1 War on Gangs: Disruption [Mission/Ryu Myugan] on Mon Oct 30, 2017 2:22 am

Genin
It was sad day when one had to oppose their own people. Tkamaru hadn’t had much assigned to him as of late, and found himself in quite the bind, not much to do, no one to train with. Though I suppose that this was what you’d call, “A call to action”? Even with the new kazekage a lot of people were beginning to lose faith with the shinobi institution here in the Sunagakure. Tkamaru didn’t like that. His parents had died for the safety of the village. To destroy the Sunagakure in any form, was treason, no splitting it mid-way. That was just how it was. These people, whoever they were, would be receiving no mercy from him. Luckily for them, that choice was out of his hands. While they hadn’t specified whether or not to harm them, seriously, the answer was suggested. To attack the civilians when they aren’t under a good cause to, would only reap greater chaos amongst the people. Not to mention how that would be entirely contrary to his entire life, and his parent’s life as defender’s of his home… Tkamaru sighed heavily as he took the mission details and folded it before slipping it into his pocket and moving to the sandy streets of the hidden sand village.

As he looked out to the seldom populated streets outside the kazekage administrative office he thoughts about how he’d carry out this mission. It was basically police work. The young ninja found no real problem with it, but on the other hand… Well, it just wasn’t for him. Yet, here he was, staking out a problematic group of individuals who’ve been gathering a sizable following of particularly violent intentions. Though he wasn’t to actually intervene until they are about to commit a crime. Hence his current transformed state. Tkamaru currently took the form of a black cat with impossibly blue eyes. In a very un-cat-like manner he sat on the wall of a dark alleyway. Watching over the small food stalls just outside of the slums. The studies he conducted earlier revealed a growing number of criminal activity in this area, so naturally he would be keeping watch in case something went wrong.

Moments passed into hours as he diligently kept watch over the vulnerable shop keeps and not so much as a hint of trouble. It was quickly approaching low noon and nothing has happened so far. Tkamaru was quickly growing discontented with this ‘guard duty’. Casually he walked down the across of the wall deeper into the alleyway. He blinked twice as he could almost hear the sounds of faint whispers across the corner. The cat ninja bent closer, leaning just enough to keep him from being discovered. “Shh! You’re gonna get us caught.” “Sorry… we’ll meet-” Then more whispers. The cat curiously peeked from his heightened view, the men below him looked small, and unsurprisingly they worse full cloaks. The cat almost meowed in panic when they started to briskly walk away. Not wanting to lose his chance at finding out just what these people were up to he set to off after them. Galloping on the walls with padded paws and determined blue eyes. Never letting them out of sight. Through the twists and turns of the alleyways of the slums he finally was rewarded with his goal. From behind the corner he curiously kept an eye on the scene below him. A number of cloaked figures, about seven or eight from his angle, were present.

“Have you got what we need?” one of them asked. The one opposing them nodded, exposing a bit of their cloak to show what they had. Luckily for Tkamaru they were in perfect view for him to spot what they were hiding. Kunai, knives, and other such bladed weapons. Tkamaru wasn’t very familiar with how the sunagakure handled their weapons, but he was fairly sure that kunai were reserved for shinobi. Although that didn’t mean-

“Ready to move to the market?” One suggested. The others nodded solemly.

Alright, this was happening. Still hiding around the corner he sprinted back to the ground, undoing the transformation. He walked around the corner, calm as day, to greet his latest targets. He held a half ram hand seal, not molding his chakra but enough to function as a treat. “So, where are you planning on going with those?”

Ryu hadn't slept well the night before. His eye had been bothering him again and he had dreamed as he viewed the chakras around him. At times he had dreamed of a large dark chakra creeping around snuffing others around him and then turning for him. He wasn't a hero or a light really to the people. He was a leader and as much he was respected but for how long was dependent on how long he helped the people. He was the fifth king but he hadn't the power yet in truth for him to change anything. If another king came for him, he could fight but he may die. The weakest of the five kings. What a title. Still even being the weakest he was enforcing the most territory. The other four had been at war for so long that any of them adding to a power struggle to their east was too dangerous. Still he didn't doubt there were plans for him. He might lay to sleep at night but there was a truth he couldn't ignore. They either intended to kill him immediately or use him to take over the entirety of the slums and maybe the village before killing him any way. He doubted they held him in high enough esteem not to try it. The biggest issue was they had shinobi in their ranks and he, well he was the only shinobi in his group. He was strong sure enough but perhaps not strong enough.

It hadn't really mattered for he knew he had his hand in the flames and was chaining himself to the village. What a sucker for pain he was. Still it was morning and he was standing in the shower with low water pressure. With winter coming the desert was growing cold at night. Freezing even. So the pipes were cold and brittle. He wasn't pushing them because he didn't want to replace them. Still the whine they made initially had faded and now warm water poured down his tattooed and scarred body. Tribal tattoo's across his chest and arms with an inmate number on the inside of his forearm. His right eye remained closed as the water ran through his long dark hair and he washed away the sweat and aches. The exhaustion pouring from him and down the drain with the relaxing heat. It was sadly short lived though as the water pipes began to wine again and cold water began to pour out. He quickly shot his hand out to turn off the shower before the shock could make him jump back. With a sigh he shivered and stepped out of the shower. Moving to stand in front of the heater and drying himself off with a towel. Spending some extra time on his hair due to the length. Still once he was finished he would set about getting dressed. A pair of black pants under dark midnight blue robes. Wrapping left over right before Tying it with a sash around the waist. With that done he strapped on a holster to his left forearm and placing a kunai into it. His dagger he would hide inside his sash on his right hip. Only revealing a slight bulge. With that done he would slip on a new pair of gloves with holes on the knuckled with no view of the knuckles themselves. Just hollow spots as if they were designed for something. Finally he slipped on his eye patch with a jackal wearing a crown designed on it. Moving to the door he slipped into his long coat. Putting it on before clipping the breast plate that was attached to the left side to the right side an holding his coat together at the chest.

With that said there had been rumors that one of the gangs he had put down recently had been robbing shops and trying to gain resources. If he had to bet they were trying to get reestablished. Not that he was surprised but they had to understand that money was unlikely to give them the power to put him down. They could buy all the weapons they wanted but he was beyond their level. Still they were shops in his territory so he couldn't ignore it. He would collect his pack of smokes, his lighter and his key and head out the door. He wasn't a young man anymore but he was still in his prime at least. Late twenties wasn't so bad but with all the weight on his shoulders he felt older. Still he left the bar locking it behind him and went for a walk Lighting up a smoke as he moved. People nodded to him or bowed their heads but he hardly registered it. He was their protector and he was busy doing his job. He would do whatever it took to make it and he was loosing his patience with those that would rise against him when he already put them down.

Of course in the slums rumor was his greatest source of information. Rumors had placed for him a pattern when robberies had seemed random. It wasn't based on location but rather the shops getting shipments in. The enemy had information on where to hit when it gained them the most but so did Ryu. After all he usually was helping acquire those resources. So he had arranged it so only one shop was getting a delivery today. And he was on his way there. Of course he had arrived well before the scheduled delivery. So he had hopped onto the roof and set himself to chain smoking. Dropping down once to buy a carton before climbing back up. It wasn't until afternoon that he spotted it. Men in cloaks gathering in secret. Honestly the cloaks were more suspicious than just normal attire. He was about to drop down on them and deal with it when a kid he didn't recognize entered one end holding a seal he recognized for shinobi arts. He would stroke the stubble on his chin as he took another drag of his smoke and leaned against the edge of the roof looking over them. A shinobi in the slums? Was the kid looking for trouble? Either way it would be nice to see how he dealt with numerous armed opponents.

Tkamaru blinked a second by while he waited for the response to his question. In hindsight that was probably a mistake. For a few more moments the two groups continued to stare at each other. The young ninja was beginning to get frustrated, then he remembered that these were still civilians, perhaps they would listen. “Lay down all of your arms and come with me peacefully.” Another moment. Then they all turned and ran down the opposite alleyway. The Sumiko sighed as he chased after them. His arms still tense as he held his hand seal. His mind immediately flew through ways on how to stop them, then, settling on one, he set his plan into motion.

Three immaterial clones appeared a couple steps ahead of him and two to his sides. The five clones rushed ahead of him. Climbing the walls over their targets, their patterns organized and perfectly thought through. Landing on the opposite side of them in an line, all five stared dead ahead and began weaving a series of hand signs. Out of fear, the small group scrambled to turn around and confront the lone Sumiko, for against but one ninja their odds would be greater right? Not, quite. Tkamaru channeled his chakra, holding out half of the ram hand seal. The area around him blazed with heat and shimmered before erupting into ten spheres of light, illuminating the dark alleyway. They manifested in a loose ring around the Sumiko before flying out and rearranging themselves in a ring around the crowd of seven. Although they were relatively close Tkamaru had no fear in the distance between them. He did however keep his clones there, frozen in place, staring intently at the their targets as they continued their shuffling their hand. Just in case one or two of them managed to escape.

“Now, as I was saying, you will come with me, and we will-”

“-Please don’t send me away I won’t survive in prison!”

Tkamaru tilted his head, confused. “Nonetheless you’ll-” He started, only to be caught off by more laments and pleas. Each time they’d interject his own sayings, leaving them at a rather awkward phase where the young ninja couldn’t get anything out and was constantly bombarded with whining and wailing. He bit his lip trying to keep hold of his irritation, but because he was so focused on the conversation, he was slow to react. Something that his guests had picked up faster than he did. Using the conversation and his own angry against him, two of them took the opportunity to slip under his ring of fire and pull out a few kunai. As soon as Tkamaru had caught this it was already too late. They reached back and threw them forward. Time seemed to slow down but the ninja was still as helpless as ever. He was forced to release his jutsu and bring both his arms to block.

It was his own fault really, but he should have remembered to bring his ninja gear. Unfortunately he wore only his normal attire. A painful reminder to him when  his arms were bleeding from multiple kunai wounds. They had stuck into the flesh of his arms, forcing him to pull them out while he backed up. Meanwhile the shock of behind attacked also disrupted his concentration and now his clones have vanished. Leaving him alone with seven other heavily armed people. It was at this point, he knew he **** up. It was also right after that moment, when the other five people were free, that they pulled out their own weapons and walked towards the defenseless Sumiko.

“Parley?”

110/150:
Name: Doppelganger Technique (影分身の術 ~ Bunshin no Jutsu)
Canon/Custom: Canon.
Rank: E.
Type: Supplementary.
Element: None.
Range: Clones can go up to 15 meters away from the user before dispersing.
Specialty: Ninjutsu.
Duration: Clones last until dissipated or cancelled.
Cooldown: Five posts after all clones are dispersed.
Description: Using this technique, the user can create up to five intangible clones
that appear physically identical to the user; these are created within 3
meters of the caster. The clones do not disturb the area around them,
don't have shadows or body heat, and as such, in applicable situations,
ninja can pick them out with varying difficulty. The clone has no
physical form, and as such cannot attack. When any foreign presence
passes through the clone, be it physical (a fist, a rock, a sword) or an
opponent's jutsu, the clone will dissipate. It's mainly used to help
mask the user, helping them attack an opponent who is superior at
dodging. It costs 5 chakra to create clones.

Name: Ephemeral Touch of Blazing Wisps
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: C-rank
Type: Offensive | Defensive
Element: Shakuton
Range: 6 meter radius
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: Maintainable | -5 per post
Cooldown: Duration + 1 posts
Description: Costs 15 chakra to activate, and 5 to maintain.

Holding the half of the ram hand seal, ten bright baseball sized orbs of red and orange flames appear around the user in a loose ring formation. Each are capable of minor 2nd degree burns on contact which spread out 1 inch from the initial touch. Tkamaru is able to remotely control each of these with his mind, in a 6 meter radius from him, at 15m/s.

Despite the burning capacity of each of these flaming orbs, each are able able to be destroyed with D-rank weaponry if struck head on, with each of these orbs having E-rank durability, four of them are capable of blocking and destroying D-rank jutsu. (Eight in the case of suiton). However so long as at least one of these orbs remain intact Tkamaru can create more of them, a perfect copy seemingly emerging from the existing orbs. Meaning that, as long as there is at least 1 of these blazing orbs still burning, Tkamaru can create more orbs from it at the cost of -5 chakra per duplicate. Up to a maximum of the original ten.

Ryu would lean down and look the kid over. He was skinny but lanky. He could have some nice reach in a fight. Still though the way he held himself was entirely out of place around here. Almost regal in nature. As if he was considering himself some sort of proper individual in a den of criminals. It seemed fairly boring but the issue he was finding with it was the fact that he had no back up he could see or sense, he held no weapons, and he wasn't utilizing the element of surprise. Not to mention his stance was lacking. He could almost bet this kid was a fairly fresh genin. Interesting that they would let him into the slums without a care. Not that it mattered. A shinobi wouldn't find too much trouble in the slums if they had the training from the academy. Though this lot was more well armed than he had recalled. Perhaps they thought it would help against him. Either way he figured this was worth observing. If this shinobi wrecked this lot he wouldn't have to step in himself. Though he had wrecked them himself before. They still came back better armed than the last time.

Still he was interested in this kid. Most didn't care for his slums enough to help in any way. Not even to uphold the law. The slums were usually on their own with their own. The innocent tossed in with the cruel. It was a boiling pot of suffering. Still this was a genin on his own. He sighed and decided he would keep the kid from dying anyway. Still the moment he announced himself the lot turned and ran away. Charging down the alley in an attempt to flee. Ryu considered stopping them himself but was far more interested in the kids tactic. So he waited and watched as the kid produced clones and tilted his head. From his perspective he could tell they were illusions since there was no shadow but the thugs he was after was unlikely to know to look for it. Still the control he exhibited over it was impressive. Well coordinated and landing where they were supposed to. It was effective. He just needed to follow up before they could react. Instead Ryu was disappointed yet again as the kid chose to speak. Once more wasting an opportunity. Once more giving them an opening.

So he watched and as expected they lured him into a sense of frustration and distracted him before attacking. He watched as the inexperience showed and the kid dropped his jutsu and blocked with his arms. Catching blades into his flesh and drawing blood. As if on que the others sensed the weakness and seemed to be charging him. With a sigh Ryu tapped the stone wall twice and let his chakra run into the wall down into the ground. There the two lines split and moved to either end of the alley before arching along the ground. There two separate walls rose bringing the alley into a pit. With the shinobi and the group inside now reeling back in confusion. With a step Ryu dropped down to land heel first on the wall and then dropped down to sit cross legged on top of the thin stone. Looking at the shinobi below. His blue eye almost shining in the shadow of the alley.

"Now now kid. You are going about this all wrong. Innocent little shits, they don't run or carry that many knives. This lot is up to no good and you know it. They ain't gonna go peacefully either. Now, they know they can't take me but this here, its your fight. Show them something they won't forget. Remember, those blades are just useless chunks of metal if they can't touch you."

As luck would have it, fate had decided to intervene in the Sumiko’s downfall. Before the bastards could catch him deep tremors set them off course. In moments a massive wall was erected between him and his adversaries. Judging by the panicked reactions of those on the other side, they were trapped in. Tkamaru heaved a breathy sigh before opting to lay on the ground. Gazing at the sky in sheer relief. That was, until another voice shook him out of his reverie. He bolted into a sitting position and found who had saved him. A mess of hair and a rather large frame. They were quite the mysterious ones yes. The next few words that fell from their mouth weren’t quite what he was expecting. They were scolding him! Who did they think they were!? As tempting as it was to grab one of the fallen kunai and throw it at the stranger, they had a point. This was his fight, his mission to complete. He could deal with the strange man later. The incessant buzz behind his brain was probably preventing him from thinking clearly, because if he had stopped to think about it he would have probably asked himself, ‘How did they know how to cast ninjutsu?’ As it were though he simply dismissed it and focused on his task.

The young ninja swept his legs under him, up to the front then down the back, ending up in a push-up stance before pushing himself up into a crouch. “Fine, but just stay out of the way this time? I don’t need to be saved twice.” Tkamaru growled, rising to his full height. Promptly reaching down, grabbing two kunai in one swoop. He threw one into the palm of the other before scaling the wall. Now, although they caught him off guard before, this time he wasn’t going to hold anything back. He swore they were going to make them pay, and thanks to the help of a certain someone they weren’t going to go anywhere. When he reached the top of the stone wall enclosing his targets he counted each with careful deliberation. Still seven.

“Do you know how much these clothes cost!? You’re going to pay for every one of these blood stains!” He roared, charging down the side of the wall. The ninja tuned out his victim’s reactions to him, completely set on the task before him. Roughly halfway down the wall he charged his left hand with chakra, five thin chakra strings wrapping around the hilt of his kunai. With as much force as he could muster he threw it straight into the chest of the first person closest to him. The shot soared, pinning the cloak they wore to their skin as a short shout ripped from their throat. He didn’t have time to process this development as he leaped from the wall and brought his legs up. Kicking the sap straight on the hilt of the kunai as well as their shoulder. He yanked the kunai out and tugged on the strings, whipping the ninja knife in a diagonal slash against another. To their credit he had another knife out to defend himself and the managed not to scream, always room to fix that. Quickly closing the distance between the two of them he ducked under their arms, firmly grabbing it, just like had practiced before. In his hand he twisted it around and behind their back before jutting the elbow up hard enough to hear a crack, and the agonized screams and sobs of cloaked figure. When he let go he yanked the weapon back before the unfortunate sap could fall to the ground and impale himself further. The collection of kunai and blades he was hiding slide out of their respective pockets as they hit the ground, more pitiful sobs racking the poor soul.

Oh but he wasn’t done. Although he was starting to tire himself out he still had to guarantee his victory. Two would not be enough. The other five were smart enough to bring out their weapons and group up opposite of him. Slowly he leaned down and selected three more kunai, placing each in his right hand, never breaking eye contact. He extended the puppet technique to his other hand. Connecting himself to the kunai. He let go and the kunai dangled from his hand, banging against each other like small wind chimes. The haunting echo of metal on metal reverberated throughout the alleyway. He briefly glanced to the man watching it all from the comfort of his walls. From what he had said Tkamaru could expect no help from him, in fact he requested it. “Good.”

He sprung into action. Twirling the kunai to the side as he ran, as if it was a pinwheel. At this point they threw their knifes and tried to back into the corners with panicked whines and yells. The young ninja sidestepped quickly, left then right and left and right, the motion closely resembling skipping. All the while he kept twirling the kunai in a consistent circle. Suddenly he leapt forward and brought all four kunai down in an arc on top on the head of one of the . The force of the strike was enough to stun them while he dealt with the one next to him. They took a stance and delivered a swift right punch towards Tkamaru. He ducked to the his right shoving the other cloaked figure into the wall, head slamming against the stone. In the side of his sight he could see them cradling their heads as they whimpered in pain. His current opponent tried another punch and Tkamaru ducked. Above him he could hear the crack of knuckles and instantly knew that they had struck the wall. Taking advantage of the this he thrust out a kick right between their legs. Sending them sprawling to the ground, crawling away.

The ninja sighed heavily and turned to face the others. He was honestly surprised when they were kneeling with their hands up. “Please, we surrender.” They pleaded. Again and again they begged him to cease his violence. He let the chakra strings fall, the kunai in his right hand with it. The one in his left however was kept firmly in his grasp. He nodded to them and turned his attention to the wall. Sprinting up the side, he was eager to see the reaction of the man who had stayed back. When Tkamaru had reached the top he walked towards the stranger, trying to hide how out of breath he was, the sweat he could do nothing to hide though. “So, whaddya think? Should we get someone to take them away, or you think they’ll escort themselves there?” He huffed out, a weak joke but given his exhaustion he couldn’t expect much could you?

105/150:

Name: Puppet Technique (Kugutsu no Jutsu ~ 傀儡の術)
Canon/Custom: Canon.
Rank: E.
Type: Supplementary.
Element: None.
Range: 30m.
Specialty: Kugutsu.
Duration: -5 per post
Cooldown: Duration +1 post.
Description: This jutsu generates long, fibrous, malleable chakra strings from each of the user's fingers. They are partially intangible to prevent tangling; this jutsu cannot be used to bind people. The condensed chakra takes a hue of variable color depending on the user. Use of this technique on puppets is only available to those with the Kugutsu specialty. However, people without skill in Puppetry can still generate chakra strings to control weapons they have the specializations to wield, within 30m. This consists of whipping them around like a flail or yo-yo, or controlling their path of travel when thrown. Unless durability is enhanced by a separate technique, these chakra strings can be broken by any D rank technique that causes blunt force, cutting, or piercing damage.

This technique cannot control living people; it can only control corpses, or Human Puppets currently in the user's locker.

3 Types of Strings:
The following applies not to the rank of the jutsu, but rather the rank and the skill level of the user.

Multiple control:
The chakra strings at this rank are more tailored to controlling the base functions of many puppets as opposed to putting an astounding amount of effort into the control of few. Using this technique depending on the user's rank they are able to control up to 10 puppets, though the trade off is each of them operate at the user's speed and reaction time, -1 rank. (Stat increases from items and jutsu do not count towards this. However, those from clans do.)

E rank = 2 puppets
D rank = 3
C rank = 4
B rank = 6
A rank = 8
S rank = 9
SS rank = 10

Balanced Control:
Using more focused control on the puppets the user wields they are able to focus more into their puppets movement, and therefore they no longer receive the negative influence to their speed that the mass control strings had. However, the puppets still receive -1 to reaction time and less puppets are able to operate at this capacity per rank.
E-C rank = Max of 2 puppets
B-A rank 4
S-SS rank = 5

Focused control:
The user, with these strings, is able to literally control their puppets with such mastery as if they were basically human themselves. The concentration at this level requires they dedicate themselves into only one or two puppets, but they operate without any negatives what so ever, and move at the user's speed and reaction times.
E-C rank = 1 Puppet max
B-SS rank = 2

It would seem his jutsu got a reaction from the boy and now held his attention. The panic of the moment from being suddenly caught off guard and overwhelmed was finished with. It took a small moment and a bit of shock but he had that second to breath. Ryu looked on as the pieces began to fit together for the young man. As they began to fall into place and his mind caught up to the situation. Even as Ryu spoke he could see the wheels of irritation forming in the kids mind. So he didn't like being challenged much eh? Well that was a good trait to have. It meant he would try and rise again and again. If one hated falling they would learn to rise time and time again until nothing kept them off their feet. So it was this bleeding kid on the ground showed suprising agility as he flipped himself from his back to his front and pushed up off the ground. Arming himself at that. In that moment Ryu couldn't help but smirk. Such youth in this kid. And such pride at that. He certainly would make an interesting one to watch. It just depended on if it was all show or if there was some teeth to this tiger cub.

The kid scaled the wall easily enough and grumbled about Ryu staying out of his way this time. The boy making a point about not needing to be saved twice. Oh well that was an interesting take on the situation. It only made Ryu grin more. Pride was something he could understand. Even from the main village there were those who could fight. Those who would fight. This was one of them. A boy but soon to be a warrior. One couldn't help but admire him. Still he would only shift himself a little as the boys battle cry was simply about ruined clothes. Adrenaline was likely kicking in and ignoring some pain. Ryu could smell the blood from this close from the wounds the kid had. Not life threatening but numerous. He would sit with his back rested against the wall with his left leg dangling down and his right knee up with his boot against the top of the wall. His left hand held his smoke as he rose it to his lips while his right hand rested on his knee. Fingers tapping impatiently. It was time for a show.

The use of puppet strings for a controlled projectile was an interesting move. Well done at an academy level. Still he wondered if the kid didn't have any jutsu yet for a mass attack. Something to wipe them all out at once. It was common for even genin to have jutsu of a non lethal level for these situations. Just how fresh of a shinobi was this kid? It hardly mattered though. Ryu had barely finished half his smoke when the kid moved between them like liquid. Turning their strikes against them with the surroundings and attacking vulnerable points with blades. Taking out the one with the most weapons and re-arming himself for a second assault. Or rather a third. He hadn't gotten much further before the lot of them seemed to lay down their weapons and surrender. With that done the kid would seem rather pleased with himself. Climbing back up the wall with the physical work out taking an obvious toll on him. He questioned Ryu on what he thought and Ryu glanced at him with a shining blue eye. Looking him over before speaking his own mind on the matter.

"You did well against your average group of common thugs. However your body is still slow and needs to be trained. It appears your not aware yet of the limits of a shinobi's body. I assure you, its far greater than this lots."

As for the question of what to do with them. Ryu would slip off the wall into the pit. Placing his right hand in his pocket and his smoke in his lips. Reaching out to lay his palm on the wall as chakra arced out and the far wall was shattered. Crumbling to the sand it once was from. Doton was a simple chakra nature to control but it usually required some form of contact. Still with a shift of his leg he kicked the fallen to the group still standing with no ceremony. Only speaking when he was finished. "You lot, leave your weapons here and go home to treat your allies. If you lash out against me again, I will bury you alive. This is two strikes out of three. Don't **** with me again." With that he looked to the kid even as the group dropped their gear and scrambled to help the wounded out of there. Now he stood between the shinobi and those he intended to imprison. Letting them go. His blue eye looking to meet the kids gaze.

"You should head to a clinic yourself. Get those wounds looked at before they get infected. With that said, if you want to improve, Head to a hounds heaven when you recover. You can find me there."

The Sumiko had expected a bit more praise than, ‘you did well.’ That by far was one of his best performances yet. Though he was right about them being thugs. A shocking revelation hit him, sending cold chills throughout his blood. He had completely forgotten that these were ordinary civilians, armed to the brim with knives, but perhaps Tkamaru went overboard. Although when he looked down at his own tattered clothes his worries dissipated. He couldn’t worry about either of those right now, right now he had to slow down his breathing. The genin took large deep breaths as he listened to what his mysterious ally had to say, finding himself a nice spot to sit down and relax. He accepting their advice. At least the bits he could make over the white static in his head.

When the other man had leaped off the wall Tkamaru’s eyes followed him curiously as he slouched forward. After their swift landed the Sumiko could see when they placed a palm flat against the wall and Tkamaru had the sneaking suspicion that he better get off. The genin hastily gathered himself and pounced to the right wall defining the alleyway they were in. His chakra kept him suspended against the sandstone as he began to jump-climb down to the bottom and meet with the others there. He landed with a light thud at the final jump, right in the middle of whatever scolding his ally was dishing out. From the context, it seemed that they had encountered these people before. Tkamaru blinked when they opted to let the people go. Hastily the seven cloaked knife throwing weasels packed up and left. Little sign of their presence shown in the dirty alley paths. Though he probably should’ve, the ninja really bring himself to care enough to hunt them down. He was bleeding, needed a new change of clothes, and exhausted he probably wouldn’t be able to get all of them to the jail even if he tried. Tkamaru only gave a shrug and a tired glance to his associate before acknowledging with a grunt.

“Yea, I think you’re right. I’ll get to heading over to the clinic of something soon enough, and maybe I’ll even take you up on that training offer. Thanks for your help by the way.” He laughed before turning back. Handing them a backwards wave as he stumbled toward the closest clinic, placing distance between him and the slums.

Special Jounin
Ryu would listen to the kid as he talked before turning to walk the other way. It appeared he was a smart lad. Something that spoke volumes for a shinobi was survival instinct. He was bleeding and even though they were too his wounds might keep him from actually making it out of the slums with them in tow even if Ryu didn't attempt to stop him. That wasn't to say that the rest of the slums wouldn't if only to stick it to a shinobi bringing in some of their own. An interesting predicament for them to be sure. Still Ryu could only nod a moment before letting the kid wander off. If he was truly a survivor and a fighter there were things Ryu could teach him to improve. Though he wouldn't be heading to the village to look the for kid it didn't mean he would turn the kid away should he come looking for something. He wasn't entirely sure why but he liked him. Even for a shinobi the kid had some promise as a thug. Ryu would smirk a moment before turning back to the alley after the kid was long gone. He had his own business to attend to.

He would move around the alley and collect the fallen weapons into a sack made out of one of the guys cloaks he had lost during the fight. Stopping as he collected one particular blade to examine the hilt as something caught his eye. He had been wondering how this lot managed to get so many weapons with no coin and no resources to speak of. No real connections to anyone. The answer of course was a simple one. Though low quality the weapons had been made specifically to take on that appearance. Nothing for a blacksmith to be proud of but this particular knife was slightly better than the others. On the bottom of it was an emblem Ryu recognized. One of the gangs to the west specialized in the trade and distribution of weapons. One of the two closest to the eastern slums. So it appeared they had taken some interest in his territory after all. Arming his enemies against him if only to cause disruption and chaos for his operations. An interesting form of sabotage. His eye shifted to look west as if the buildings weren't there as he stared towards it. How interesting was this timing?

Ryu would toss it into the sack with the rest of the weapons and tie the top of it before turning to return to his bar. Even if they were attempting to sabotage his operations there was a way to slip this up and flip it to his advantage. They wanted to arm his enemies but if he took them down without any negative results, he could collect a nice bounty of weapons. So as he returned to his bar he would set the sack on a table. Informing one of his men to distribute the weapons to any of the men in need of weapons still. IF they thought arming his enemies would be enough to disrupt his operations and put him down a notch they were wrong. They were only arming his forces even more. There was no loss of control here but rather a gain. Not only that but Ryu intended to flaunt these new weapons with his men. Let the other kings in the west come to their own conclusions. perhaps the weapons smith was paying off a new ally? If so their attentions would turn to him and new problems would arise for the man. Wonderful.
