself. It was an ideal way to trap a doton specialist. Not that he wasn't without other tactics but it felt limiting. His paranoia and distrust were at least something he was aware of though. Taking a breath he stretched out and casually turned his neck one way and then the other. Cracking it as he used the opportunity to glance around. He didn't sense a trap at all. There wasn't anyone suspicious besides himself. Along with that note people seemed to be minding their own business and leaving the two of them without more than a passing glance in his direction. Ryu had considered himself imposing to say the least but no one even paid him any mind. Were they so accustomed to dealing with his type? If so taking him down might not be an issue if he stepped out of line. He needed to behave himself. The snapping case with the gloves in it drew his attention back with the sound of the scoff. More words spoken.

It was an offer to train outside if he wished it. If nothing else it eased his idea that it could be a trap. He still considered it possible but unlikely. He would sigh and nod before watching the boy and his dog exchange items. His blue eye observing the umbrella again. It looked heavy for some reason. Still he would follow the kid as the dog took off to prep the testing area. It took them a minute longer than the dog but they gradually entered a building before the door was shut behind him. Ryu slipped his hands casually into his pockets but only to hide any fidgeting. He was underground just like the prison had been. Sand stone walls dimly lit by overhead lights as they moved down a corridor and down stairs, down another corridor and through a door. It was there he spotted a green haired boy opening a case for him once more. Kisei moved across the room before gingerly bringing him his purchase. Ryu would take them with a slight nod of his head in respect before slipping his hands within. Certainly heavier than he had come to expect. Not enough to slow his strikes though. Flexible too. All good he thought to himself as he closed and opened his hands a couple of times. Form fitting as well. Better than just a pair of knuckles. He would speak up as he took a quick jab into the air idly. To them though it would be a slight blur of movement.

"Alright, nice fit. What do I need to know kiddos?"

Kisei sighed a light breath when the man took the gloves, smiling to himself when they nodded. He made a note of the weight that was lifted from his hands when he took them. As beautiful as the gloves and the man were, neither seemed to complement the other very well. Expected as much, Alpha rarely designs his weapons for aesthetics, and he didn’t have anything to compare to even if he was struck by the mood. Although with a weapon like this, looks weren’t all that important. They tried a few quick swings and Kisei couldn’t really focus on the gloves, having one eye was already hard enough, the added effect of the gloves was overkill on his eyes. The ushinatta turned to his brother who smiled softly at the sight, smither’s pride it seemed.

The ushinatta paired nodded in response to their client's question. Alpha spoke up, his calmy gravelly voice pulling Kisei’s attention. “Well first off, Kisei move behind me.” The younger ushinatta obliged with a happy nod to their gloved companion before doing so. “Now, you’ll want to focus your chakra into your fists.” Alpha paused, then nodded to the wall to Ryu’s right side. “Charge your chakra, and take a swing at that wall, try and ‘pulse’ that concentrated chakra if you can, it might help.”

The younger Ushinatta took a deep breath. When they worked on the gloves, Kisei had the pleasure of testing it himself, well sort of. He didn’t actually wear it, though he did run a bunch of safety tests, which it promptly failed the first couple of tries. In any case he knew what these gloves were capable of. Which was he didn’t hesitate to follow Alpha’s instructions to gather behind him. He squished behind his brother in a tight ball, eliciting a light chuckle from the elder.

“Don’t worry, I just don’t want you accidently injuring this little one here.” His brother smiled. “Go on, whenever you’re ready.”

Ryu would look down at the gloves and take a breath. He had to purge his weaknesses. Was arming himself like this really the answer? Was he capable of gaining power just by these boys and their abilities? He remembered a time he was happy. A time as a child and part of a clan who cared for him. A time when even without parents he could laugh and cry with friends. How many years had it been since he took those steps into the academy? How long had it been since he graduated and partied with his family and friends...no family was an accurate statement to use to begin with. His friends had been more family to him after the fall than his clan. He knew now that if he had to avenge them again he would. He had regretted his decisions as a scared child in prison but he was passed that now. He had harmed the other genin and served his time for it because of the cruelty they had done to his friends. His clan had abandoned him and his friends hadn't survived and for so long he had knelt in defeat. A broken man. Only lately had he begun to raise his head again. While it was true he was an ex convict and most in the village just considered him a thug breaking the rules. He would mend his broken heart and the broken heart of all those who had been wronged and left in the slums.

Slowly he slid the gloves on. Reverent in nature as his eye seemed so sad. He hated that the world required him to be this beast. He hated that he had to shout his defiance in vain from roof tops to the village that ignored the cries of hundreds. The gloves slipped over his hands and he felt them fit rather well. The new boy suggested the boy from before get behind him. A glance from Ryu brought his attention back to them. Was it that dangerous? Of course he shouldn't have to ask that. He had requested they be. He had requested they be something to make the impossible a reality. Still he looked back at them. Not caring for the contrast they held to the rest of him. Still he would tightly clench his fists and bring the gloves up to his head. Resting them on either side of his temples as he spoke. A prayer that he didn't care if the two boys heard. His words cracking with emotion.

"Though my clan has disowned me and I have visited the graves of my friends, I need you to help me. I need you to be what I need to make these scars mean something. I beg of you, please take me through this world of broken trust and promises and force things to be different. I know now no one else is going to step up so you and me, We have to do the impossible. We have to change the village and save it."

With that he felt it. A connection as the gloves almost began to hum with life. As if they had accepted him. Accepted his resolve and his mission. He took a breath and steadied himself as he fought back the one tear that threatened to fall. He would lower the gloves from his face and nod before steadying himself. They wanted him to attack a wall. So be it. He took the required steps to stand in front of the wall. Not caring to see what it could do without making direct contact. That would be his job. His part of the partnership was to bring these gloves within range. To never back down and never fall. If he must retreat it was only to gain higher ground. If he must fall it was only to rise again. He focused his energy and the gloves crackled with energy. The hum growing more audible as a slight bit of lightning coursed from his back into the glove. He urged chakra into it little by little. Feeling it pull for more until he could tell it was full. So this was the power....He could feel it it pulsing in his hands. He took his stance and clenched his right fist hard. With a sudden shift of rapid movement his right fist shot out and smashed into the wall as blue chakra shot out and up cracks forming in the wall and spreading. The wall was going to hold but barely. Still as he pulled his fist out of the man sized crater he had left the glove still glowed with a blue power. He found himself looking at it with a glowing blue eye.

"Amazing."

Kisei blushed a heavy spot of red as he heard the man’s prayer. It was sad, though gracefully. No, perhaps that wasn’t the way to describe it. It was… beautiful. Yes, that seemed rather fitting. It was beauty the moved him. His words struck him as anything but; they accepted, and they felt… It was the plea of a man who wants to move on. Kisei, a tiny, weak excuse of a ninja, had created a treasure for this- this person. This human. He felt a slight tremor pull at his brother and when he looked up he could have sworn he saw something like pride on his face. Uncaring, but entranced nonetheless. It was closest thing to humanity he saw of Alpha when they were with someone else. The scene brought back memories of the two of them, talking about what it meant to forge. Although he probably couldn’t tell you the what they talked about or how the conversation went, there was something that Alpha said that he could remember so clearly.

“I forge because it is my heart. Because it is all I have left, and it is all that I am. When you have that kind of dedication to something, it brings forth someone’s true character.”

Kisei could tell he wanted to say more, but held back for some reason. The tense air between them left strained. As it was now. Though tense for a different reason. Every person holding their breath, expecting. He could very well guess the reasons behind Alpha’s tensity. As a smith it was his job to bring to reality what was born in his, and his client’s, imagination. His pride and reputation, (however nonexistent at the moment), was riding on the success of this weapon. Hours- Days of hard work, experiments, failures, have built up to this moment. Kisei couldn’t say for what reason the stranger before them hoped for, but he had the feeling that his own reasons weren’t too far from Alpha’s. Moments like these made him think. How people could so readily trust each other with something as valuable and fragile as hope. Alpha’s hope to support this village, and the hopes of the man before them, seemed to ride on the trust in the other. The Ushinatta bit his lower lip in expectation and frustration. There was something there, he had found something, but only time and experience who reveal the true value of his discovery.

As they approached their target Kisei gulped down a breath, the suspense was killing him here! The teen peaked out from the side of his brother, catching a short-lived glimpse of the gloves, fully charged. Suddenly- in one movement- they struck. Driving their fist into the wall. The reaction was more than he expected. The wall cracked! The damage slithering further across the stone as it were alive. However the real damage lay in the crater left behind by the attack itself. Kisei groaned, wide-eyed at the result. The damage was enough to fit a whole person in there! He gaped at Alpha and their client. The weaponsmith looking nothing less than ecstatic at the results. Completely ignoring the repair costs he was going to go through to fix the testing room. The man across from them seemed equally surprised.

“Well done, I wasn’t expecting such a violent reaction. I believe you three-” Alpha gestured to the gloves. “-will make a fine trio.” He smirked. “Now Kisei, I believe this is where you come in?” His brother sweetly suggested. “Oh right.” He flushed. Separating himself from Alpha he moved towards the gloved stranger. “Hopefully you’ve found everything up to standard and are satisfied with the final result. Although, if you intend on taking your weapons home with you we ask that you present your payment before leaving.” He stated a-matter-of-factually with a slight cheerful tone to it. “However, if there’s anything else you want to talk about before you go on your way, we’ll both be happy to talk it out with you.” Kisei turned back and gave Alpha one of his poker-faced smiles. The older Ushinatta knew exactly what he was up to but only gave a half-hearted groan and a disapproving stare in response. After all, it wasn’t often they got visitors, especially rather fine ones like their current client. Call him a criminal, but he appreciated beauty when he saw it.

Ryu would stand in front of the wall as his hand pulled back from the large crater it had just made. Crumbles of stone and dust falling from his fist. His blue eye would admire the device as it still hummed with power. Not as much as before but it still held a great deal. If he had to guess he would say he felt a third of it had been used. It felt alive and a part of him now. He could feel it and knew it felt him. For the first time he felt his power as it had grown to be. As he took a breath steam emerged from between his lips even though the room was a comfortable temperature. His left eye almost burning blue as the glove growled. An image of a blue dragon flickered as its long body coiled around him for a moment. Ryu was more than the average man. A walking dragon in human form destined to grow ever stronger until he shed his humanity and became a king among men. Or so it appeared in that moment. Still he would pause and take a deep breath before speaking seemingly to the gloves. His words barely audible among the otherworldly growling sound.

"Hush now my new friend. We will use our full power in due time. For now calm yourself."

With that the dragon seemed to fade away and the charge in the gloves did as well. The sheer pressure in the room dropping as one would be able to realize now how chakra pressure had been steadily building around them. Like frogs being boiled in a pot. None could deny Ryu was strong. Not the strongest yet but strong all the same. The older of the two boys spoke then. Explaining how he hadn't expected that reaction. Complimenting their new union. Ryu would smile even as his eye faded to a dull glow. The boys addressed each other and soon the younger of the two began to speak up. Mentioning the payment he was owed. Ah yes of course. Payment was due now that he was satisfied. As well as offering to speak on anything else concerning him in that moment. He would smile a little to himself before hesitantly and gently resting his gloved hand on the wall. Watching it and seeing if it would obey him or go off on its own. When it didn't he spoke again loud enough for them to hear.

"Of course. There are two things I would like to address besides the payment though. First, I should fix what I break. Don't you think?"

Ryu would reach out with his doton chakra and take in a surprised breath as he let his eyes close. The hand against the broken wall would begin to glow in a small grey energy. The cracks in the wall would seem to absorb the energy and begin to mold together. Forming once more into a solid wall before stone seemed to fill the crater itself. It wasn't smooth and it was obvious where the stone had been reinforced just by looking at it but the wall was solid once more. With that done he would open his eyes and release his breath. Turning as he walked over to the two and a nearby table. Reaching into his sleeve and pulling free a small pouch packed to the brim with coin. Small amounts that were difficult to trace but packed together for a larger amount. Normally their payment would have been in notes but this was a criminal trick to avoid a paper trail. He set the bag of two-thousand-five-hundred and fifty ryo on the table. Turning to look at the two of them with a coy smile and a glint of mischief in his eyes.

"The other part is an offer. One of you may take this upon yourselves but if you wish it, I will train you myself for one session. How about it boys? Does one of you have a pair big enough to take that challenge?"

The younger Ushinatta held back a relieved sigh when the stranger moved to fix their broken walls. It was rather interesting really, all they did was hold their palm flat against the wall and  the cracks closed up, the vertical crater gradually closed in on itself as they concentrated. In little time at all the once violent crater had vanished without any trace there was one in the first place. Well, on closer inspection, it wasn’t perfect but neither of the Ushinatta boys were complaining about a free repair job. With that over it back to the topic of payment it seemed. Kisei and the others moved back to the small table. Alpha, having forgotten the chairs, apparently, took this opportunity to sit on midair. One leg supporting him, perfectly bent at the right angle to hold him up, while the other leg was crossed on top of it. From Kisei’s view it looked a bit strange but you probably even wouldn’t be able to tell he wasn’t sitting on anything if the table wasn’t there.

When everyone had settled down, the client had brought out the money. A swollen bag filled to the brim with the agreed on payment. They settled it on the table and Alpha leaned over, keeping perfect posture, and began counting the money on the table as the man continued onto the second part of his ‘payment’. Kisei’s eyes widened slightly at the thought of being able to train with this man here. The very idea sent shivers down his body. Apparently Alpha had caught on and decided to speak for the two of them. “Well, I’m much too busy with work, although…” Alpha paused, laying the last of the money on the table, finding the appropriate count to be there. “-I think Kisei over here would benefit greatly from a training session, especially from one as strong, and experienced as you clearly are.” Alpha suggested slyly, the tiniest of smirks pointing the edges of his lips and the most mischievous glint in his eye you’ve ever seen. The devil, was Kisei really that obvious?

The Ushinatta cleared his throat before turning to their client. “I really appreciate the offer, but maybe not today? I still have to help Alpha here with his some of his work-”

“-It’s fine I can do it on my own.” The older Ushinatta interjected.

Kisei bit hard into the bottom of his lip, he knew what Alpha was up to and he wouldn’t be having it, not without a proper discussion first. “Anyways, perhaps next week? I’ll probably be free by then. If you wouldn’t mind.” Whatever they decided Kisei would nod understandingly before moving to lead their client out of the basement and into the front lawn before waving them goodbye.

Special Jounin
Ryu would listen to the two of them as they seemed to debate not so much who would train with him but rather when. He hadn't expected both of them to accept his words together and of the same mind. If nothing else he had expected the older and obviously less timid of the two to jump at the chance but instead he had voted in his brother. Still it appeared they wouldn't be taking him up on that today anyway. His eye shifted to the younger brother and studied him a moment. He wasn't sure what brought out this family togetherness between them without competition but it was interesting all the same. Either way this one seemed too timid to get far with his training. He certainly would push the kid and test out his will power in the end. He doubted he would last but he would give him the chance anyway. His training he endured when he was a genin was enough to make most give in and go home. His gaze was cold but it didn't shift from studying the younger of the two. He would take all of him in before nodding. Leaning down and whispering in his ear quietly with a twisted smile. Words for him alone to hear.

"You are free to come by when you see fit. Find me in the slums at the hounds heaven. If you get through day one without quitting I will personally treat you to a meal. If you can't though, I won't train you again until you can impress me. Lets see what you got kid."

With the money all paid up the transaction was complete. The younger of the two led him topside and out of the compound. He would glance at the kid once more before turning and making his way home. He had his new weapon now. There was something else though. His eyes shifted up to see the coyote just a small distance from himself. Sitting on the top of a one story wall. Their eyes met and slowly Ryu was dragged out of his own thoughts. His mind was blank a moment as he felt everything around him. Felt the surge of energy within himself. He felt his own power surge and knew the coyote was himself. A part of him he had failed to recognize before. This new power swelled in him and he smiled. So now he understood the power that woman had. He was now accessing that power himself. However there was still a great distance to go. He was building up now though. He had the eye, the gloves and now the sage mode. It was time to go back into the basics of physical training. If that kid had a pair enough to come train with him it would only help him towards his goals. His eye shifted to look over his shoulder back to the compound as he walked. If that kid came, He could be something impressive. The word of the day however was if. One would just have to wait and see now wouldn't they.
