Guard the Caravan:

Mission name: Guard the Caravan
Mission rank: C
Objective: Guard a merchant caravan as it travels to the village from the border
Location: Kaminari no Kuni Border
Reward: 300 ryo
Mission Description: You have been hired to meet up with a small merchant caravan at the border and escort it the rest of the way to the village
Mission Details: The caravan is running late and is eager to take the most direct route to the village. However the route is compromised as the caravan will soon learn by bandits blocking the road. There are three men with D rank stats and large hammers standing in front of the barricade of an overturned cart. One woman is sitting on top of it that can cast up to C rank lightning jutsu. Descriptions of NPC up to the writer. Must eliminate or capture the bandits to move on.
Mitsuhide sat lazily on the ground, leaned against a tree, a Shogi board sat on a stump before him and he studies it silently. Ikazuchi, his Nodachi lay across his lap and he looked fairly comfortable. Unbeknownst to anyone except for Mitsuhide, Mitsuharu floated opposite of him over the Shogi board. Mitsuharu took form as an orb of red and orange, with longish spikey hair and red and black Sode, samurai shoulder armor hanging on either side of the ‘orb’. Mitushide moved a peice across the board and leaned back, motioning to the board.

“Your turn, my friend.” He says and looks away from the board as Mitsuharu hovers closer to the board and debates his move. Mitsuhide’s grey eyes scan the surrounding area. He was supposedly waiting on a second person for this mission, as well as waiting on the caravan itself. He had beaten all other parties to the agreed upon, so he and Mitsuharu had began playing shogi. It still failed to register to him that to everyone except himself, it looked like he was playing against and talking to himself. Mitsuharu didn't  agree with Mitsuhide at first, about his quest to seek knowledge from the shinobi, but eventually grew to support the idea. The spirit took comfort that even if Mitsuhide had no one else, he would still be there.

“Yeah Yeah. Hold your horses, Youngster. I’m thinking.” The disembodied voice murmurs as he studies the board before him, causing a chuckle to rise from Mitsuhide. Mitsuharu was his oldest friend and a big part of why he fled his home. Having his companionship was the first thing Mitsuhide remembers and he refused to let that go. He smiled fondly at the floating orb who had began motioning to the board. “There. Move that one there.” He says and Mitsuhide complies and the game continued back and forth until either the second person arrived or the caravan got there, which ever one came first. After some time, the sound of hooves can be heard, a sure sign of caravan.

"Alright Old man. Time to pack it up, we have a job to do. Go keep an eye out while i clean up." Mitsuhide says as he begins packing up the travel sized shogi board. The Spirit complies and floats over to the road to watch for the caravan, which was still a ways off. After finishing packing away the game, Mitsuhide tucks it away and retrieves Ikazuchi, buckling it onto his belt as he walks to the side of the road. "Time to stay sharp. Be the eyes in the back of my head, yeah?" Mistuhide says and lifts his fist up,  to which Mitsuharu headbutts in response. Together they wait, a young man and his rather invisible spirit companion.

Tomohiro had met with caravan leader earlier during the day. He couldn’t figure out why it the merchant so long to finalize his plans. The meet up was at the edge of the border. It had been awhile since he last stayed out here. Now that he thought about it, the last time he was here was bringing a caravan to the border. Though, the last time wasn’t much of a hassle. Tomohiro had traveled here alone and had yet to meet the other shinobi that was supposed to be assisting him. All he knew was his name and that he was a genin. The last thing Tomohiro wanted to do was baby sit, but he would make sure everyone here would make it back to the village alive.

The young shinobi waited on a rock as he polished his sword Kenmei. The blade sparkled in his hand as he moved the cloth up and down the backside of the blade. It had become one of his prized possessions since he ranked up to the level of chuunin. It had served him well. The blade had been finely crafted and looked like he may pass the weapon down to his children. That’s if he survived long enough to even have kids. Tomohiro sort of cast the thought to the side. He didn’t want to think about his own death. If he died, he would be remembered as someone who was weak.

Tomohiro continued to polish his blade. He looked up and saw the head merchant in the distance. The man was still gathering his things together. Tomohiro figured that it would be dangerous. Bandits, who he considered the scum of the earth, like to get there hands on premium goods without legal means. Tomohiro sighed as he finished wiping down his katana. He put the blade in its sheath and stood up from his resting place. Tomohiro first thought was to seek out the genin and plan how they were going to handle the mission. Tomohiro had already come up with an idea since it was just the two of them. Though, he would wait to here what his partner would say.

The young Nakir looked around the outskirts of the caravan for his partner. The man’s family name was Miyamoto and he was only given a brief description of the genin’s physical appearance. Tomohiro wished that the raikage’s office would give better descriptions on those they paired him up. Recent days seemed to be last minute details. It was sort of annoying that they didn’t have a better system in place. Well, at least he was going to get paid for this. He had to remind himself that money was the sole reason for agreeing to do extra missions. Plus, it made him look good in front of Lord Hastur. Even though he wasn’t sure how the raikage felt about him. There was lot of things on his plate and he probably didn’t even remember who Tomohiro even was. Though, he wouldn’t let that get him down.

Tomohiro looked around until he saw the man that fit his description of the mission report. The man looked like he was playing a game of shogi with himself. As he approached, he heard the man talking, it seemed like he was talking to someone. Yet, no one was sitting across from him and it made Tomohiro raise an eyebrow. What in the tomfoolery did the raikage think he was doing teaming him up with a crazy man? Tomohiro took a deep breath and figured that he would try and put his differences aside and try to work together. He waited a bit from a short distance as his associate picked up the shogi board. Tomohiro walked up slowly and figured that he would officially introduce himself.

“I’m Nakir Tomohiro, chuunin. Nice to make your acquaintance, Mitsuhide is it?” he said in a monotone with somewhat glaring eyes.

Tomohiro quickly heard a branch snap in the distance and quickly looked around to see what caused it, but only saw a horse that had gotten a bit restless. It also seemed like the merchant was almost done. That was a bit of a relief. The merchant probably wanted everything to go smoothly, but Tomohiro knew better than to belief that. He was really pessimistic today.

“Well, how about we get things on the road. Do you want to take point, rear, or just do whatever?” he said in a dull tone.

He was the senior in this mission, but he didn’t mind giving others the choice of choosing their own experiences. Tomohiro was a strong believer that one should learn through their own actions. Only when need be should he give a firm hand. He already knew that wasn’t the way he was going to be as a sensei, but it was definitely fine as things would go on casually.

“Oh, A Nakir. Interesting.” Mitsuharu says to Mitsuhide as the young shinobi introduces himself. The spirit orb circles around the Tomohiro for a moment before regarding Mitsuhide again. “I’ve heard they are pretty good swordsmen, This kid might be a good time. You should fight him.” Mitsuharu dismisses the shinobi and begins moving around the caravan. One of the perks of having a spirit companion, they could act as another sensory input that would help keep an eye on things, like check up on the cargo unnoticed.

“I’ve only just met the guy, I’m not going to throw down with him right off the bat.” Mitsuhide says aloud and chuckles softly, shaking his head slightly as he walks toward Tomohiro. “Sorry. Yeah, I’m Mitsuhide.” He says as he looks the chuunin over and pats him on the shoulder as he walks past, into the road where the caravan waited. “They sent a Chuunin out here for this? Man, either they really don’t trust me or this mission might be funner than I thought it would.” The caravan consisted of three horse drawn wagons and after a moment he smirks, unbuckling the saya for Ikazuchi and holding it in his hand.

“Seems pretty basic stuff in here. No surprises in any of the cargo or caravan workers.” Mitsuharu says as he returns to Mitsuhide’s side. The spirit had been investigating the contents of the delivery and getting a feel for the other workers to see if this might be an inside job. Danger can come in many shapes and forms. Mitsuhide grabs the side of the first wagon and hauls himself up next to the man who drove the wagon and plops into the seat next to him, placing the tip of his Saya between his feet and leading the hilt of his long Nodachi against his shoulder.

“Sounds good Mitsuharu. You know the drill, keep an eye out and let me know when there’s trouble.” Mitsuhide replies again to the spirit before turning to Tomohiro. “I’ll be fine up here, Mr. Chuunin. Feel free to ‘Do whatever’.” He says as he leans back in his seat and kicks his feet out, getting as comfortable as he could on the wooden seat. The spirit orb continues to float around the convoy, keeping a watchful eye on the surroundings, ready to report back if trouble arose, so Mitsuhide leans his head back against the wall of the wagon and closes his eyes.

The greeting the two had was just really awkward. Though, it was a bit too awkward for his taste. Tomohiro really had concerns for the mental stability of his partner. The young shinobi had his own set of problems, but it was more aligned with watching his enemies fall in battle. Tomohiro still wasn’t able to comprehend what was going on. There was bit of discomfort that he didn’t even want to ask him who was he talking to. He did know of some clans that could see the unnatural, but he mostly consider that to be just rumors and speculations. The fact that the guy may be willing to fight him didn’t tick him off. It actually made him quite interested in seeing his abilities. This journey was going to be a long one, but he wouldn’t be too discouraged about his current situation.

As his comrade turned away, he started to say something, but he couldn’t get the words out. The guy reminded him of someone else he knew. He hoped the cockiness the guy shown wouldn’t get him killed. The guy acted like nothing would ever happen. Tomohiro knew from experience that these missions could easily go wrong if they weren’t vigilant. What sort of shocked Tomohiro was that the guy then went on and sat in with the caravan. This caused him to raise an eyebrow and have a thick knot in his stomach. Tomohiro rubbed his temples right around the underside of his forehead protector. He adjusted his hood underneath his his coat and placed it over his head. This was going to be a long mission indeed.

The young Nakir then made his way to the back of the caravan where the merchant had been. He was inclined to hurry this up. Luckily, as he approached the merchant sat down in the rear most wagon and yelled out for the caravan to start moving. The caravan workers got in place some rode on the wagons while others walked alongside of them. Tomohiro decided that it was probably best that he would walk alongside the merchants wagon to be sort of a personal bodyguard.

As the caravan continued to moved along, Tomohiro noticed that the road they were taking was a direct route to Kumo. It was a dangerous move. A route that he wouldn’t take without having good reason to. There were a number of unwanted guest that traveled through the straightest route. Not saying that the other routes were safe, but this one definitely had it’s pros and cons. Tomohiro dared to not to ask the merchant anything. The thought he had was that the merchant knew of he danger and thought that the shinobi would fend off any aggressors if any may arise. That was a bold way of thinking, but it wasn’t too bold for someone who was business minded. Everything so far seemed to be alright for awhile. It  was until he heard a snap of a branch within the trees. The trees were old, but he wouldn’t put it past someone to be sizing them up. He then heard another snap. They were definitely being followed and whoever it was wasn’t doing a good job of being stealthy.

“Merchant, we’re being followed. Me and my teammate will handle it. There may be multiples. I don’t see a single thief or bandit trying to take on the whole caravan,” Tomohiro stated in a low voice.

The merchant looked at him then nodded. Tomohiro didn’t bother going for his weapons just yet. It was too risky to let just charge the enemy. He wanted them to show themselves. It was easier to fight would you could see. The trees also made it a bit darker than he liked. Though, his kekkei genkai would make it easier to see. Hopefully, whatever they faced wasn’t anything special. Tomohiro could hold his own, but he wasn’t sure about his teammate. Some genin were quite questionable concerning their skill. He wasn’t sure of his Mitsuhide’s skill, but he would try to help him if the situation needed.

Mitsuharu had been roaming around the caravan, watching the surrounding area and covertly listening on conversations. The merchant was obviously worried about an attack and many of these things were inside jobs and considering no one can see or hear Mitsuharu save Mitsuhide, what better way to gather intelligence.

“Direct route Hm? Dangerous choice friend. It’s almost like you want someone to knock you off.” Mitsuhide muses to the driver of the first wagon, who grunts in response. MItsuhide felt uneasy. No guards other than the Nakir and himself, the direct route business. But maybe it was all in his head. Either way, he sat forward in his seat and began to pay a little closer attention, while trying not to be completely overt about it.

“Mitsuhide. The Nakir seems to think someone is following us. If something happens it may be sooner rather than later. I haven’t been able to pinpoint our follower, but I’ll let you know if I do.” Mitsuharu says as he floats near Mitsuhide for a moment, causing the man to smirk. If they were indeed being followed, it would only be a matter of time before the attack was to come. They were already fairly secluded, Mitsuhide hadn’t seen anyone passing the opposite direction for sometime now. But for now, it was a waiting game. No sense on letting the potential enemy know that they knew there may be an attack. Mitsuhide nods toward Mitsuharu and the spirit vanishes again, returning to its patrol radius around the caravan.

“How much longer till we reach the Village?” Mitsuhide asks that driver as they round a bend but is answered by the driver yanking the reins and quickly slowing the caravan to a stop. Almost as if his thoughts had summoned his adversaries, they now stood before them. Two men with kanabo standing before an over turned wagon with a petite blond female sitting atop it. Mitsuhide shakes his head and rises to his feet. “Guess that answers that.” He mutters as he hops down from the wagon. “How about, you guys just clear the road and step aside and I wont kill you?” Calling out to the would be bandits, Mitsuhide says as the steely rasp of Ikazuchi being drawn sings out.

“You kill us? That’s comical. You ninja are all the same.” The female and obvious leader calls back to Mitsuhide. “Go Kill him boys.” He says, leveling an outstretched finger at Mitsuhide. The two men with Kanabo grin and press forward. Mitsuhide scoffs, Ikazuchi now held loosely in his right hand.

“See, That's where you’re wrong little lady. I’m not a ninja.” He says and moves forward to meet the two goons Once they are about 15 meters away, Mitsuhide takes his sword in both hands and then surges forward with the aid of Futon. The gust of wind covers the distance in a single second and he attacks the pair before they were ready for him. Landing a solid blow, to one of the bandits leg, the bandit staggers back and Mitsuhide engages the other in combat. He hoped the bandits thought he was the only guard, so Tomohiro could engage stealthy.

Tomohiro heard a voice out in the distance and glanced up to the tree line with a straight face. There was no one there. He looked forward as the caravan came to a holt. Tomohiro started to dash into the trees to see if he could get a better view. There were three men with hammers standing front of a cart that was overturned. The Nakir figured that this would happen. The handle of his blade gripped tighter. There was a woman who was on top of the barricade. The next thing he heard was “Go kill him boys.” That was one of the last things he wanted to hear. He wished he could have gotten their sooner to be able to cast a jutsu. It would have been simpler to just take all of them out at once.

Tomohiro sat within the trees as Mitsuhide took on the first two of the bandits alone. The young Nakir drew his Kenmei and leaped out of the tree line. He moved toward one of the bandits that had hung back before the man began to charge to help out his comrades. The man turned slowly toward him as the bandit’s eyes met red glowing slits of Tomohiro’s eyes. Tomohiro feet slid across the dirt path as he came to a halt a couple of meters away from the bandit. The bandit fell to his knees holding his throat as his crimson life fluid leaked from his throat outside of his body and into his lungs. That was one down. Tomohiro’s snake like eyes moved toward the woman sitting on the car who now stood up as her comrade fell to the ground.

“Death is the risk you take for trying to make a quick ryo. You all will fall.” he stated with his typical monotone voice.

As he flourished his blade to rid his weapon of blood, Tomohiro took a deep breath while filling his throat with chakra. Next, came the release of a cloud of smoke from his lips. The area away from the caravan became filled with cloudy and thick with smoke. The woman quickly hopped into the smoke in a rage. Tomohiro moved to the right as the woman came at him with lightning charged palms. He quickly tapped her on the shoulder as he jumped missing the woman’s palm strike. Tomohiro swung his weapon at the woman’s leg causing her to stumble forward. He then struck again hitting her at the back of her knees having through cut through the use of her legs. The leader of the small crew fell to the ground in the smoke screaming out. Two down.

Tomohiro then moved through the smoke swiftly like a shark through the ocean. He then exited the smoke to charge at one of the guys that had been attacking Mitsuhide. His Kenmei found temporary refuge in the injured bandit’s knee. The injury caused the man to fall to his kness making it easier to cut the man’s throat. Taking the bandits out was a bit exciting to him, but he figured he at least would let his comrade get a kill in as well. Tomohiro couldn’t decide if he wanted to capture any of them, but didn’t really care for it. There death’s would suffice. He had now compassion for bandits, after all.

Mitsuhide grinned as he squared off against the bandit before him. The kanabo that his opponent wielded would hurt if he landed a sound blow, but Mitsuhide had no intention letting that happen. He toyed with the bandit. He over exaggerates a heavy over hand blow, forcing the bandit to lug the heavy kanabo overhead to defend, but feints at the last moment and instead dips low and drives his left shoulder into the mans chest. Driving the bandit backwards, Ikazuchi held in his right hand, Mitsuhide begins to focus Raiton Chakra into his blade and electricity begins to arc slightly over the blade. The bandit finds his footing and roars loudly as he attempts a massive overhand strike of his own. Mitsuhide swiftly rolls backward just as the kanabo thuds into the hard packed soil of the road where he just was. Without pause he scrambles up the the now grounded weapon, running up the length of the Kanabo and delivers a kick to the bandits face, making him stumble backwards and drop the kanabo. Mitsuhide spins in the air and slashes at bandit as he falls to the ground. His first slash cut deep into the left side of the bandits neck and arterial blood sprays into the air. He lands and is already slashing again in an upward motion, Ikazuchi ripping through the mans right thigh, severing the femoral artery as well.

Mitsuhide move!” Mitsuharu calls out and without a second of pause Mitsuhide dives to the right and rolls, just as a stream of tennis ball lightning bullets fill the air where Mitsuhide was and now strike the falling corpse of the bandit. The sneak attack came from the wounded leader who had been able to half crawl out of the cloud of smoke. Raiton Chakra arc’s across Mitsuhide’s hand but the attack itself is sent from Mitsuharu. The Spirit was 5m above the ground when the Raiton attack flows through him and sends a wave of lightning at the wounded woman. Unable to dodge it thanks to Tomohiro wounding her, the attack hits her square in the chest, knocking her onto her back. Mitsuhide begins to stride toward her, his gray eyes scanning the battlefield. Realizing the Chuunin had either killed or disabled all of the other bandits while he was toying with his, made him smirk at the boy as he walked by.

“Show off.” He says as he strides passed the boy toward the bandit leader. Raiton still crackled across his blade as he reaches down, grabbing her by the hair and hauling her to her feet. ”See, you shouldn't of done that. My friend here might of let you live, but then you had to go and try and be sneaky.” Mitsuhide says to her as she struggles against his grasp of her hair. “So, now you die.” He releases her and spins. As he spins he takes his blade in both hands and slashes at her neck. The blow cleaves clean through her neck straight to the spine and she falls, lifeless to the ground. He flicks the blood from his blade and releases the Raiton Chakra that flowed into it before turning and walking back toward the caravan. “Do as you will with him.” He says to Tomohiro, motioning to the lone bandit with his blade before he sheathes it. As he reaches the caravan, he climbs back onto the wagon and returns to his seat.

“Mitsuhide, You didn’t have to kill her.” The spirit says, floating before the man as he sits in the wagon, his voice slightly disapproving. Mitsuhide closes his eyes and leans his head back against the wagon.

“Shut up Mitsuharu. Go make sure no one else is around here.” He dismisses the spirit and falls silent. Mitsuharu sighs and begins to move toward the back of the caravan, once again acting as a look out.

Tomohiro watched as Misuhide finished off the bandit he was encountering and even killing the the bandit leader. Tomohiro let out a low hum as his Netsugan deactivated turning his eyes back to it’s normal violet state. He had to admit that Mitsuhide had some skill in fighting and the wind had sort of blown his ashen haze away. The young Nakir looked toward the fallen bandits and left them alone. They would die eventually. He figured that there was probably no way of coming back from that without some type of medical ninjutsu. The bandits weren’t really a true threat, but they at least tried to put up a decent fight for low level thugs. There was no remorse from Tomohiro. These criminals had what was coming to them. Now, he just needed to clear the car out of the way.

The young shinobi walked over to the flipped cart and performed a spinning kick to get it to set upright. He then pushed the cart to the side of the road. The cart wasn’t to heavy at least, but it would definitely get them on the road again. After he was done, he motioned to the front of the caravan to start moving again. As he started to walk back to his spot before the convoy was disrupted, he could see the face of the head merchant. His face had a horrible scowl. Though, the merchant didn’t say anything. Tomohiro just nodded and returned back to his post. The merchant could be heard mumbling under his breath. Tomohiro could catch different words like “bandits” and “running late.”

Tomohiro understood the man’s anger. He was also a little perturbed that they were stopped by the no good bandits. The rest of the trip went by pretty smoothly for him. Though, Tomohiro continued to put up his guard as they traveled. Traveling on this road always did have is disadvantages. If he could, he tended not to travel this way at all. This was one of the few roads that the Lightning Country didn’t keep soldiers posted. He would petition Lord Hastur about it in his report. There were too many known incidents that they should at least having something done to the main roads. A shinobi or two might get sent every so often to keep the roads clear. The straightest road should at least always be the clearest. Hastur would probably send him back out here just for spite as far as he knew. Tomohiro kind of shrugged his shoulders at the thought.

“The village should be getting close,” he told the merchant.

Mitsuharu liked to take advantage of the fact that no one except for Mitsuhide. Like now, He floated around the moving Caravan belting an off key marching tune. Often he floated near Tomohiro or the other men present and if they were paying attention they might hear what sounded like an unintelligible whisper on the wind. But to Mitsuhide, it was as if the spirit was next to him the whole time. He groans loudly and rubs his temple with one hand. He was in a foul mood for some reason now and wasn’t sure if it was just the bandits or the fact that the Nakir had shown him up. While he embraced the Shinobi more than most Miyamoto, he still hated being shown up by them.

“Perhaps you should try and talk to the Nakir.” Mitsuharu’s voice says from beside Mitsuhide. Thankfully the spirit had quit singing and hovered near Mitsuhide. Tomohiro was obviously skilled and Mitsuhide may be able to learn a thing or two from him, but in his current mood it probably wouldn’t be a good idea. He was hot-tempered as it was and he knew if Tomohiro said something he didn’t like it would lead to a fight and he just didn’t want to deal with that today.

“I really don’t want to fight the kid today, Mitsuharu and right now that’s what would happen if I went back there and tried to talk to him. Those bandits pissed me off. I’ll try and meet up with him after we get back to the village after I’ve calmed down.” He says, opening his eyes for the first type since the fight and looking around. The wagon driver who sat next to him was a bit wide eyed, having listened to Mitsuhide seemingly talk to himself multiple times. The ronin couldn’t help but chuckle, which made the driver that much more uncomfortable. He could see the village looming up ahead and fell silent once more. Mitsuharu sighed and floated away, returning to his task of keeping watch. The rest of the trip was pretty quiet.

Before long they had made it inside the village and to their destination, the wagons pulled into a large courtyard and Mitsuhide climbed down off the wagon and walked toward the back. The driver was off the wagon before Mitsuhide and nearly ran into the nearest building to get away from the man he thought to be totally crazed. Mitsuharu fell beside Mitsuhide and floated along there, not that anyone else could see him. Arriving at the wagon that Tomohiro was in, Mitsuhide paused for a moment.

“Nice working with you Nakir. Look me up if you ever need a hand.” He says to the Shinobi, utterly ignoring the Merchant, who attempted to speak to him but he had already began walking away, whistling a merry tune as he disappears into the streets of the village.

“That merchant was talking to you Mistuhide.” Mitusharu told his master as he floats up beside him. Mitsuhide shrugs his shoulders as he continues to walk.

“That pig has nothing to say I wanted to hear. The Nakir can deal with him. Besides, the village pays me, not the merchant.” He says and continues his merry tune. Mitsuharu shakes his orb from side to side in disapproval but falls silent. There was nothing to be side to his master when he was like this.

Chuunin
Tomohiro continued to bear the quiet undertones of the merchants speech. It was a good thing that the village finally came into view. There was a small leap in his chest as he finally saw the village come into fruition. There was then what seemed to be a whispered that caught Tomohiro off guard a bit. The merchant had finally settled down and he couldn’t figure it out. He thought that maybe it was just his mind playing tricks on him. Though, he had kept hearing it throughout the whole trip. Tomohiro rubbed his temples as he thought that the day was just probably a bit elongated for his liking.

Mitsuhide approached him as the other wagons had already made it through the gate. Tomohiro was ready to go home and take a nap. This day could have been much worse, but he was glad that the mission had gone swell enough to call it a success. MItsuhide had spoke to him and Tomohiro simply nodded before saying anything back. Mitsuhide had some skill. The shinobi would make an excellent chuunin if it weren’t for him talking to himself or so he thought. His skill was good and Tomohiro definitely appreciated good swordsmanship like he had seen during the mission.

“Nice working with you as well. Hope to work with you in the future.”

The merchant attempted to get a word in, but couldn’t. Tomohiro bowed slightly to the merchant before speaking. He didn’t want to anger the man as much as he was already. Tomohiro was actually ready to get going and he would soon.

“Sorry sir, for the inconvenience.  I’m sorry that I can’t stay, but I need to go file my reports. Good day.” Tomohiro stated to the merchant before whisking himself off into the dark reaches of Kumo.
