The open air and wide spaces of the training ground immersed Akiyama deep within the true setting of Kirigakure. The place was a swamp, a mire, a bog, a forest, grassland. The constantly shifting nature of the country Akiyama had grown in and its ceaseless danger that hand crafted the strength the Shinobi of his village almost always had. At the very least, the landscape bred killers, men and women ready and willing to take a life at the drop of a hat. Initially Akiyama had not been among this elite, hesitating during his mission with Kaito. Things were different now however, Akiyama had ended a life, many in fact. Thus it was time for Akiyama to train with those on the same level, and thus why he was here now.

Genin often came to this place to increase their power with training. Grievous wounds were not uncommon in the spars that happened here, shuriken and kunai littering the wet dirt and foliage that dotted the terrain. Standing in the open between two large trees Akiyama would rest his hand lazily upon the hilt of his blade, sheathed on his left hip. There was little emotion in his eyes as he stood awkwardly, hoping that eventually somebody would arrive to give him some sort of challenge. The hairs on his body stood straight as his stagnation continued. The chill that often accompanied the mist of the village in the morning permeating through his clothing to leave him a rather uncomfortable temperature.

Biru was running toward the training grounds thinking to himself "Damn it how did I over sleep so much? Yesterdays training must have been harder on me than I thought it was." He usually preferred to have his morning training session already finished by now before the sun finished coming up. It was still fairly cool this morning even with the sun already above the tree line so at least he wouldn't have to worry about the heat for at least a few more hours. What he was mostly worried about was how much space would be left in the training grounds for him to find a spot. Usually alround this time when Biru was leaving his morning session there was a lot of people just starting to show.

As he slowed to a light jog and then a walk entering the area it appeared to be completely empty however and he was slightly confused. "Must be a slow day or something." he said to himself under his breathe. Scanning the area he noticed only a single shinobi standing across the field from him starring with his hand on the hilt of his uniquely large sword, the rest was unusually empty. Biru gave a slight head nod toward the other shinobi and trotted off to the eastern side of the field near a couple training dummies and set down his backpack.  He quickly took his fighting stance and began his regular taijutsu training session for the day by stretching and then begining to throw multiple different combinations of punches and kicks while moving around the dummy to warm up.
