Mission name: Sprouts to Nourish.
Mission rank: D-B.
Objective: Be an inspiration to children.
Location: Konoha.
Reward: 1/2 or 2/4 EP.

Mission Description: On the Day of Blooming, think of the younger generation, the "king" of the Leaf. You're given about ten fresh and wide-eyed ninja hopeful, to which you are to show several ideas of what it can mean to be a shinobi. You have them until midnight.

Mission Details: The children are Academy graduates, so they're not easy to pin down without some more serious ninja arts - be cool and show some, but no harm should come to them. You can even perform an especially form-emphasized and graceful spar with a second ninja. Once you manage to demonstrate, you can talk about what it's like to be a ninja with them.

In the honor of traditional Shinobi Kumite for this time of year, if you spar with another player of at least equal rank in front of the kids, the mission's EP reward is doubled. Will o' the wisps will surround you if you do so at night, the old legends of Konoha lore being rooted in truth.

Mission name: New Seeds.
Mission rank: D.
Objective: Accelerate Konoha trade by giving.
Location: Marketplace.
Reward: 1 EP + 150 Ryo.

Mission Description: In observance of the Day of Nurturing, the newest members of Konoha's Will of Fire are gathered atop the Hokage Monument to view a spectacle of lights and sounds. Keep an eye on them to make sure they don't fall off or wander too far.

Mission Details: The children are fairly placid, but the ceremonial sparring and fireworks outside can disturb the children. It's not a flashy job, but you're at least not alone in doing it - the caretakers will assist and even talk with you about the meaning of the next generation.

Mission name: Exhibition Match
Mission rank: D-S (Repeatable)
Objective: Perform a spectacle of combat.
Location: Konohagakure no Sato -> Any Notable Location
Reward: 150/300/500/1000/2000 Ryo + 1/2/3/4/5 EP.
Mission Description: The festivities surrounding the exams are brought forth by a sportsmanship and drive to witness combat; new abilities or items and ingenious strategies. Keep the audience captive for the main event by stoking the flames of intrigue!
Mission Details: You can take this mission only at a rank equal to your own rank, and this mission must be taken alongside another player. The bout in question must qualify for the Guidelines' rules on combat, and thus must be at least 2 posts long. Do your best to exemplify your skills and execute creative maneuvers - it's all a show!

At the end of the mission, you and your opponent must decide who wins for the purposes of the mission; the winner puts Victory Count: 1 at the end of their exit post. The next time a victor takes this mission, they link their previous Exhibition Match to the first post of the next one.

For each Exhibition Match you win in a row, you gain one stacking extra EP from each successive match you win, up to 5.

Mission name: Every Party Needs a Pooper....
Mission rank: D.
Objective: Bounce.
Location: Konohagakure -> Construction Site or Shushaya Pub
Reward: 150 Ryo +1 EP.
Mission Description: That's why they invited you. Festivities can get a little wild when spirits are high and...spirits are flowing. Be sure to keep people from disturbing the other guests too much and escort any of those who incur property damage or start fights off the premises.
Mission Details: There's bound to be an incident or two, from some poor ninja uncontrollably emptying their stomachs from too much sake to shinobi duking it out over a bet that got personal. Luckily, they're rarely belligerent enough to require actual combat. You might be tasked to help clean up the place after hours, though.

Mission name: Apples to Oranges.
Mission rank: D.
Objective: Sort Doppelganger Fruits.
Location: Small South Forest.
Reward: 150 Ryo +1 EP.
Mission Description: The exams fell right during reaping season, and a great many autumnal Konoha delicacies require ripe, juicy fruit! Amaguriama is handing out open gigs for those that will help pick and sort the Burning Sky Harvest.
Mission Details: There's nothing out of the ordinary here at first, but it turns out not only the foliage is the varied colors of fire. Every single one of the fruits can be orange, yellow, crimson, or any color in-between! This is a tedious task that either takes a Konoha palate and nose, a Perception stat of D-3 to tell between the different types of fruit, or a sensory technique that lets one discern their interiors without damaging them.

Mission name: Far from the Tree.
Mission rank: C.
Objective: Protect the groves!
Location: Deep Forest.
Reward: 300 Ryo +2 EP.
Mission Description: The Sarutobi have somehow pushed the high brass of the summoning monkeys off-kilter in their clan leader's absence, leading relations to be less than amicable. The primates need a lesson on unacceptable behavior, or the orchard will be ruined! Yakiniku Q is spreading flyers to end the apes' rage and protect their precious smoking wood.
Mission Details: This faction of summon-monkeys only travel in ninja-like squads to avoid detection, and thus you'll likely only encounter three or four at a time. These monkeys are Taijutsu masters, adept in physical combat with two stats each of C-3 and C-2, but are universally a bit dull, with Perception of D-2.  They all have access to the standard Katon libraries for ninjutsu, as well as being proficient users of the Transformation Technique, which they use to ambush those they detect coming after them.

Being rather single-minded, blunt, and obviously peeved, these primates won't cool off until defeated in battle. They are no splinter group, so even if you defeat this batch it's unlikely the arbor-arson in the area will cease....Nonetheless, turning them over to the Sarutobi clan's acting head is a requirement for mission completion. Additionally, you can fail this mission by injudiciously using techniques that burn or otherwise destroy the wood beyond use for smoking. (While no collateral damage whatsoever is appreciated, cutting techniques at least make it easier on the laborers.)

Mission name: Prepare Exam Arenas.
Mission rank: C.
Objective:
Location:
Reward: 300 Ryo +2 EP.
Mission Description: The exams test entrants' abilities to adapt to different environments as well as opponents simultaneously. Some of these environments are not endemic to Konoha; it's the job of various shinobi to create them according to the proctors' parameters. This is a regular task, as cheaters make repeated attempts to learn the layouts.
Mission Details: A fairly simple request fit for any ninja: terraform and modify the environment to fit the descriptions necessary. You'll be provided with sealing tags or other equipment as necessary to make more permanent changes such as water formations, constant winds, or persistent torches. Earth and even Wood users can begin shaping and growing as ordered. Only approximate changes need to be made for this mission to be completed - even those tasked with this aren't entirely privy to how things are meant to be.

This mission can also entail clearing and resetting the arenas between matches. Lingering hazards such as makabishi, needles, flash bombs, and even fūinjutsu may still be present, so stay on guard.

Exam entrants cannot take this mission! Pursuant to the terms of entry, proven foreknowledge of the exams' conditions can get you immediately disqualified!

Mission name: If It Ain't Broke....
Mission rank: B.
Objective: Dissolve a hippodraming ring.
Location: Market District.
Reward: 500 Ryo +3 EP.
Mission Description: The initial matches have been so uninteresting as to arouse suspicion - a few exceptionally skilled or lucky combatants are cleaning house with almost no resistance. The average audience member might see a real fight, but more experienced eyes know that the participants are successively holding back against a single opponent. The payouts are less than conspicuous, and sources have traced the group to a specific inn that they’ve completely booked.

Mission Details: The profiteers of this operation aren’t ninja, but are exceptionally well-hidden. You can either infiltrate their ‘place of business’ and organize a formal arrest or take matters into your own hands. If you take the stealth approach and attempt to gather concrete evidence, you’ll need a stealth technique of A-rank or higher to evade notice. The three guard ninja present all have B-3 stats and a combined command of all the elemental libraries. Defeating the trained combatants will lead the illicit gamblers to surrender themselves if they haven’t fled already - you will have to round them up yourself if this is the case.

Mission name: Trick or Treat.
Mission rank: B. (Crime)
Objective: Rig the Trick Arenas.
Location: Sparring Grounds.
Reward: 750 Ryo +3 EP.
Mission Description: Several of the battle venues where the Exam matches will take place have special layouts or effects. You are to visit a few of them and either take note of their topography and peculiarities or change them if possible, relaying the information back to the jōnin that contracted your services.
Mission Details: You can find any of the arenas guarded by a single Special Jōnin of Konohagakure. Over the course of this mission, you must travel around the arena and sketch the topography, using sensory jutsu as they are available to you. Failing this, you can use Earth, Water, or Wind Release to tamper with the stages and report the specifics of your meddling to the client. Loud noises created by changing the arena will easily alert the guard, and you must stay hidden with a stealth technique of B-rank or higher so as not to arouse suspicion. You can also deign to knock out the ninja so as to eliminate interference, but they won’t go down without a fight - they have B-2 stats across the board and access to the Fire, Wind, and Ninjutsu libraries.

So much as being reported as being seen near the premises or leaving signs of a struggle will result in immediate failure of this mission - while your identity may not be at risk, there are a strict few personnel allowed inside before they open for matches, and the risk of any compromise in confidentiality will prompt the committee to change the arenas once more. Being identified after having assaulted the guard will add you to the Konoha Bingo Book.

Mission name: Extra Pair of Eyes.
Mission rank: B-A.
Objective: Proctor a match for the Exams.
Location:
Reward: 500/1000 Ryo +3/4 EP.
Mission Description: There are hundreds of matches taking place for the Chūnin exams, and more overseers are needed than ever to ensure the safety and fairness of the bouts we host.
Mission Details: You are in charge of half a day’s worth of matches, about 5 or 6. They will mostly go without incident, but a few entrants are especially bloodthirsty; restraining them will require defensive and/or supplementary jutsu of at least B-rank. This is overall an easy or boring mission, but necessary enough that you receive pay regardless.

Mission name: Red Turnt Yellow.
Mission rank: S.
Objective: Locate and Liberate Chūnin Hopeful.
Location: Hi no Kuni Border.
Reward: 2000 Ryo + 5EP
Mission Description: There are a number of entrants missing from their bracket matches, with no discernible pattern in village or other behavior to explain the multiple dropouts. Considering the lack of any correspondence, foul play is suspected.
Mission Details: Cults present in the Land of Fire have taken to indoctrinating the Genin who have traveled to the exams, and are doing so by force. Deep in the wilderness of Hi no Kuni, an S-ranked cult leader in golden robes commands a mixture of A and B-ranked non-ninja worshippers who have forcibly kidnapped entrants. All are equipped with A and S-ranked weapons and the Leader is a Raiu Clan member with all library techniques for his Suiton and Raiton elements, as well as Ninjutsu. This mission can be taken to rescue a PC contestant in the exams as if it were an opposed mission, counting as if both players had completed this mission twice.
