Mission description: You've been chosen on rotation to check people's credentials and ask their business before allowing them into the village.

Himari took a sip of the coffee that she brewed moments ago. Her golden irises peered out at the sunrise from the window of her bedroom as her mind began to churn through her plans for the day. Taking deep, steady, breaths as she enjoyed the last sips of brownish liquid in her cup, Himari pulled herself from the window in order to start her day. In the back of her mind a million questions tried their best to interrupt the peace that she was quietly enjoying. Less than twenty-four hours ago she was in a detention center, being watched and monitored until she was told that she was allowed to become a full citizen and ninja of Iwagakure. She had been in this village for at least a month now and all of it was spent under the watchful eye of those stronger than her. Of course she really didn’t have a choice in the matter, as she had nowhere else to go. She wished she could remember her days before washing up on the shores of this country but no matter how much she tried it she only drew blanks. She knew it was probably better if it came to her naturally but she was starting to worry that it would never come to her...Not in anyway she could understand. Everyday since she arrived here nightmares plagued her that felt all too real, a crazy part of her wanted to believe those nightmares held some truth but she couldn’t be sure.  She wondered if it was like that for Taiho, another individual who arrived in a similar manner as herself and someone she had become friends with during their time in the detention center.

With caffeine shooting through her system her morning routine seem to whiz by in a blur. Before she knew it she was out of the door and walking briskly to the nearest cafe for some breakfast before she did her duty as a ninja of the village.  She wasn’t familiar with village fully yet, but she knew the most important places which included the Kage’s office, a few higher ups that she reported too every now and then, and Taiho’s place. Currently she was following her nose and it led her to a small shop that sold dumplings exclusively. Grabbing a few different kinds of dumplings for herself and Taiho, she would eat while she made her way to the Kage’s building. Today would be quite a busy one, at least for her anyway. It was agreed upon that she would do at the very least three missions a day while she lived in the village with the weekends being her days to do whatever she liked. She had to keep up this small quota of mission taking until she was able to reach chunnin. Those in the detention center felt that this would keep her busy and it was an effective way to keep track of her. Upon reaching the Kage’s building she polished off a few more dumplings before heading inside the building. Currently there weren’t many people in the building besides a few guards and those who had actual work there. Himari made her way to the area where missions were handed out and upon requesting a C rank mission she was given one under the condition that she took it with another individual. Himari had already fully planned to ask Taiho to take on the mission with her seeing as he was the only person she knew. With a mission in hand the young light haired girl rushed to the home of Taiho, knocking on his door once she arrived, hopping he would answer as her eyes darted to the box of dumplings she was holding, only now realizing it looked as if she were bribing him on this mission with food.

The morning had borne some ill gotten fruit for Taiho as his mind stirred from the aches and pangs of drifting sleep. A warm wetness had seemed to encase him entirely, dulling his senses and making it hard to comprehend the fact that it was morning. The grip around his body was substantial, his limbs feeling extra heavy from the weight as he groggily attempted to acknowledge reality from the fits of slumber. His body flexed with intent, a soft hitch of breath alerting him to the presence of another, a fellow warm body in what his toes told him was a cold world. Shifting his presence about, he felt himself drive deeper into ambrosia, the feeling jerking him suddenly into clarity as the body beside him gasped audibly. Now he realized what the warmth was, the tight wetness that embraced him so. The sweat clinging to his body was not that of a fitful night of sleep, but of an active evening of passion and in his opinion good monetary decisions. A smile would grace his lips as he settled back against the warm body, the heavy comforter trapping the both of them deep underneath its embrace. He contemplated milking more money out of the body, the client clearly enjoying the embrace as it moved closer to his body inadvertently sending spikes of pleasure through the both of them. This whole situation was bliss to him. But alas it was not to last.

The sharp tapping of knuckles against the metallic wood of his apartment door shook Taiho. It jerked him from his pleasurable embrace in a way that left him feeling if only slightly irritated and if the grasping hands and legs were indication, his companion felt similarly. He would have to remove himself gently from his companions presence and embrace, the action taking far longer due to his rather long and lanky body. The action caused a cold whimper to leave his companions mouth, the figure clearly not wishing to leave his presence or his talents. He knew however that not answering his door would likely lead to it being knocked down instead of knocked on and quickly moved to answer it before said actions could come to pass. Stepping to his front door with nothing covering his body from the good light of the lord, Taiho would open the door wide, his now far more muscular frame and swinging endowment, still glistening with the clinging moisture of its recently excavated treasures. His face held a rather dull scowl, not really malicious in intent as he stared down one of the few people who would actually bother knocking on his door at... six in the morning. Pausing from his glance over that the clock hanging over the small dresser by the door, he turned back to the young woman with a more pronounced scowl this time, displaying his displeasure at her presence for not only interrupting his... work, but also his rest.

This better be good Himari, or I swear I will bust your head against that guard rail”. His words lacked any real sting or intent, but the young woman likely knew he was serious due to his rather... explosive reputation that he had garnered during his state in the Detention Center. It was something that they had both gone through, though she had entered the very month he was leaving. Apparently however, she had been released during his stint at the Chuunin exams, something they both had celebrated with a night of... merriment over a glass of Inferno and a box of pizza as all friends do. Of course the night hadn't been anything more than a get together between friends, and he knew that he was the well endowed young woman's only real friend in the village due to similar circumstances. He would wait patiently for her answer as the morning breeze tickled his pillar of the gods.

" I came to pick you up for work. I have a mission for us to do. I even went out of my way to get breakfast. You wouldn't smash the head of a person who brought you food right? " Himari wasn't afraid of Taiho's threats, that might have been intimidating to some people but she knew he wouldn't do that to her...Probably. Holding up the bag of dumplings she put on the sweetest smile she could muster, which looked fake as all hell. " Now how about you let me in so we can discuss our plan for this mission...Or did you not kick your work out yet. " Of course she took note of his naked body, the scent of carnal acts that lingered on him, his more irritated than usual attitude. She knew what he did but she that wasn't any of her business so she didn't really care..Is what she likes to tell herself. Her golden orbs blinked innocently into his aqua ones hoping he wasn't so upset that he would decline her offer because she really couldn't do this on her own according to the rank of the mission itself. Patrol was easy work, but since they would be outside of the village and making sure no one suspect gets in anything could happen.

The beautiful young woman left the impression of a cheshire cat with her tendency of playing with dangerous things as if they weren’t. His smoldering irritation faded away as he grinned and sniffed at the bag, a playful tint coming to his oceanic blue eyes as his grin grew... dangerous, “You wouldn’t happen to be said breakfast because that doesn’t smell edible, however...” taking another sniff, this time of her, his hands gripping the frame of the door as he leaned over her, his growing form towering over her as he stood just short of six feet. He took a deep whiff of her, the soft perfume she wore smelled of a off brand that he had recommended to her after the success that it had given him during some of his own escapades. He knew she likely didn’t wear it to seduce him, but it was always fun playing with her emotions as it lead to rather... fun moments.

As for my work, she should be leaving soon, but I wasn’t aware of a mission. Did you go and bring little old me a treat for promoting? You shouldn’t have Himari...” his tone was definitely more playful than what Himari would have remembered, not so much insulting as it was hinting at something else. He acted far more mysterious than what the young woman would have remembered before he left for Konoha. Of course it was possible for people to change over periods of time, but in the end he could just be fucking with her as usual.
