D-rank
CHIHARU MISSIONS

D-Ranks
Any Port in a Storm:

Mission name: Information Gathering: Any Port in a Storm
Mission rank: D-rank
Objective: A shinobi network is only as good as the intel it can gather.
Location: Kaminari no Kuni | Chiharu
Reward: 150 ryo
Mission Description: The port of Chiharu is an important section of the city as it imports and exports goods from across the world. It is therefore vulnerable to smugglers and illegal traffic which might harm the Land of Lightning. Your job is to monitor its trade and report any potential harm.
Mission Details: 750 wc
The following situation may occur, but remember: your duty is only one of reporting, not one of intervening.
- You found nothing unusual.
- An unusual high/low amount of goods have been imported/exported, off the books.
- You spotted criminal gang activity 'coming to an agreement' on the docks.
- Illegal goods have been smuggled in and are being prepared for internal transport.
- Unregistered chakra-conductive metal is being shipped.
Market Mayhem:

Mission name: Information Gathering: Market Mayhem
Mission rank: D-rank
Objective: A shinobi network is only as good as the intel it can gather.
Location: Kaminari no Kuni | Chiharu
Reward: 150 ryo
Mission Description: The market place is a busy area that invites many to spend some time. Customers, traders, thieves and unusual trinkets; all of them will offer or find a hand to seal the deal. Your job is to monitor its trade and report any potential harm.
Mission Details: 750 wc
The following situation may occur, but remember: your duty is only one of reporting, not one of intervening.
- Nothing unusual occurs.
- An unusual or otherwise known dangerous trinket has been spotted.
- A missing-nin has been spotted.
- Thieves guild activity has been exceptionally high lately.
- Criminal gangs have been gaining power.
The Black Market:

Mission name: Information Gathering: The Black Market
Mission rank: D-rank
Objective: A shinobi network is only as good as the intel it can gather.
Location: Kaminari no Kuni | Chiharu
Reward: 150 ryo
Mission Description: The Black Market is an illegal trading hub not easily found or entered. While this is preferably eliminated as per Daimyo laws, it is simply not feasible to do so in reality. Monitoring this illicit area is therefore rather necessary.
Mission Details: 750 wc
The following situation may occur, but remember: your duty is only one of reporting, not one of intervening.
- The usual contraband is being smuggled, so nothing out of the ordinary happened.
- A new player in the criminal world has showed up.
- Humans or Human Puppets are being smuggled.
- Exceptionally dangerous venoms or artefacts are being transferred.

C-Ranks
Eavesdropping :

Location: Kaminari no Kuni | Chiharu
Reward: 300 ryo
Mission Description: You received intel about a secretive gathering which is about to take place. Trouble is, if you're not one of them, then you're against them. And they do know who's part of their gang. So stay unseen and listen in on what they're trying to hide. Do not intervene.
Mission Details: 1500 wc, must have a C-rank (or higher) Stealth technique
- The gathering is protected by D-rank Sensory jutsu. Without the proper Stealth, you'll get caught.

Location: Kaminari no Kuni | Chiharu
Reward: 300 ryo
Mission Description: Sometimes, the best approach to gather information is by being in the thick of it. Disguise yourself with proper means and blend in with the environment.
Mission Details: 1500 wc, must have a C-rank (or higher) Transformation technique.
- The household is protected by D-rank Sensory effects. Without the proper transformations, you'll get caught.
- As part of future plans, you need to infiltrate into the household of a noble and monitor his activity, investigate their personal journals and discover indiscriminate evidence of their illicit dealings. Do not take anything away; merely pass on what you find.
X marks the spot:

Mission name: Way of the Shinobi: X marks the spot
Mission rank: C-rank
Objective: It's hard to remain unnoticed in a busy place such as Chiharu. Certainly when you're trying to get your hands on sensitive intel.
Location: Kaminari no Kuni | Chiharu
Reward: 300 ryo
Mission Description: Sometimes the toughest jobs are the simplest. You need to check a storage facility where goods have been stored. We have intel some of the crates contain illegal weapons. It's your job to get inside, find those crates, mark them, and get away again. No violence, no discovery.
Mission Details: 1500 wc, must have a C-rank (or higher) Stealth technique.
- The crates are guarded by regular patrols walking in groups of 2/3 people. Do not knock them out or kill them.
- D-rank Sensory across the storage facility will discover the unprepared and alert the patrols.

Missions requested by Daremo:
- Guanyin Plot [TBD]
- Pestilence Plot [WIP]

C Rank - The Haunting Cold (Repeatable):

Mission name: The Haunting Cold
Mission rank: C
Objective: Get rid of the haunting spectres
Location: Any
Reward: 300 ryo
Mission Description: An influential presence is aware of your existence and desires to see it extinguished.
Mission Details: 1500 wc
Not all proud warriors find rest in death. Many linger in the Otherworld in hopes to find a second chance to redeem themselves for their failure in defeating their enemies. A greater soul has granted them that chance, sending them out to take you down. Disperse the handful (5) spectres before they take away the warmth of your life.

Name: Spectre Warrior
Age: ??
General Appearance: [x]
Personality: Deranged, driven, relentless, undead.
Goals: Relive the past and slay the opponent in hopes to finally find peace.
Abilities:
C-0 stats across the board
B rank bukijutsu, B rank Hyouton, Fuuton, Suiton
Physical attacks have their damage reduced by 1 rank.
Items: B rank spectre blade. The cold emanating from this blade leaves major 1st degree frostburn wounds behind upon contact. It can't be parried by non-chakra infused weapons.

B Rank - Revenant (Repeatable):

Mission name: Revenant
Mission rank: B
Objective: Get rid of the haunting spectres
Location: Any
Reward: 500 ryo
Mission Description: An influential presence is aware of your existence and desires to see it extinguished.
Mission Details: 2500 wc
Stronger than mere spectres, whatever presence is out to snuff your life has send in heavier units this time. Revenants, while far and few in existence, never truly die. Upon dispersion, it is only a matter of time before they return to existence where they were dispersed. Being good fighters and eternally bound to return to the battlefield, these creatures are easily one of the most dangerous spirits the Otherworld knows. Two spectres have found you this time. Defeat them (for now...) and continue on your road.

Name: Revenant Wraith
Age: ??
General Appearance: [x]
Personality: Deranged, driven, relentless, undead.
Goals: Revenant - "a person who has returned". Some spectres simply do not seek salvation nor death. They simply are, their only desire to remain and return. Over. And over. And over again.
Abilities:
Strength: B-3, Endurance: B-2, Speed: B-0, Perception: B-0, Reaction: B-2
A rank bukijutsu, fuinjutsu. A rank Hyouton, Fuuton, Suiton
Physical attacks have their damage reduced by 1 rank.
Items: A rank spectre blade. The cold emanating from this blade leaves major 2nd degree frostburn wounds behind upon contact. It can't be parried by non-chakra infused weapons.
B Rank - Breath of Winter (One-Time):

Mission name: Breath of Winter
Mission rank: B
Objective: One of the Sourcerer of Pestilence's minions cursed you. Find her and undo the curse you're suffering from.
Location: Any
Reward: 500 ryo

Mission Description: Every participant has been cursed and suffers a growing sickness that imposes a -1 tier penalty to their stats across the board, as well as limiting them in using jutsu - they only have access to techniques up to their own shinobi rank (B rank shinobi can use up to B rank jutsu). How or when this curse was applied remains the question, but the chakra used for this leaves no doubt - only one person in the underground is known to deal in the arts of vodun to such a degree: Nimhain. Track her down and force her to undo the curse that debilitates you.

Successfully removing the curse requires one to do one of the following:
- Persuade Nimhain to undo the ritual
- Kill Nimhain, but have jutsu of a rank higher than your shinobi rank be sealed permanently.

Mission Details: 2500 wc
The curse came into existence since Nimhain is in possession of your DNA, given to her by attackers, thieves, messengers... Through a dark and taxing ritual, an effigy has been combined with that DNA, Nimhain's chakra and her own Hiden jutsu, causing the curse to grab hold of you until undone.

Hidden in a dark alcove, Nimhain is not easily found. Aside from having to navigate the black market, one will be dissuaded from reaching her on several occasions - kindly, or with force (a total of 5 people, B-0 stats). Should the shinobi surpass this, they will need B-0 perception and Genjutsu Kai (or an appropriate sensory technique) to dispel the chakra that hides her alcove from sight.

Name: Yobadashi Niamhain
Age: 63
General Appearance: [x]
Personality: Niamhain is an older woman who enjoys her art to its fullest rather than being inherently evil. For the right price, she performs vodun rituals on a target of choice to either grant them boons or make them suffer ill fortune. Her old age makes her unfit for combat, so despite having B-0 stats she is not inclined to pursue such a path. However, old women are stubborn and know what they want. Indulge her request and she'll undo the curse without complaint.
Goals: Doing her job :3
Abilities: A rank Ninjutsu, Fuinjutsu & Iryojutsu
Items: A ritualistic dagger, plenty of needles and effigies.
B Rank - Gate to the Otherworld (One-Time):

Mission name: Gate to the Otherworld
Mission rank: B
Objective: Open the Gate to the Otherworld
Location: Any wilderness
Reward: 500 ryo

Mission Description: Circles of standing stones have always kindled the imagination of visitors, but occultists know that the silent thrum of their natural chakra is actually the dormant pathway to the Otherworld. Unfortunately, lost are the secrets to open this Gate. Through meditation you must rediscover the Seals and unseal the gate that allows the living into the Otherworld.

Mission Details: 2500 wc, requires B+ rank Fuinjutsu to Unseal
While the Fuinjutsu Specialist meditates to discover the lost Seals, he will be assaulted by spectres that will try to prevent him from maintaining his meditation. Each round, five spectres will appear to disturb the meditation. While clones may be a temporary solution, having a couple of battle-ready friends might be even better.

Name: Spectre Warrior
Age: ??
General Appearance: [x]
Personality: Deranged, driven, relentless, undead.
Goals: Relive the past and slay the opponent in hopes to finally find peace.
Abilities:
C-0 stats across the board
B rank bukijutsu, B rank Hyouton, Fuuton, Suiton
Physical attacks have their damage reduced by 1 rank.
Items: B rank spectre blade. The cold emanating from this blade leaves major 1st degree frostburn wounds behind upon contact. It can't be parried by non-chakra infused weapons.

A Rank - The Headless Horseman (Repeatable):

Mission name: The Headless Horseman
Mission rank: A
Objective: A powerful Otherworldly knight challenges you to a duel.
Location: Any
Reward: 1000 ryo
Mission Description: The Four Horseman of the Apocalypse are quite well known. Few know that the Horsemen have been defeated and replaced several times throughout time. Those former/defeated Horsemen now roam the Otherworld in search of the crown they once wore as a testament of their power. Anyone they suspect sharing a similar quest gets challenged for a duel to the death.

Mission Details: 3500 wc

Name: Headless Horseman
Age: ??
General Appearance: [x]
Personality: Powerful, driven, corrupt.
Goals: Reclaim their former position as one of the Four Horsemen
Abilities:
Strength: S-0, Endurance: S-0, Speed: S-3, Perception: A-0, Reaction: S-0
S rank ninjutsu, bukijutsu, taijutsu. S rank raiton, katon, doton, fuuton.
Items: One A rank scythe (two-handed), One A rank blade (one-handed), three A rank javelins (throwing), S-0 strength hooves. The weapons cleave through flesh and bone without problem.
A Rank - We are Legion (Repeatable):

Mission name: We are Legion
Mission rank: A
Objective: Get through the masses
Location: Any
Reward: 1000 ryo
Mission Description: If you thought facing spectres in the world of the living was bad, you've seen nothing yet. The Otherworld is much like the Living world. A world where spirits dwell, a mimic-mockery of the Living world. The strong rule the weak, the powerful command the lesser. As you draw closer to the Source that seeks to destroy you, you begin to understand how influential this being truly is.
Mission Details: 3500 wc
The masses of spectres is not as organised as a band of samurai or a collective of shinobi but that doesn't mean their power is any lesser. The participants will be assaults by fifty (50) spectre warriors, twenty (20) revenant wraiths and two (2) Legion generals. Defeat as many as needed to impose your superiority, but do know 'fear' is not a word written in their dictionary!

Personality: Deranged, driven, relentless, undead.
Goals: Relive the past and slay the opponent in hopes to finally find peace.
Abilities:

Physical attacks have their damage reduced by 1 rank.
Items: A rank spectre blade. The cold emanating from this blade leaves major 2nd degree frostburn wounds behind upon contact. It can't be parried by non-chakra infused weapons.

Name: Legion General
Age: ??
General Appearance: [x]
Personality: Focused, authoritarian, tactical, powerful.
Goals: Rule the meek and crush the fools.
Abilities:
A-0 stats across the board
S rank ninjutsu, bukijutsu & genjutsu. S rank raiton.
Physical attacks have their damage reduced by 1 rank.
Items: Five B rank ethereal spears. Aligned to Yin-raiton chakra, these spears sear through flesh and crack bone as life itself burns away upon contact. Created from pure Otherworld energy, anything not-infused with chakra is unable to stop these weapons. In addition, each of these spears vanish at the end of the round they were thrown and return to their owner at the beginning of their next round.

S Rank - Taking the Crown of Pestilence (One-Time):

Mission name: Taking the Crown of Pestilence
Mission rank: S
Objective: Destroy Zarazal and take the title of 'Source of Pestilence' for yourself.
Location: Any
Reward: 2000 ryo
Mission Description: Don't you understand the slow decay caused by pestilence is a form of art to cherish? Obviously... you don't. Zarazal is tired of you meddling with his affairs and has finally decided to deal with you personally. Finding him in the Otherworld, the Sourcerer of Pestilence awaits you in his own throne room, the heart of his operations.
Mission Details: Requires 5000 wc to complete.
The throne room of Zalazar is as cold as himself ([x]. It boasts plenty of space for a proper duel, the architecture beautiful despite the lifeless environment of the Otherworld it is located in. Zalazar himself sits on an onyx throne, the black glass-like construct symbolising the empty shells of those mortals destroyed from within by his beautiful infectious arts. Before him stands an altar that serves as his think table and workshop, the shelves hidden by the white cloth harbouring dozens of vials with different experimental diseases. Before you may fight him, he will send in his five Vassals to deal with you. Should you survive their necrotic touch, then... and only then... will Zalazar consider you worthy to be destroyed by his hands.

Name: Zarazal, Sourcerer of Pestilence
Age: ??
General Appearance: [x]
Personality: Cold, morbid. Most of the time he doesn't bother with 'mortals' as he continues to develop new means and magics to spread pestilence. When not working on evolution of pestilence, he is observing his masterwork lay waste to villages as they creep onto the frailties of humanity, slowly but steadily devouring life. Zarazal is considered the source of the Black Plague, and profiles as a sorcerer - hence, Sourcerer.
Goals: Finding the ultimate evolving disease to lay waste upon all life
Abilities:
Strength: S-0, Endurance: SS-0, Speed: S-0, Perception: S-3, Reaction: S-3
S rank ninjutsu, iryojutsu, bukijutsu & taijutsu. S rank doton, fuuton, suiton and raiton.
Items:
- A rank cloak "Shroud of Pestilence", a high quality cloak of shifting black hues with the ability to reduce the effectiveness of destructive Iryojutsu against him by 1 rank. The cloak comes with a fitting cowl for added mystery. A beautiful accessory.
- A rank naginata "Staff of the Ephemeral", serving both as a symbol of power and his preferred weapon of choice, the naginata slices through flesh and bone alike. A swift kind of death Zarazal generally avoids using as it ruins the effects of his devouring masterworks. The staff is able to boost a technique by 1 rank (2/thread).
- A rank pale horse "Marrow". A loyal mount whose fear has been killed since long. Afflicted by Zarazal's pestilence since birth, the horse looks emaciated despite its strength and endurance. It has a shady grey body, covered in bleak painting mimicking its skeleton much like it was "Dia de la Muerte". Has A rank stats across the board.

Name: Vassals of Pestilence
Age: ??
General Appearance: [x]
Personality: Devoted, Undead.
Goals: Protecting the true lord, striking down the usurpers, enforcing his dominance
Abilities:
Strength: A-3, Endurance: S-0, Speed: A-0, Perception: A-2, Reaction: A-2
S rank iryojutsu, bukijutsu & taijutsu. S rank doton, fuuton, suiton
Items:
- A rank heavy armour (negates C rank and below basic attacks, lowers damage from A/B rank basic attacks by one rank). The black coloured scale mails are remarkably light while offering great protection. They glisten with a sickening green shimmer.
- A rank two-handed sword, A rank one-handed sword & A rank shield. The swords are made of onyx, strengthened by the chakra running through them. If the ability to cut clean through flesh and bone doesn't suffice, the weapons are able to inflict necrosis on contact with their enemy.

Approved!

Objective: A 'treasure map' revealed the location of a shipwreck that has long since sunk to the bottom of the sea. Explore its remains and see what you can salvage.
Location: Any port/Open sea
Reward: 500 ryo
Mission Description: On the bottom of the sea rests a shipwreck overgrown with algae, serving as a piece of decoration for the fishes that swim around there. You'll be lowered into the ocean with a diving bell but the inaccuracy of the map will require you to take a good swim nonetheless. Naturally, considering the different floors of the ship, the water current and the tightly shut doors, it will take time to swim through the various pieces of the wreck to explore everything.
Mission Details: A rebreather (locker item) or jutsu intended for underwater situations (breathing, moving...) will greatly help you here. While you are diving and exploring the wreck for possible treasures, you'll be attacked by a hungry shark with the following stats:
Str: B-2, Spd: B-2, End: B-0, Per: C-2, Rea: B-0
Storm Ahoy!:

Mission name: Storm Ahoy!
Mission rank: B
Objective: Get your ship through the storm
Location: Any port/Open Sea
Reward: 500 ryo
Mission Description: Too late to avoid the storm, the ship you are on is caught off-guard. While the helmsman is trying his best to keep a safe course despite the weather, the sails must be reefed lest the canvas tears/is ripped off or the mast snaps in case they don't, cargo must be bound solidly, doors must be shut tight. The damage the storm inflicts will require men to pump out water and repair damage as good as possible against the strong current that runs in. At all times, every crew members on deck suffers the risk of being blown off deck or being washed away as giant waves sweep over deck, so some courage and heroism might be needed to save a sea dog or two.
Mission Details:
The storm imposes a -2 tier perception penalty to all participants at all times, and all those not in a 3m radius of someone else is to be considered deaf for speech by the sheer noise of the sea and storm if they don't have a ways to get their voice through. Additionally, the cold winds, the clattering rain and the slippery deck are working on your physique, lowering your endurance and reaction time by 1 tier (stackable) starting on the third post.

A-ranks
#Ship-Rekt:

Mission name: #Ship-Rekt
Mission rank: A
Objective: Survive a lost battle at sea!
Location: Any port
Reward: 1000 ryo
Mission Description: You find your ship (and yourself) assaulted by an impressive naval force (enemy Villages/pirates) at night, fighting a losing battle. The enemy easily counts double the ship firepower and troops to board yours, but you're not about to give in just yet. Before your ship will be sent to the bottom of the ocean, inflict as much damage as you can do, find a means to survive and return to land to deliver your report!
Mission Details:
Your ship is attacked by a fleet. Two ships will board yours, flanking you from both sides. Their firepower will be sufficient to cripple your ship's sails in the first post, denying escape.

During the second and third post the cannons will inflict irreparable damage to the hull, causing the ocean's water to flood the lower deck and starting to pull down the ship. At the same time, two boarding parties will swoop in to wipe out as many of your crew as possible before sending them to the sharks. Take out as many as you can!

The fourth and fifth post, your burning ship will be sinking. In the fourth round, the boarding party will make their way back to their own ships as yours is slowly shifting towards a vertical position. By the fifth post, most if not all enemies will have returned and the ship will stand erect as a candle, burning brightly.

The sixth post, your ship disappears below the waters forever. If you weren't successful in your escape (imprisoned, infiltrated...), you'll be drifting on the sea for days. Maybe you'll drown. Maybe sharks will eat you. Maybe you'll wash ashore somewhere.

Missions are Approved.

Godslayer (Quest) Missions

[Kumogakure Quest Missions]
The tyranny of the False God can't continue. Promises of peace and fathership have been forsaken in his search for power, his believers causing more trouble and damage than should be the case. While shinobi of Kumogakure are dutifully bound to follow his lead, the people quietly pray for salvation of the black storms that since cloud their hope. Will the clouds break as opposition rises?

Varied rank - A Game of Influences:

Mission name: A Game of Influences
Mission rank: C-A rank Quest
Objective: Convince your clan to rise against Hastur
Location: Kumogakure
Reward: 1 EP + 300 ryo (C-rank), 1 EP + 500 ryo (B-rank), 1 EP + 1000 ryo (A-rank)
Mission Description: Convince your clan to join the cause of the Resistance against Hastur. When every clan unites against a common enemy, victory is pretty much assured.
Development References: "Godslayer.", end of Hastur arc
Mission Details: 2000 wc (C-rank), 2500 wc (B-rank), 3500 wc (A-rank)
C-rank: No hostitlies. Try to influence the ruling power(s) in your favour, push your influence or win a game of wits.
B-rank: Minor hostilities. You'll have to take down the current leader, fight a champion or assassinate a present influence working against you. Whichever, their stats are B-2 across the board, B-rank equipment and have two elements/specs of your choice.
A-rank: Better call this a 'Game of Thrones' for blood will be about all there is to pay to get the clan rise up against Hastur. They are indoctrinated, stubborn or afraid and the nail that sticks out gets hammered - you, in other words. Your opponents are members of your own clan with A-0 stats across the board, with A-rank equipment, three specs/elements. There are at least 5 opponents.

C rank - Messenger:

Mission name: Messenger
Mission rank: C-rank Quest
Objective: Rely information without being discovered
Location: Kumogakure
Reward: 1 EP + 300 ryo
Mission Description: The Resistance is rising to take down the self-proclaimed Thunder God Hastur Miyamoto but can't do so openly as this is a direct transgression against Kumo law. So under the guise of night and lack of renown, you are to move from hideout to hideout to rely information.

Development References: "Godslayer.", end of Hastur arc
Mission Details: 2000 wc.
You may be discovered and confronted with shinobi or Jashinists standing with Hastur. Avoid/ditch them, as leaving a trail of corpses is not a healthy business for undercover propaganda operations.

Objective: Provide a hideout with additional resources for their operations.
Location: Kumogakure
Reward: 1 EP + 300 ryo

Development References: "Godslayer.", end of Hastur arc
Mission Details: 3000 wc.
You will be opposed by a squad of chuunin who were patrolling in the neighbourhood. The four members have C-2 stats, two elements of choice and two specs. They have C-rank weapons.
B rank - Preserving Secrecy:

Mission name: Preserving Secrecy
Mission rank: B-rank Quest
Objective: One of the hideouts is under attack! Defend it at all costs.
Location: Kumogakure
Reward: 1 EP + 500 ryo
Mission Description: The Resistance is rising to take down the self-proclaimed Thunder God Hastur Miyamoto but can't do so openly as this is a direct transgression against Kumo law. Development References: "Godslayer.", end of Hastur arc
Mission Details: 3000 wc.
The hideout will be assaulted by two squads of shinobi and Jashinists (2x4 members). Each will have C-2 stats across the board with access to two elements of choice and two specs. While shinobi have C-rank weapons and armour, the Jashinists have a C-rank weapon and are a pain to kill properly.

A rank - Getting the Key Figures:

Mission name: Getting the Key Figures
Mission rank: A-rank Quest
Objective: Even the God has valuable members he relies on more than others. Take one of these key figures out.
Location: Kumogakure
Reward: 1 EP + 1000 ryo
Mission Description: The Resistance is rising to take down the self-proclaimed Thunder God Hastur Miyamoto but can't do so openly as this is a direct transgression against Kumo law. Before we strike at the God himself we need to weaken his defences by taking out important figures so as to disrupt the chain of command.
Development References: "Godslayer.", end of Hastur arc
Mission Details: 4000 wc.
- Your target is at least jounin in prowess. Their stats are A-2 across the board, they have three elements of choice and three specs of choice. They wield A-rank armour and weapons.
- Your target may have a squad (4 members) of their own nearby. Their stats are B-0 across the board, with access to two elements and three specs of choice. They wield B-rank weapons and armour.
A rank - Setting Up Camp:

Mission name: Setting Up Camp
Mission rank: A-rank Quest
Objective: As a (special) jounin, you are given the responsibility to lead small factions of the Resistance in a hit-and-run strategy. This can't be done without a proper base of operations, so build one up to your liking.
Location: Kumogakure
Reward: 1 EP + 1000 ryo
Mission Description: The Resistance is rising to take down the self-proclaimed Thunder God Hastur Miyamoto but can't do so openly as this is a direct transgression against Kumo law.
The Resistance is in need of leaders as much as they need a variety of safe places to plan their strategies. Find a suitable place, use your influence and resources to get it provisioned and start giving your orders for your own strategies.

This mission should easily span several days to get done properly. The difficulty lies in the fact that you are not alone. You'll be leading a dozen of people of varying degrees in skill and need to keep everyone coordinated and undiscovered as you build up the new hideout.
Development References: "Godslayer.", end of Hastur arc
Mission Details: 4000 wc.
Various challenges will rise up:
- members failing missions/tasks, internal conflicts to resolve
- several squads of shinobi, Jashinist and/or rogues needing to be dealt with in the course of time. These have C-3 stats if dealing with 24 members, B-2 stats if dealing with 8 or A-2 stats if dealing with 4 members. They have access to two elements and three specs, and weapons/armour of their stats' rank.
- lack of resources to be found, lacking proper influence to persuade people

All these need actual links for development references.

Messenger and Logistics have rather weak foes with no number assigned. Are these a threat because they're en masse? If not, grant them jutsu.

On For the Resistance, how do you qualify the difficulty of escaping or evading these people? Perception stats? Sensory jutsu?

Sabotage is less difficult combat-wise than the other two missions of its rank. What's the sabotage you need to accomplish and what might impede you from completing it?

Key Figures needs a conditional - can you avoid the extra squad by being quiet, for example?

Setting Up Camp needs static numbers; the variability on the ranks makes the mission trivial if you choose all C-rank ninja, for example.

- Link will be available once the storyline is up since it ties in with the war efforts I heard about.

- Messenger and Logistics were updated with numbers. En masse is the reason, indeed. Also, C-ranks are not supposed to be in lethal danger as per the mission rules so opposition may not be too difficult either.

- For the Resistance has been updated with sensory.

- Sabotage: "Sabotage Jashinist meetings, scramble patrol routes and/or intercept couriers and other communication.". Which one and how many of them is up to the writer's discretion, but I'd say there's sufficient options for people to know what this mission is supposed to sabotage.
The sabotage is impeded by the chuunin squad. I guess their stats are weaker than the opponent of the other missions but they count more numbers. If the four of them know the meaning of teamwork you'll be dealing with four B-rank jutsu in short succession real quick, fighting off debuffs while they harass you, keep you occupied as they heal team members, and more of that combat pragmatism/crazy coordinated team work stuff. While it certainly depends on how hard you want to make this for yourself, I'd say a squad of chuunin should not be taken so lightly.

- Key Figures: condition added.

- Setting up Camp: dropped the C-ranks, added another challenge

- lack of resources to be found, lacking proper influence to persuade people.
- guards patrol the streets with sensory and watch dogs/hawks, granting them B-rank equivalent sensory techniques and B-2 perception. Will you maintain a low profile or will you figure out a way to deal with them through stealth, bribery or death?

Yeah, I don't take a squad of chūnin lightly. But why does another mission have that equivalent squad +4 pseudo-immortal Jashinists? It's a matter of comparative difficulty - what makes this as difficult as that? How can the squad directly interfere with your sabotage?

Messenger, For the Resistance, Logistics, Key Figures, Setting Up Camp are all good.

If I haven't discussed any of the other missions heretofore, they should be good (or I missed something, it happens). Otherwise awaiting development references hopefully sometime later this event.

I see. So it wasn't 'sabotage' that required the attention but 'preserving secrecy' that needed to be tuned down some. I lowered the opposition from 8 to 5 members there. Mingled group, it'll be up to the writer to decide how many pseudo-immortals they want to deal with. Pulls it more in line?

You may be confronted with opportunistic rogues believing you hold something of value. If you do, the collective of five jumps you with D-2 stats across the board. They have no jutsu but may have weapons.
C rank - For the Resistance:

Mission name: For the Resistance!
Mission rank: C-rank Quest
Objective: Find people and shinobi willing to oppose Hastur.
Location: Kumogakure
Reward: 1 EP + 300 ryo
Mission Description: The Resistance is rising to take down the self-proclaimed Thunder God Hastur Miyamoto but can't do so openly as this is a direct transgression against Kumo law. It is your job to discreetly discover and persuade people willing to abandon Hastur, and preferably oppose him.
Pursuers have C-rank speed and make use of C-rank sensory utility (jutsu, dogs...) to keep track of you.
C rank - Logistics:

Mission name: Logistics
Mission rank: C-rank Quest
Objective: Provide a hideout with additional resources for their operations.
Location: Kumogakure
Reward: 1 EP + 300 ryo
Mission Description: The Resistance is rising to take down the self-proclaimed Thunder God Hastur Miyamoto but can't do so openly as this is a direct transgression against Kumo law. A base of operations requires resources to be successful. While seemingly a menial task, the success of the Resistance depends on you to support them just as much.

Development References: "Godslayer.", end of Hastur arc
Mission Details: 2000 wc.
Transport food, drink, money cases, paper and other useful resources to the base. You may be confronted with opportunistic rogues gladly taking over your 'work load'. These rogues are five in number and have D-2 stats across the board. They have no jutsu but may have weapons.

B rank - Tag and Bag:

Mission name: Tag and Bag
Mission rank: B-rank Quest
Objective: Uncover shinobi and Jashinists working for Hastur, gather information about them and assassinate them.
Location: Kumogakure
Reward: 1 EP + 500 ryo
Mission Description: The Resistance is rising to take down the self-proclaimed Thunder God Hastur Miyamoto but can't do so openly as this is a direct transgression against Kumo law. Before we strike at the God himself we need to weaken his defences. Track and take down his allies in purpose.
Development References: "Godslayer.", end of Hastur arc
Mission Details: 3000 wc.
Your target is at least special jounin in prowess. Their stats are B-2 across the board, they have two elements of choice and three specs of choice. They wield B-rank armour and weapons.
B rank - Sabotage:

Mission name: Sabotage
Mission rank: B-rank Quest
Objective: Sabotage Jashinist meetings, scramble patrol routes and/or intercept couriers and other communication.
Location: Kumogakure
Reward: 1 EP + 500 ryo
Mission Description: The Resistance is rising to take down the self-proclaimed Thunder God Hastur Miyamoto but can't do so openly as this is a direct transgression against Kumo law. Before we strike at the God himself we need to disorient his troops. Sabotage the chain of command, the communication and gatherings as good as possible but refrain from destroying civil buildings.

Keeping a growing faction undercover is not without risks in a shinobi Village, forcing the Resistance to take drastic measures. Defend the hideout, then move it to a new spot with the survivors.
Development References: "Godslayer.", end of Hastur arc
Mission Details: 3000 wc.
The hideout will be assaulted by a group of shinobi and Jashinists (5 members).

- Your target has a squad (4 members) of their own who aren't all that far away - if soloing this thread, only stealth killing the vigilant jounin or voiding sound/communications completely will avoid the squad from joining the fight. If performing this mission in a group, you have two posts to kill him and get away. Their squad member's stats are B-0 across the board, with access to two elements and three specs of choice.

- members failing missions/tasks, internal conflicts to resolve. How will you make sure morale stays high will secrecy is preserved?
- several squads of shinobi, Jashinist and/or rogues needing to be dealt with in the course of time. These have B-2 stats if dealing with two groups (10 members) or A-2 stats if dealing with one squad (3 members). They have access to three elements and three specs, and weapons/armour of their stats' rank.

There seems to have been a misinterpretation. The difficulty of Preserving Secrecy was adequate - it was the comparative lack thereof in Sabotage which is what I took issue with.

D-RANKS
A Night with Spiders:

Mission name: A Night with Spiders
Mission rank: D-rank
Objective: Survive the night!
Location: Spider Island | Kirigakure
Reward: 150 ryo
Mission Description: Spider Island is a dangerous place where its like-named inhabitants have a habit of hunting just about anything that sets foot within their territory. While taking down vast amounts of spiders sure sounds like a heroic feat, your lesson is not one of heroics but of basic survival: finding a safe place, foraging for food in a dead region and think preventively rather than destructively.
Mission Details: 750 words.
The worst you might face is arachnophobia, for little spiders don't pose that much of a threat.
Building Bridges:

Objective: Repair the bridge between Kiri's mainland and Spider Island
Location: Spider Island | Kirigakure

The worst you might face is arachnophobia or aquaphobia.

Mission Details: 750 words.

C-RANKS
Dead Gardens:

Mission rank: C-rank
Objective: Tend to the Dead Garden of Osada manor.
Location: Spider Island | Kirigakure
Reward: 300 ryo
Mission Description:  Before the looming construct that is Osada Sero's manor rests a garden with dying flora and moss-covered gargoyle statues. It is your task to bring new life to the flowers, clean up the fountain and get rid of the moss so as to restore some semblance of life.
Mission Details: 1500 words.
The spiders of the island don't take kindly to visitors. While they are too scared themselves to invoke the wrath of the dark nobility living in the manor, they are not shy of harassing the workers with web and feverish venom in hopes to drive them away from the garden (and into their waiting webs).
Providing Provision:

Mission name: Providing Provision
Mission rank: C-rank
Objective: Bring in much needed provisions for the Osada clan.
Location: Spider Island | Kirigakure
Reward: 300 ryo
Mission Description:  A small path from the island's edge leads to provisioning quarters where the servants of the manor bring in delivered proviand. You (and your team) are to escort the cart with goods all the way to the manor while making sure starved spiders remain at bay.
Mission Details: 1500 words.
A group of five (5) giant spiders is so starved they'll try anything to get something edible. Driven by hunger, these C-rank stat creatures will assault the caravan with webs and poison to devour whatever edible stuff they can steal and bring into their web.
