Kashiki

Kashiki

Chuunin
Kashiki cracked his knuckles. So, the first round didn't quite go as planned, forfeiting wasn't really his style but it felt like it was the right thing to do in the end. He didn't want to take away someone else's chance at becoming a chunin, even if the could one day be hunting him down. The boy cleared his mind, that sucked, but right now he needed to focus on the present, winning this match. Kashiki slipped on his leg armor and pulled the samurai esque body armor over his shoulders. He slipped into the poncho he had won all those nights ago, it reminded him of how much he had done to prepare for the exams, the very thought of all the work strengthened Kashiki's will to win. He slipped the odachi, Gyakusatsu, into its scabbard which was now situated on his lower back. In his hip pouch rested a smoke bomb, a flash bomb, 5 shuriken, and 3 kunai. He reached out to grab his Konoha Forehead Protecter, but his hand pulled back just before it touched the headband. Did he really deserve to wear that? Especially with what he planned to do. It would be easier if he just pretended for a little while longer, for everyone. Kashiki tied the headband, the metal plate was cold, or was that just his imagination?

"Lets go Kashiki!" A proctor shouted through the door, signaling it was go time.

Kashiki stepped out into the arena, which this time seemed to be much more like what he was expecting. A huge circular arena with a flat stone floor. Weapons were strewn about the arena, stabbed into the ground or simply laying on it. Kashiki grinned as he stepped into the arena, this was probably the best case scenario for a swordsman. Kashiki stepped 20m forwards, leaving 80m to the other side of the arena and 20m behind him. A proctor stood to the side of the arena, waiting for both genin to get into position before waving his hand and shouting Go, signalling the start of the round. His opponent was a black haired boy, a spear rested on his back and a overcoat covered most of his body leaving only his head visible. Kashiki smiled as he glanced around, formulating a strategy. His opponent seemed to be a weapon user of some sort at first glance, due to the spear on his back. Kashiki was well versed in weapons and military combat, typically a spear would have quite the range advantage on a swordsman, but the odachi Kashiki wielded was nearly the same if not longer then the spear the boy used. Kashiki reached a hand into his pouch, grabbing out a metsubushi and a smoke bomb before weaving his hands into a handseal, creating 6 clones of himself. He and the clones dashed at the boy, each zigging and zagging and mixing among each other to make it harder to determine which was the original. Kashiki would throw the smoke bomb at the boy as he neared the half way mark, cloaking his attack even more.

From inside the smoke Kashiki would throw the metsubushi, more as a distraction then anything, but if it landed it would be quite the advantage. With the time bought from the metsubushi Kashiki would pull of his poncho, imbuing it with chakra and preparing a substitution technique. Kashiki and his clones would move from the smoke towards the boy, just before leaving Kashiki would weave his hands into the bird sign, activating the Still Wind Cloaking technique. Upon leaving the smoke he would be completely invisible, leaving 6 clones to lead a full on frontal assault, each attacking from slightly different angles in hopes of overwhelming his opponent. The real Kashiki on the other hand would move in a loop to the side, reaching the back of the boy about the same time as the clones would reach the boy. If his enemy was hidden or invisible at any point after him and the clones left the smoke, Kashiki would weave the bird, dragon, then ox hand seals, activating the Locomotion Sight technique.

Once the clones began attacking, Kashiki would unsheath his own blade, slicing into the boy's back. If any physical defenses or defensive jutsu were brought up or activated Kashiki would activate Otherworld Blade, causing it to phase through physical defenses and some defensive jutsu. If the blade struck the boy at all, Kashiki would activate Lesser Demon Claw and Dragonfly Scar just before impact, guaranteeing a grievous wound if the attack connected.

Techniques Used:

Name: Doppelganger Technique (影分身の術 ~ Bunshin no Jutsu)
Canon/Custom: Canon.
Rank: E.
Type: Supplementary.
Element: None.
Range: Clones can go up to 15 meters away from the user before dispersing.
Specialty: Ninjutsu.
Duration: Clones last until dissipated or cancelled.
Cooldown: Five posts after all clones are dispersed.
Description: Using this technique, the user can create up to five intangible clones that appear physically identical to the user; these are created within 3 meters of the caster. The clones do not disturb the area around them, don't have shadows or body heat, and as such, in applicable situations, ninja can pick them out with varying difficulty. The clone has no physical form, and as such cannot attack. When any foreign presence passes through the clone, be it physical (a fist, a rock, a sword) or an opponent's jutsu, the clone will dissipate. It's mainly used to help mask the user, helping them attack an opponent who is superior at dodging. It costs 5 chakra to create clones.

Name: Substitution Technique (変わり身の術 ~ Kawarimi no Jutsu)
Canon/Custom: Canon.
Rank: E.
Type: Supplementary.
Element: None.
Range: One prepared item in the user's clear line of sight.
Speciality: Ninjutsu.
Duration: 1 post preparation. Infinite postponement, Instant activation.
Cooldown: 6 posts after activation.
Description: The Substitution Technique is an age-old skill which enables the user to evade the effects of an attack by switching with an item in the area. (The item---or substantial clone---used for a Substitute must be as large as the user's torso, and must be prepared at least 1 post in advance by infusing it with 5 chakra.) Activating this jutsu for another 5 chakra, the ninja moves at untraceable speed for just a moment, and the item does so as well to take the user's place; the ninja leaves behind a flickering after-image for a second, which, if damaged, releases the chakra which holds it in place in a small smoke cloud, revealing the nature of the technique and the item they have switched with. Higher-rank ninjas' afterimages are able to show some of the signs of natural impact as if it were an actual human, if only for a very short period, before 'poofing'. The user coming out of the technique creates a similar audio and visual cue with a small cloud of translucent smoke and a 'poofing' sound on appearance in the location of the item they Substituted with. This technique causes the user to move at speeds untraceable to human perception, and therefore even the user cannot coordinate attacks during the Kawarimi, or activate any other jutsu. They, however, can maneuver near someone and then attack them after the fast-movement is finished.

Name: Kishin Geiru|Still Wind Cloaking
Origin: Custom, Kishin Geiru, Kashiki Hattori
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Element: Futon/Katon
Range: Self
Specialty: Chakra Flow
Duration: 1 post, maintainable
Cooldown: 2 posts + how ever many posts you maintained it for
Activation: Bird
Description: Still Wind Cloaking This jutsu is used to hide the user allowing for escape but also improved combat capabilities. The user channels minuscule amounts of futon and katon chakra into the air, causing the user to appear invisible as the chakra disrupts the air around them hiding them. Additionally the moving wind distorts sound waves, blocking them from discovering the user of this jutsu unless they rank of the sensory jutsu using sound wave based detection is c rank or higher. The katon chakra also causes a blur around the effect causing it to blend better, however the blur is easily noticeable by those with perception of C-0 rank and up (this sees through the entire stealth jutsu, not just the blur. If someone has c-0 rank perception this jutsu has no effect on them).

If Stealth:
Name: Hokō no Kōkei
Origin: Custom, Kashiki Hattori
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Element: Futon
Range: 20m
Specialty: Chakra Flow
Duration: 1 post, maintainable
Cooldown: 2 posts + how ever many posts you maintained it for
Activation: bird, dragon, ox
Description: Locomotion Sight This jutsu is used to help locate opponents within the area, even when they are effected by stealth jutsu. It does this by sensing disruptions in the air caused by things taking up space by flowing futon chakra into the air causing it to move ever so slightly, and picking up the dead zones where the futon chakra isn't moving in this manner (so when the chakra bumps against a person it detects the person as a person sized and shaped dead zone) This jutsu can sense any obstructions, not just people and other living things.

If Defense:
Name: Kishin Geiru|Shichi Tsu no Jigoku-ha: Hoka no Sekai Ha
Origin: Custom, Kashiki Hattori, Kishin Geiru, Shichi Tsu no Jigoku-ha
Rank: c
Type: Supplementary
Element: None (Yin)
Range: self/melee
Specialty: Chakra Flow
Duration: 1 post + Mantained
Cooldown: 2 plus amount of posts maintained for.
Activation: none
Description: Otherworld Blade This technique is the first of the Shichi Tsu no Jigoku-ha or Seven Blades of hell techniques, seven jutsu used in Kishin Geiru to improve the usage of a weapon specifically. This technique fills the weapon of the user with spiritual yin energy, so much so that it becomes partially a part of the spirit world. The weapon now phases through anything that doesn't have a spirit. Things with spirits are any sentient creature or object. This is mostly living people, but also includes items that harbor a soul or spirit, reanimated dead, anything sentient, or anything that otherwise specifically mentions having a soul or spirit. This also phases through defensive techniques, ignoring a single defensive technique up to a maximum of c rank. This jutsu phases through offensive techniques, being unable to affect them unless they are spiritual/spectral/otherworldly in nature.

If Hit:

Name: Kishin Geiru|Shichi Tsu no Jigoku-ha: Tonbo no Kizuato
Origin: Custom, Kishin Geiru, Kashiki Hattori, Shichi Tsu no Jigoku-ha
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Element: Futon
Range: Melee
Specialty: Chakra Flow
Duration: 1 post
Cooldown: 2 posts
Activation: none
Description: Dragonfly Scar Another of the seven blades of hell technique, this technique surrounds the blade of the user in fast moving spiraling wind. The damage of the next attack landed in the duration of this jutsu improved by this jutsu, causing the weapon to cut and pierce 3 inches deeper than normal and flaying the flesh where cuts are made causing immense pain. The max amount of attacks this can effect is five per post

Name: Kishin Geiru|Chisai Akuma Tsume
Origin: custom, Kashiki Hattori, Kishin Geiru
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Element: Futon
Range: 1 inch
Specialty: Chakra Flow, Taijutsu
Duration: 3 + mantain
Cooldown: 6 + half the time it was maintained for
Activation: none
Description:Lesser Demon Claw/ The user forces futon chakra into the around them and their weapons. Then they control the chakra to rub against each other at extreme speeds causing five 1 inch cuts whenever the user lands a physical attack.

Makoto~

Makoto~

Genin
Makoto was still laying on the bench as his wolf ashe looked at him he gave her a glare. She huddled her head low and dropped her ears low. She knew she failed him and he knew she was weak, he knew she was not ready, but he knew it meant nothing anymore. What was done was done and the time had to move on as he had no choice but to leave her behind. He did not have time to deal with her weakness and things were more serious now as he looked towards her and said.

"Go rest and while I am out there you better not skip your training"

As he said that Ashe nodded her head in reply with a soft whimpering whine and a bark of acknowledgement. She remembered that look in his eyes when he was prepared to kick her for her disgrace, but passed up on it and told her just to rest. It was clear the feelings he felt back then were pure disappointment as he prepared to go through with this battle differently.

After contemplating at that which transpired he stopped his brooding and began to get dressed, wearing some ordinary black shorts once more with some regular pockets and a white string to tie since it felt loose to fit as he wondered if he could not get something more to his size after the exams.

Makoto then began to put on the first sock and the second sock and then a third and forth sock so that he had two pairs of two socks on each foot as he then put on his running shoes and realized they fit a bit better with two socks on instead of the looseness they usually had. He then proceeded to tie the shoe laces carefully as he began to wonder how things would go this time.

He then put on his Light Fibre Vest first as he slotted in his left arm and then his head and struggled to put in his right arm as he realized changing the order in which he got dressed would not help too much. Makoto then followed up by putting on his reinforced cotton fiber t-shirt which hid his light fibre vest and he would then put his shield on his arm and his tanto would be hidden inside the shield. He then put some metsubishi in the shield, one in his hair, one in his kaginawa launcher, another two in each of his shorts pockets, one inside his forehead protector and then the last two were placed on the edge of his yari spear carefully, they might be noticeable, but that was what he wanted them to do.

Makoto hid his makibishi's in his cloak as he put it on over hiding all his gear on his upper body as he held his arms close to hide everything but his forehead protector around his neck and his spear on his back. Unlike last time he had his lenses ready from the start with his renzugan and all its lenzes equipped this time he had his one eye showing green and his left eye appeared golden in color as he made use of this just to make the opponent maybe get confused.

He finally attached the grappling hook launcher to his right arm as usual as wondered if he would have a chance to use his new technique. Out of frustration he also put his blanket over his shoulder and then looked back at Ashe once more.

"Stop being down, get to training right now. When we get back to the village, you going to be training a lot harder so be prepared"

As Makoto walked away as Ashe slowly proceeded to prepare for her training realizing she was a failure she heard the last words mumbled by her master. "Be careful"

Makoto had his shuriken and kunai in similar locations to his previous fight and now it was time to get ready as the light from the arena was unmistakable. Makoto also had his crystal catalysts in various locations for use in battle if he needed them, however there was one more thing he needed to do, and that was to make this battle a lot more decisive as he felt the interference was unnecessary last time as he still had that glare in his eyes at the decision for the battle, while his opponent looked more confused then he did or maybe it was the pain talking, but he felt he was not done and that did not sit well with him

For this fight Makoto would not sit around and just wait for his opponent, he would prepare everything in advance this time. There was something that he needed to perfect, before he could create the ultimate offense he would need the ultimate defense as he finally got into position twenty meters in the proctor gave the signal and he chose to take action straight away. He performed the clone technique and wasted no time, they each formed hand seals as the mist creation technique was used by him and one was used by his clone as he then created a normal hidden mist as his opponent seemed to be preparing some kind of technique on the way towards them. Makoto would follow up on that with his hidden mist water reflection sight in order to see things with use of the water in the mist.

He decided to activate them all this time, having not been able to use them in the previous battle was annoying to say the least. He fired his kaginawa with his blanket behind him with the chakra imbued in it, it was also a decoy for his opponent to chase after as a trap. The clone performed the defensive jutsu first with the mist form technique and then mist wall technique as he stood right next to Makoto who then proceeded to perform the mist form technique while being within a meter radius of his clone partner. This was only the beginning as he had to test if his defenses could deal with an overwhelming assault as he also activated the armor of mist as well, all the techniques he used would blend in with the mist itself and as a whole all the jutsu performed now would appear as one jutsu to the untrained eye or without the use of a sensory technique that could tell mist blending in mist apart from other mists.

He would let his opponent challenge his mist and would then proceed to form hand seals the moment his target struck in order to prepare the water pond creation technique followed by the water tentacle technique if his opponent was still in range would form the tentacles behind his opponent to trap him however this was only if his opponent did not attempt to run away immediately as the tentacles needed some bit of time as he had other plans for this fight in general. The water tentacles could move close to ten meters per second and had a range of up to twenty meters that they could effectively reach, but in general this was only if his opponent was willing to stay within the mist after making an adventure.

In response with there being so many clones it was not something that would matter as they seemed to just dissipate on impact with the mist, which meant this was the academy technique and the fact that his opponent was already gone was something that gave away that his target was using some method of stealth technique, in a dire situation he would teleport away, but for now he would see if his opponent could get passed his four defense tactic. However his true ultimate defense was the mist wall which was not as much a wall as a support for his other hidden mist techniques as the hidden mist itself was protected from his opponent as well

Chakra: 255 - 15(C-rank Water Clone) - 5(Replacement Technique)-10(pond creation) - 5(mist creation) -5(mist form)-10(mist armor)-10(mist vision technique) = 205-25(water clone) = 170

IF = - 10(if water tentacle has reason to be activated with all criteria met) = 160
Water Clone Chakra: 25-5(mist creation)-5(mist form)-10(mist wall) = 5
WC: 1338

Jutsu Used:

Name: Water Release: Water Clone Technique (水遁・水分身の術 ~ Suiton: Mizu Bunshin no Jutsu)
Canon/Custom: Library
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Element: Suiton/Water
Range: Clones cannot travel more than 30m away from the user.
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: Until clones are destroyed or cancelled
Cooldown: 4 posts
Description: The Water Clone Jutsu is similar to the Shadow Clone Jutsu except it creates clones out of water that have one-tenth of the original user's chakra - taken after the initial activation cost of this technique has been deducted. Like other solid clone techniques, the clones can be used to perform tasks the user is unable or unwilling to do for themselves. The range of the clone is limited however, as it can not travel very far from the original body without losing control. Like other clone techniques, if the water clones are injured enough they will revert back to normal water. Water clones are capable of only using suiton jutsu provided they have enough chakra to cast it. Regular jutsu cooldowns apply - if a technique is used by one clone, it cannot immediately be used by another clone. A maximum of six clones may be created at any one time. The clone automatically disperses when it runs out of chakra, or when hit by any attack that can cause the equivalence of a C rank technique in physical damage [major bruising, 1-2 inch cuts, etc.] or a C-rank/2 D-Rank offensive jutsu. The user may willingly disperse a clone - returning any chakra the clone has left to the user - but this can only be done under the condition that the clone is not under direct attack. Clones which have been dispersed by other means - ie. taking damage - do not return any chakra to the user. Elemental clones created will have a 'clone' of the user's weapon(s) up to C-Rank in strength.
*Clones have their own jutsu cooldowns and do not share them with other clones unless the jutsu in question was cast before creating the clones, in which case it starts on a cooldown when the clones are formed.

Name: Water Release: Armor of Mist (Suiton: Kiri no Yoroi)
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: C
Type: Defensive
Element: Suiton
Range: Self
Specialty: Ninjutsu/Chakra Flow
Duration: Maintainable
Cooldown: Maintained posts + 5
Description: The user forms the Dog Yang Snake hand seals and then the mist around them gathers and clings to their skin in a semi-solid state like water. This is a unique variation on the hidden mist jutsu that utilizes mist for direct defense blocking all physical attacks (basic strikes not physical jutsu strikes) of B-rank and lower from getting through. This jutsu can block up to one jutsu of a rank higher, two jutsu of equal rank and up to three jutsu of a rank lower. This jutsu is maintainable and if no mist is available for the technique the armor will have a one post delay before it forms around the user.

Name: Water Release: Hidden Mist Technique (水遁・霧隠れの術 ~ Suiton: Kirigakure no Jutsu)
Canon/Custom: Library
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Element: Suiton/Water
Range: 15m radius
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: 6 posts
Cooldown: 8 posts
Description: The user releases a thick mist from his or her mouth or uses a water source around him or her to create the mist. This effectively acts as a cover for the user. Doujutsu such as the sharingan are incapable of seeing through it, since the mist is kneaded with the user's chakra. The byakugan, however, can bypass this mist at any rank. Anyone with the Perception stat C rank will be able to see blurry movement within five meters of themselves - anyone with Perception stat B rank or higher will be generally be able to see movement around them within the mist, with only minor details obscured. The user is also incapable of seeing through the mist unless they themselves have an ability / technique that would enable them to do so.

Name: Water Release: Mist Creation (Suiton: Kiri no sōzō)
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Element: Suiton
Range: 4m radius
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 6 posts
Description: The user performs the dog hand seal and then creates a light mist over a 4m radius, when performing a jutsu that requires, creates or is a variation of the hidden mist you no longer need to perform the hand seals required, this effect can only be used twice after which the light mist will fade.

This jutsu can also be used to make light mists for use by other hidden mist variations and is a variation of the hidden mist technique. The light mist nature refers to it not hindering the normal vision of enemies, however this technique still counts as a hidden mist technique variation.

The effect of the technique requires the user to be within the radius of this technique to use its effects and this mist is made in its current location and can not move unless there is a technique which states it can do this.

Name:Water Release: Mist Form (Suiton: Kiro Katachi)
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: D
Type: Defensive
Element: Suiton
Range: 1 meter radius
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: Maintainable
Cooldown: Maintained + 2
Description: The user performs the hand seals in the order Monkey>Dog>Snake. This is a variation of the hidden mist jutsu that intensifies the density of the mist slightly in order for it to form a misty barrier around the user that is able to block one jutsu of C-rank, two jutsu of D-rank or three jutsu of E-rank. When using this jutsu in collaboration with any hidden mist variant, the barrier itself becomes invisible as it shares the appearance of the hidden mist technique.

It loses its invisibility when outside of a hidden mist jutsu or variations of the jutsu other then itself. This jutsu can not be invisible if used on its own.

Name: Water Release: Mist Wall (Suiton: Kiri no Kabe)
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: C
Type: Defensive
Element: Suiton
Range: 4m radius or the same as technique used
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: 3 posts
Cooldown: 6 posts
Description: The user performs the ox>snake>ram hand seals and then takes the dab stance and releases a thick mist from his body or uses an exiting water source around him to create the mist. However the user may use a pre-existing mist as the base for this technique resulting it gaining the range of that technique and sharing its duration as well.

This is a variation on the hidden mist technique with similar hand seals with the only difference being the stance performed at the end. This jutsu is not visible when used within another hidden mist variation and when used on its own it does not block visibility much as it is mainly a defensive wall of mist and chakra.

The wall's strength can over come two techniques of equal rank, three of a rank lower and one of a rank higher. Furthermore, because the field of vision is maintained while defending, one can easily perform another technique without losing sight of the enemy, which is a great advantage.

This was originally meant to be used as a basic defensive technique, but later was found to merge well with variations of the hidden mist technique itself. This jutsu's duration can never be more then six posts, even if the mist used in its activation has a longer duration.

Name: Water Release: Hidden Mist Water Droplet Reflection Sight (Suiton: Kirigakure Suiteki Hansha Hikari)
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Element: Suiton
Range: 20m radius
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: Maintainable
Cooldown: Maintained + 2
Description: The user performs the snake>dog hand seals and then releases a mist or uses a pre-existing mist to create a faint droplets of mist reflections that functions the same as the water droplet reflection sight technique, however still requires the Kakuchō III or a doujutsu. The user is able to see the water reflections on these tiny droplets in the mist as well as being able to see in the mist itself as a side effect.

Name: Water Release: Pond Creation (Suiton: Ike no sōzō)
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary
Element: Suiton
Range: 5m radius
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: 10 posts
Cooldown: 10 posts
Description: The user performs the dog hand seal and then creates a small body of water over a 5m radius, when performing a jutsu that requires a water source or creates a water source you no longer need to perform the hand seals required, this effect can only be used twice after which the pond will vanish, the pond can also be evaporated by a C-rank offensive jutsu with evaporation properties which includes Katon, Raiton and advanced elements with a burning potential to use up the water.

This jutsu can also be used to make small ponds that will last for an entire thread if no combat is involved.

Name: Water Release: Water Tentacle (Mizu no Shokushu)
Canon/Custom: Custom
Rank: D
Type: Supplementary Defensive
Element: Water
Range: 20m
Specialty: Ninjutsu
Duration: 4 posts
Cooldown: 8 posts
Description: After forming the dog hand seal four water tentacles sprout out from a water source or from the users mouth if no water source is available and proceeds to cling to anything that is not the user or one of their jutsu capturing random parts of the enemies body. The tentacles once they make contact stick to the enemy and proceed to coil around the relative limb and upon capture the other tentacles converge as well. The opponent requires at least C-rank strength in order to break free, but will suffer a one tier drop in speed and someone with C3-rank strength can just walk them away with brute force. The tentacles keep the captured target from moving more then 2 meters away from the captured location and the tentacles coil around the target.

Also makes the target wet.

The ten meter long tentacles can be formed up to ten meters away from the user and have a speed of ten meters per second.

Makoto's Melancholy

4 Re: Round Two: Hattori Kashiki vs. Makoto on Fri Nov 23, 2018 2:42 pm

Kashiki

Kashiki

Chuunin
The his opponent wove seals as Kashiki moved towards him, creating a clone of some sort before the area was quickly cloaked in mist. Kashiki continued with his plan, moving into the mist and striking at the being that was closest to were his opponent was when he first walked into the arena. His blade connected, his opponent not even trying to dodge the blow. 'He's cocky ain't he' Kashiki thought to himself as the blade struck at his opponent, only for the jutsu on the blade to be stripped away, except for the Otherworld Blade which phased through his armor and the mist armor jutsu before ending, allowing for one basic strike, the blade cutting a 1.5 inch deep gash across the small of his back. Kashiki brought the blade across before striking again, this time aimed for his opponent's neck. As the blade sailed through the air, Kashiki would perform the Spectral Gash technique. The mist seemed to solidify as the jutsu was created, and the blade cut through it but the chakra that once surrounded it was gone. The blade would bit into his opponent's neck if he didn't try to dodge it.

Just as the strike was completed his opponent would preform a jutsu, creating a pool of water on the ground. Kashiki would drop his sword and weave his hands into signs of his own, using the cleansing winds jutsu on his opponent, ending his water clone, hidden mist, and substitution jutsu. As that jutsu was used his opponent had already finished a second jutsu, four tendrils of water forming out of the pool of water. The tendrils struck Kashiki, binding his limbs but Kashiki's strength allowed him to break free of them. The swordsman wove his hands into another set of hand seals, slamming his hands to the ground before using them to project himself at his opponent in a burst of speed, moving at 11/m a second at the boy and attempting to tackle him to the ground. As Kashiki dashed forwards the ground began to heat up, and by the time he and his opponent hit the ground from the tackle (assuming it connected) the ground and air would be incredible hot, creating major second degree burns across the boy's body. The heat would also evaporate the pool of water therefore ending both that jutsu and the water tentacle jutsu aswell.

Chakra: 130/250
Techniques used:

Substitution Active
Still Wind Cloaking: 2/2 duration
Locomotion Sight: 2/2

Name:Kishin Geiru|Spectral Gash
Origin: custom, Kashiki Hattori, Kishin Geiru
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Element: N/A
Range: Melee
Specialty: Chakra Flow
Duration: Instant Application, effect lasts 2 rounds
Cooldown: 3 rounds
Activation: none
Description: Spectral Gash The user channels chakra into a weapon or limb, which manifests as a dark purple aura around it. When you land an attack with the chakra buffed weapon/limb, the chakra causes tissue damage as the flesh and blood in the area of the attack are drained of heat and energy, which manifests as major second degree tissue damage from blunt damage. The main benefit of this attack however, is that it rends medical ninjutsu that would be used to heal the attack. This jutsu causes the attack (both this jutsu and the attack of the implement used to deliver this jutsu, and any effects modifying either of those) to ignore medical ninjutsu of equal rank or lower that would heal or nullify their damage. Additionally, for 2 posts these wounds cannot be healed by medical ninjutsu of equal rank or lower due to the aggressive chakra left in the wounds that nullifies medical ninjutsu or equal rank or lower.

On the downside, while channeling this jutsu and for 2 rounds after, medical ninjutsu does not work on the user of this jutsu due to the residue chakra that eats at medical ninjutsu. Additionally, for two rounds after the end of this jutsu, the user has a -1 to endurance as their body fights away the chakra

This jutsu nullifies/ignores 2 b ranked medical jutsu or 3 c ranked medical jutsu.

Description: Cleansing Winds This jutsu is used to deal with pesky beneficial jutsu before they get into the range where they can cause an effect. Any active jutsu that the target are using will be forced to end and go onto cooldown, as their the user's yin chakra floods their chakra system and dissipates ongoing effects. This can end 1 jutsu of b rank, 2 of c rank, or 3 of d rank. 2 d rank equal 1 c rank for the effects of this jutsu. Jutsu are ended in the order of which they are activated, effecting oldest first.

Name: Mienai Tsuchi-Kazan

Type: Offensive
Element: Katon
Range: 15m radius
Specialty: Chakra Flow

Description: Unseen Earthen Volcano to perform this technique, the user channels Katon chakra into the ground in the area around him, The chakra wells just under the surface, creating large pools of incredibly high temperatures in the area around the user. The user can change the shape and area of this jutsu, so long as it stays within the 10m radius. This jutsu does not harm the user. This jutsu causes major second degree tissue damage to the legs and lower torso to anyone in the area every round that they touch or are in the ground.

Calling hits due to 24 hours passing:
Tackled into Unseen Earthen Volcano: Major 2nd degree burns to your entire body

I believe that is Lethal Damage Threshold

Kashiki flew into the boy's stomach, tackling him to the ground. The two tumbled for a second before Kashiki ended up on top of him, pushing him into the ground. The heat from the Unseen Earthen Volcano technique welled around the two, the blur of heat surrounded and filled the area. Burns and blisters would cover his opponent, making it nearly impossible to fight as second degree burns covered their body. Kashiki gave one more good shove, pushing the boy hard against the ground, before standing up. He'd grab his poncho on the way to his side of the arena, before heading out the door and leaving.

C-Rank
More than 24 hours have passed, so Kashiki's attacks land in the way he describes. Mist Wall is stripped away by Cleansing Winds, leaving Makoto open to further assault by the B-rank jutsu (which exceeds the Mist Armor's capacity). Due to the excruciating pain of major 2nd degree burns all over one's body being beyond the capacity of genin endurance, the match goes to Kashiki.

Kashiki reached a hand into his pouch, grabbing out a metsubushi and a smoke bomb before weaving his hands into a handseal, creating 6 clones of himself.

From inside the smoke Kashiki would throw the metsubushi, more as a distraction then anything, but if it landed it would be quite the advantage.

Using these two posts as reference points in time and when actions happen, Kashiki is currently approaching Makoto at the time of Makoto casting the clone technique. It can be assumed that between the time the clone is created and the mist creation technique is used. Makoto neglects to evade or respond to the iron shavings and thus it shall be assumed that they land, and Makoto is blinded for one post.

Due to the nature of this hit, being iron shavings in the eyes, it will be assumed that Makoto would need to react reasonably, and thus certain actions (the blanket and substitution technique) would be voided, and actions after the casting of Armour of Mist would be nullified by Kashiki's presence. Because Makoto did not state any movement occurred and this is assigned damage due to 24h ruling, Kashiki's Otherworld Blade collides with the Armour of Mist and both techniques nullify one another.

Furthermore, the basic strike continues and lands true. Lesser Demon Claw and Dragonfly Scar are also activated, and Makoto is dealt enough damage to place him in the Lethal Damage Threshold. The match goes to Kashiki.
