Taking place at the historic Blossoming Pillars Stadium (Jūhi Dōhyō), the final rounds of the Exams forego the tricks and surprises of earlier, making way for an arena that is both iconic and neutral. In spite of a modest 25m radius, this arena is no less grand than those which preceded it, boasting stands that raise high above for observers to watch the anticipated final matches and a fighting zone where legendary heroes and Kage once fought. A dusty circle surrounded by sparse shrubs and a high wall encloses combatants, who enter from opposite ends of the arena, the crowd roars, the Chūnin Exams draw to a close.

The albino puppet-nin would walk into the stadium once again, he took in the sights acknowledging that this could be his last time on this stage. He inhaled deeply taking in the smell of the sweet air around him. The Konoha really did have the freshest air out of anywhere he'd been. Bare feet in the dirt would be joined by a second pair of feet at his left, and a sharp warfan digging into the ground behind the statuesque maiden's armored boots. To his right a large, serpentine figure crawled into the arena beside of him, its weight digging into the ground beneath as it quickly made its way to his side. Slowly one last massive figure would make its way onto the stadium behind its master. It too was bare foot. The hulking figure wielded what seemed to be a slab of rock fashioned into a sword.

From the puppeteer's right sleeve is where the puppet strings attached to the aforementioned puppets all originated. Yasubei would open a clenched left hand as he entered the field and two cicadas made from his chakra would attach to Lamya's Fang and Winter Rose. They'd burrow from the Winter Rose's hand to her back before hiding at the base of her skull, and from Lamya's Fangs side to the top of its spine to the base of its skull. The horned ninja would lift his arm pointing a single finger at Kashiki and whisper "Tsubaki, Deliver him to Jormungand," and the blonde would fall to a single knee. Then he'd whisper "Jormungand, Hold him," and the snake would go limp as the chakra strings detached from them and crept into the Ogre's back.

A black haired puppet similar in appearance to Yasubei, wielding a sword, would would hide within the Sand Stalker as it and the Little Tiger rode onto the battlefield. Yasu would wait patiently to see how his opponent would engage before he made another move, simply stroking the large serpent back and forth with sharp, black painted nails. He'd barely survived each of these fights. The cheering masses in the ring who had seen him in previous clashes earlier in the exams would see a fire in his eyes that hadn't been there before. Yasubei was determined to win.

Description: This Puppet was modeled after Yasubei's on body. Though it doesn't have a chakra circulatory system that would make it viable for being a Human Puppet, it remains highly viable in specific situations. There is a three inch diameter hole in its chest that securely holds his chakra core. This body is barefoot with the words "Property of Semi" written on the bottom of his right foot, and "Return to owner promptly" on his left foot.

On the left side of the puppet’s face there is a helmet like protrusion that with a 12 inch bull like horn. The fingers and toes on this body end in sharp talon like claws that can rip or pierce 3/4 of an inch into flesh. The teeth in this bad boy’s maw are all pointed like that of a carnivore’s and can each pierce up to 1.5 inches into flesh.

This form is the same height and weight as Yasubei’s D-Rank puppet body. This forms other pigment based differences include his right eye, which has a black sclera and a yellow iris, as well as his hair which is the same alabaster as his skin.

Ability/Function: This weapon can hold up to 4 charges of ammunition. The ammunition used for this mod must be specifically made to be used with pressurized water cutters or water throwers.

This mod can takes up two separate slots. Each slot has a different function, but they use the same pool of ammunition.

  1. This function uses a charge of ammunition and launches a powerful 1/2 inch diameter stream that moves at 25 m/s per second up to 60 meters.

  2. This function uses a charge of ammunition and launches 4 senbon-like darts one after the other that each move at 35 m/s per second up to 40 meters.

Appearance: This ebony horn on top of Yasu's head is fitted with many contraptions that launch liquids at his enemies.
History: Yasu thought it was time to have a combat upgrade.

Ability/Function: This ammunition is meant to be used with Myself [Close Combat Form]'s Segaki no Tsuno mod. The little orbs have no capability of being used to damage without being used as ammunition. A  bead that is crushed will produce 1 liter of regular, mundane water over the course of 1 post.

  1. When used through function 1 it causes messy 1.5 inch cuts at any point it contacts flesh.
  2. When used through function 2 it pierces 2.5 inch deep into flesh causing wounds of senbon size.

Appearance: It is a little blue gel bead about the size of a marble. It is filled with compressed water.
History: Yasu needed to make storage of liquids more convenient, so he conceived an aesthetic solution.

Ogre is a two and a half meter tall giant befitting his name. His stature is built to imply a musculature that hides the inner workings of his form. He is built to operate in Kaze no Kuni as a cover for Yasubei. He has dark brown, tanned skin over him and a long black mane of hair. It is obvious a great amount of effort was put into making this being look alive.

Ability/Function: This modification hollows out the insides of the Ogre giving him the ability to hold a person or objects within. The puppet can "breathe" to release air or other vapors from inside or to intake new vapors (preferably air) by unsealing the cavity from what is effectively its windpipe. Conversely it can "hold its breath" sealing the cavity once more. For those who know about the storage area, it is rather easy to break out of, requiring a basic strike or jutsu of any rank. This cavity opens and closes from the back.
Appearance: This cramped space is a cylinder approximate 2 and a half feet wide and three feet tall. It is smooth on the inside and tightly sealed. Two tubes with teeny fans in them extend up to Ogre's nose and mouth, and are two inches in diameter and four inches respectively. "Storage Unit" can hold 8 minutes worth of breathable air, and half as much with a person inside. Its wall are four inches thick.
History: Sometimes you need a hidey hole.

Any strikes of 2 ranks higher than the armor bypass its defensive abilities entirely.

Red Moon:

Ability/Function:This fragile blade is a clear imitation of a true katana. The blade is incredibly dull, and cannot cut more than ¾ of an inch into even the softest flesh. Basic attacks of equal rank or below blocked by Red Moon do 2 ranks less in damage, and such strikes of 1 rank higher do 1 rank less in damage. Any strikes of 2 ranks higher than the Red Moon bypass its defensive abilities entirely, requiring the Mod to be reforged. Bladed attacks of equal rank or lower [D-Rank] are negated entirely.

This Mod Sacrifices some of the puppet’s overall Reaction Time in order to allow it to use this mod. -1 Reaction Time. 
Appearance: This is mod is a simple onyx katana with ten meters of chain that can coil around a spool in Yasubei’s right arm. 
History: Red Moon was originally meant to provide Yasubei with just a bit of protection.

Ability/Function: This weapon pulls from reserves of water stored within Yasubei’s chest in order to send out a thin string-like beam of water from either or both of his palms. Alternatively he can shoot the water from just his mouth. This concentrated stream of water can pierce up to 3/4 of an inch into flesh or (cut  if it is moving). The water blast out of Yasubei at a rate of up to 11 m/s to a maximum distance of 20 meters. This thin powerful stream of water can easily pierce through a single technique of E rank.

The liquid needed for this mod is stored in Yasubei’s “lungs” which can each hold 3 liters. At the start of the thread they each hold three liters of regular water. Each post that Yasubei uses this mod reduces his reserves by one liter per hose being used.

Alternatively Yasubei can expunge 3 liters of liquid out of his mouth for a single post at a rate of 15 m/s in a 4 m diameter, 4 m long cone that does nothing but soak the area and anything in it in the stored liquid.

The water used by this mod can either be replaced by ambient liquids in the environment by using either hand at a rate of one liter per hand per post, his mouth for three liters per post, or via jutsu. This can be done with simultaneously with any of the above abilities so long as one body part isn’t performing multiple jobs. (Ex: It isn’t possible to absorb and shoot with one hand, but such a feat could be performed with two.)
Appearance: When coming out of his mouth this weapon looks like a water jutsu’s being used. When coming out of his hands a small hole opens up in the center of them.
History: Water is a very versatile tool as easily displayed by this weapon.
Little Tiger:

Description: The little black bird-like bodies of this puppet stand at 16 inches tall. It has little red claws that can pierce 2.5 inches into flesh. It has an adorable skull for a head which vaguely resembles that of an antelope.

History: This tail is surprisingly useful.

Ability/Function: While there are a vast array of uses for corpses for a medic-nin, this corpse’s main function is to be used as a puppet. When controlled by a technique such as the Academy Puppet Technique or another puppet strings technique, this corpse can be used like a Bunraku puppet equal rank. [This puppet has no jutsu of its own as it’s soul or whatever has moved on. Furthermore it has none of the mods a Bunraku Puppet would have.]

This corpse’s smell has been eliminated for aesthetic reasons, it doesn’t reek. If the corpse isn’t being controlled by a jutsu it is easy to tell using most senses that this is a trained ninja’s corpse.

After studying the secrets of this animal’s’s body Yasubei was able to gain an in depth understanding of the techniques used by it in life. This corpse retains C-0 stats when animated by Kugutsu or similar techniques.
Appearance: This massive 25 m long snake is missing flesh in a lot of places as a result of the battle that led to its demise. It is about two meters high when it lays on the ground.

History:This corpse was collected by Yasubei during one of the many battles leading up to the battle of Inabayama, This corpse belonged to a pet of one of the Ryuujin, a criminal that inhabited the deserts of Kaze no kuni shortly after the fall of Sunagakure.  

Winter Rose:

Her build is telling of all the work that she put into being a shinobi, and with a little medical magic (read: lots of time, care, effort, and chakra), Yasubei has been able to keep her in a relatively good condition. She still bears the armor that she wore before dying, though it is rather purposeless now. Her face is expressionless and cold. She stands at 5’11” and is about the same build as the average kunoichi.

History:This corpse was collected by Yasubei during one of the many battles leading up to the battle of Inabayama, based of of the stuff she was carrying her name was Mikaboshi, Tsubaki.
“Petals”:

Name: Falling Petals
Type Of Weapon: Giant Fan [Requires Giant War Fan Sub-spec]

Ability/Function: This item isn’t made to deal damage directly instead it blows powerful gusts of wind that smell faintly of camellias. These gusts are one meter in diameter spheres, with distortion that is easily visible to the eyes, and they can go up to 25 meters with the speed of the spheres depending on the user’s reaction time. These winds are capable of knocking away projectiles, thrown items, and people, and they are C-Rank projectiles (a D-Rank piece of heavy armor reduces this fan’s effect). Any armor that would reduce the impact/bludgeoning of a C-Rank weapon by any amount can reduce the effects of the wind (see below). Instead of doing damage on an impact, the impact does up to three meter knockback causing very light bruising.

The metal edges on the fan are bladed and capable of 3/4 inch cuts.

Drawback: This weapon requires at least D-3 strength to create projectiles with it.

This weapon is unable to inhibit or interrupt chakra enhanced projectiles.

If the target is able to get an anchor point (such as a wall, another shinobi, or a tree) they can ignore the effects of the projectiles used by this weapon if their Strength is equal to or higher than a projectiles interaction rate after any reductions from armor or jutsu ( Typically C-Rank or higher armor).
Appearance: This two meter long fan is effectively a rusty, once-golden iron bo-staff with a frame shaped like a gourd or a butterfly down most of length. At its widest it is a meter wide, and it is filled in with a thin sheet of metal.

History: This fan is but a lingering mockery of the Mikaboshi’s Giant Folding Fans as it is incapable of comparing to them in any way shape or form, and this is mostly due to Yasu’s need to make it compatible with his puppets.

Catalyst: At least one corpse
Description: During the prep post, the user of this technique creates a chakra string before shaping it into the shape of a cicada nymph within 5 meters of themselves instilling it with one of the simple commands listed below or more intricate commands provided by other jutsu. This critter seperates itself from the chakra string ot originated from. It then comes to life burrowing itself into the ground towards, crawling to, or flying to a corpse within range at 10 m/s. The user can create additional cicadas for an fifteen chakra each on the initial post. Once a cicada enters a corpse the prep phase for that cicada ends (it may take multiple posts for the nymph to get to the corpse in extreme circumstances and the prep phase only ends after the required one post duration). The cicada is capable of burrowing through solid rock, concrete, sand, and other earthen materials.

On the post immediately after a corpse has been inhabited it rises as a puppet with the stats and loses all of its stats and gains tier zero stats equal to the catalyst item’s rank up to D-3. It capable of moving at up to 10 m/s and can deal 1/4 inch cuts/piercing or minor bruising with up to five meter knockback (whichever is more appropriate for their body). It executes its command to the best of its ability. Using basic taijutsu, and any weapons it may have on its person still.

The cicada hides burrowed at the base of the corpses skull directly on the bone. Any offensive jutsu targeting that spot specifically can be used to end the jutsu’s effects on a particular corpse. The cicada corpses last until the end of this jutsu’s duration.  

Below is a list of commands innately provided by this jutsu. Other commands can be issued with separate jutsu.
Available Commands:


  • Approach: The corpse moves within a meter of a target and will do its best to maintain that distance violently retaliating against those who would attempt to stop it
  • Follow: The corpse stalks a target over long distances defending itself if necessary never purposefully getting within 20 meters, but going out if its way to do as little harm as possible.
  • Kill: This command is simple. The corpse uses the entirety of its arsenal to destroy the target at any cost.
  • Protect: The corpse stays close to a target attacking any who approach within a 20 meters of it.
  • Fight: The corpse engages in combat with any and all targets who come within five meters of it.
  • Deliver: The corpse takes a target to a place the user is familiar with or has knowledge of. The user must be able to know how to more or less get there.
  • Sit: The corpse finds a spot that could be regarded as comfortable and mimics reading a book, eating, napping, or drinking.
  • Steal: The corpse attempts to grab a target and keep it at least 20 m from anyone it can see.
  • Hold: The corpse attempts to bind a target keeping it in place and preventing it from acting.

Description: This jutsu generates long, fibrous, malleable chakra strings from each of the user's fingers. They are partially intangible to prevent tangling; this jutsu cannot be used to bind people. The condensed chakra takes a hue of variable color depending on the user. Use of this technique on puppets is only available to those with the Kugutsu specialty. However, people without skill in Puppetry can still generate chakra strings to control weapons they have the specializations to wield, within 30m. This consists of whipping them around like a flail or yo-yo, or controlling their path of travel when thrown. Unless durability is enhanced by a separate technique, these chakra strings can be broken by any D rank technique that causes blunt force, cutting, or piercing damage.

This technique cannot control living people; it can only control corpses, or Human Puppets currently in the user's locker.

3 Types of Strings:
The following applies not to the rank of the jutsu, but rather the rank and the skill level of the user.

Multiple control:
The chakra strings at this rank are more tailored to controlling the base functions of many puppets as opposed to putting an astounding amount of effort into the control of few. Using this technique depending on the user's rank they are able to control up to 10 puppets, though the trade off is each of them operate at the user's speed and reaction time, -1 rank. (Stat increases from items and jutsu do not count towards this. However, those from clans do.)

E rank = 2 puppets
D rank = 3
C rank = 4
B rank = 6
A rank = 8
S rank = 9
SS rank = 10



Balanced Control:
Using more focused control on the puppets the user wields they are able to focus more into their puppets movement, and therefore they no longer receive the negative influence to their speed that the mass control strings had. However, the puppets still receive -1 to reaction time and less puppets are able to operate at this capacity per rank.

Focused control:
The user, with these strings, is able to literally control their puppets with such mastery as if they were basically human themselves. The concentration at this level requires they dedicate themselves into only one or two puppets, but they operate without any negatives what so ever, and move at the user's speed and reaction times.

The Bracket Finals! This was miles beyond where Kashiki had planned on making it and he didn't plan on stopping here. A grin had been plastered on his face the entire day as he prepared for this match. After putting on his armor and cleaning his blade he was ready, or, atleast as ready as he was ever going to be. He stepped out into the sunlight of the arena, his poncho's brilliant colors catching the sun once more as he threw it to the side and prepared the substitution technique. The crowds cheered, perhaps not for him as his opponent was already standing at the opposite side of the arena, surrounded by corpses and puppets. '...puppets, he's not a puppeteer is he, those can be a pain' the swordsman thought as he readied himself. His opponent hadn't moved except for attaching strings to his puppets, he seemed to be watching Kashiki and waiting for his move.

Never one to disappoint Kashiki would make the first move, dropping a hand into a pouch on his waist and pulling out a pair of flash grenades and a metsubushi. He placed the metsubushi in his other hand and dashed towards his opponent, once his opponent's puppets reacted or once he reached the middle of the arena he would prime the flash grenades and an instant after throw the metsubushi at his opponent before shutting his own eyes. This combo would be quite hard to react to without disadvantages and while it's main purpose was to blind his opponent it also served as a way for Kashiki to move into a better position. Immediately after his hands were free of the grenades and metsubushi they would begin weaving into the seals for the Still Wind Cloaking technique. If his opponent was blinded they would most likely be unable to detect him before he finished the jutsu, which would also be true if they covered their eyes due to the flash grenade's slight delay. Now cloaked in obscuring wind, Kashiki made a flanking dash, to the side of his opponent that Ogre was not on (or his opponent's left if Ogre was directly behind him). If his opponent and his puppets stayed clustered together after all this time he would weave the hand seals and perform the Unseen Earthen Volcano technique. If the group spread out Kashiki would draw a kunai and attempt to drive it into his opponent's side right inbetween the ribs and waist, if the attack seemed like it was going to land he would use the Dragonfly Scar technique in hopes of taking his opponent out with this one blow.

Description: Still Wind Cloaking This jutsu is used to hide the user allowing for escape but also improved combat capabilities. The user channels minuscule amounts of futon and katon chakra into the air, causing the user to appear invisible as the chakra disrupts the air around them hiding them. Additionally the moving wind distorts sound waves, blocking them from discovering the user of this jutsu unless they rank of the sensory jutsu using sound wave based detection is c rank or higher. The katon chakra also causes a blur around the effect causing it to blend better, however the blur is easily noticeable by those with perception of C-0 rank and up (this sees through the entire stealth jutsu, not just the blur. Even at first glance it looked like the puppet-nin's opponent was just as serious about winning this match as he was. As his opponent began making his towards Yasu, the puppet-nin's eyes trailed between the two corpses. and before a second could pass Yasu would grab the Winter Rose's fan and prepare to meet his opponent face to face before the sound of shuffling would cause him to pause. In that moment of hesitation the two corpses, springing to life would charge towards their quarry.  Yasu would relinquish his grip on the warfan and allow its rightful owner to take retrieve it from his grasp.

Yasu would watch calmly as the two corpses about a second behind the Hattori-nin would make their way towards him intent on fulfilling their task. They wouldn't make it to him though, not before Kashiki pulled out a couple of small hand held items. These ninja tools weren't aimed for the two quickly approaching him. Instead the three projectiles were flying his way. Without hesitation the wind ninja pulled four senbon from his pouch aimed not to stop the projectiles, but divert there course. The senbon would ricochet off of the flash bombs diverting them towards the outside of the stage still making it difficult to see, but not disabling his vision entirely as his opponent cast a jutsu and became transparent.

Though his corpses would be unable to see the stealthed opponent Yasu's eye were just able to pick up on him and mostly because his eyes jerked towards the movement of his opponent. With Kashiki a little less than half way accros the field Yasu was put in a position where he would have to act since his corpses would be unable to do anything in these conditions. In his peripherals he could easily see them already looking around for a target they'd never find. Yasubei wouldn't give Kashiki the time he needed to close in. He would dash to his right suddenly as Ogre and the two puppets within its storage unit moved perfectly in sync behind him.

Tsubaki, the Winter Rose, moved to do as her master had instructed her up to that point. When the target disappeared though, had she still been living she most likely would have been visibly flustered, but there wasn't enough time for that. As her master watched the cloaked ninja move in on him, the insect controlling her actions would evolve. As her flesh began to balloon and swell she'd rapidly draw a single line down her shoulder. This would cause a long jet of poisonous material to blast its way at its target's left leg. The vitrolic gas would cause minor first degree burns anywhere it made contact with flesh. Yasubei would keep circling to stay at least 20 meters away from his opponent, assuming his opponent followed him. Tsubaki having received the updated command of Kill. Would now begin sending moving in a straight line towards Kashiki At C-1 speed.

This jutsu is a variant of Mizūmi ni suwatte  and requires that a catalyst already be controlled with Mizūmi ni suwatte or a variant. A cicada nymph created by Mizūmi ni suwatte or a variant sheds its shell and reestablishes control devouring its previous shell. The cannibalized target’s host’s stats are set to C-1 and the Corpse gains C-Rank durability if it is not an item owned by the caster. The cicada sits at the base of the corpse’s skull and can be destroyed with a D-Rank or higher jutsu specifically targeting it. This jutsu can control a corpse as if it were a puppet for this jutsu’s duration.

Over the duration of this technique the targeted corpse slowly bloats as the cicada manipulating it begins cannibalizing its chakra and its hosts biomatter to inflate its cells with a nerve assaulting white, poisonous mist. Whenever the skin of the targeted catalyst breaks (typically from cuts, piercing, or powerful burns) a 25 meter long jet the size and shape of the break erupts from the hosting corpse at 20 m/s causing minor first degree burns at the point of contact and applying the Haemophilia Spec. Characteristic in any area touched by the poisonous mist. At the end of the post the jet ends and the wound seals.

'Well, this sucks' Kashiki thought as he turned back to the puppets, only to see one inflating and staring directly at him. His hands instinctively wove the hand seals for the Lesser Hellfire Cloak while leaping away from it. The cloak of maroon and purple flame surrounded him as the corpse puppet cut its shoulder open, sending a steam of poisonous gas aimed for Kashiki's leg. The gas flowed around the flaming armor, the blaze licking at and burning the gas. Kashiki drew a kunai and dashed at the stationary corpse, hopefully using the surprise of the sudden usage of the defense and the failure of the attack to land a hit on the puppet, activating the Dragonfly Scar jutsu if the attack would land, taking the corpse out of commission. After dealing with that corpse puppet he would move to the unsuspecting snake, driving his kunai into it ending its half life as well.

With the troublesome puppets out of the way it was time to deal with his opponent and the larger puppet that was staying close to him. Kashiki dashed forwards, trying to get as close to his target as possible. From his belt he drew 5 shuriken and, using his own knowledge of the chakra string technique, created a thread of chakra on each finger and linked each to a separate shuriken. Kashiki threw the small projectiles, at first it might seem like they were aimed for the giant puppet, but their real target was the threads of chakra connecting the puppet to his opponent. He would use his own threads to assure the wind surrounding the shuriken would cut the threads. While this was going on Kashiki would use his other hand to draw, prime, and throw another flash bomb at his opponent. Kashiki would continue trying to close the distance as these actions happened, running for the hulking puppet following his opponent. Kashiki would then pull the shuriken around and bring them at the hopefully stationary puppet in an attempt of destroying it.

The Hattori's instincts were stunning, the decision to look over his shoulder saving him from burns as he went through hand seal resulting in a full blown chakra mantle complete with raging heat and a tengu mask. As the stream of gas burned up on the mantle, Yasu watched as his opponent turned to strike back at the corpse. Yasu would shoot one senbon made of water aimed at Kash's chest and one to where Yasu expected his chest to move to as he moved to strike Tsubaki. These darts would move at 55 m/s and could very possibly close the distance between Yasu and Kashiki in the time it take him to pierce Tsubaki. They were shot in rapid succession one after the other reducing the opportunity for Kashiki's escape.

Regardless of whether or not the Tsubaki's masters attack hit or missed, her fate would be sealed. Tsubaki couldn't choose to ignore the orders she'd been given, so reacting defensively wasn't an option for her. As Kashiki closed in on Tsubaki the corpse would swing her fan attempting a futile strike with the bladed edge of the weapon, one that Yasu was sure could be parried. When Kashiki's kunai made contact with the corpse he'd find it was nowhere near as resilient to a regular human body. His blade could easily pierce through her armor and her entirely.

Yasu would blink as he watched Tsubaki's corpse go limp and a kunai pierce into her sternum. An mantle of chakra would begin to enshroud him as he used his body management and advance jutsu combination to close the distance between himselfand Kashiki at 35 m/s  as the kunai plunged into her. Yasu would aim an open palm strike with his claws curled inwards at the center of Kashiki's back. This strike would use the Legendary front hand technique to launch his opponent 5 meters away from both the center of the field and from Jormungand who would begin closing in on the two fighting nin. A successful hit would be able to end the Hell Fire Cloak if it was still active as well as allow Yasu's claws to pierce 3/4 of an inch into his opponents back. If the jutsu went through though Kash would also be pushed five meters back. Whether he hit with the claw strike, missed, or Kashiki swapped places with his poncho, Yasu would line up another two shots with the butterfly piercing technique, both moving just as fast as the last two, able to hit virtually anywhere on the stage and both aimed to pierce 3.5 inches into his chest.

Description: Yasu focuses chakra into his feet, concentrating it almost to the point of solidifying it. Creating a visible disturbance that last for a fraction of a second before he flashsteps in a single burst of movement to a point within range.

Without a sufficiently high Perception it is easy to lose track of him, and for him to lose track of his surroundings. Perception of one rank higher (than the rank that the jutsu was cast at) allows for blurry sight, while two ranks higher allows for clear and accurate vision. He is unable to attack or defend during the movement granted to him by this jutsu, but he is very capable of doing so immediately after the movement. Though he typically initaites this jutsu from a casual standing position, and arrives at his destination in the same position, this technique can be used during the wind up of an attack or after/during the formation of seals of a jutsu.

The blade pierced the corpse puppet, ending it's half-life. Unannounced to the swordsman, two small senbon of water shot through the air, unable to react due to his inability to detect them, the two pierced his chest. The coat of flames was no match for the powerful needles of water and it too was destroyed by the attack as the needles pierced his flesh, the first digging into his flesh before striking a rib while he was able to react to the second slightly all that did was allow him to move his torso out of the way causing it to pierce into the front of his shoulder. He turned in the direction of the attacks and watched as a cloak of orange-ish red energy. Kashiki's hands begin weaving the hand seals for the Unseen Earthen Volcano technique, finishing just as his opponent dashed forwards. It would be impossible for his opponent to dodge due to the chakra enhanced movement and incinerating his puppet body. Kashiki would raise his hands for protection on instinct, but that would most likely not be required.

A mantle of chakra would begin to enshroud him as he used Tai-Sabaki buffed by the speed boosting Advance jutsu to close the distance between himself and Kashiki in little more than half a second as the kunai plunged through Tsubaki's chest. Yasubei's red tinted vision would put him face to face with Kashiki as he turned around after stabbing Tsubaki and began his hand seals. With just a little more chakra, Yasu's clawed left hand would snap up moving 10 m/s faster than it normally could attempting to grab the ninja's hand if he committed to the seal, effectively stopping subsequent seals if he was successful. He didn't know the nature of Kashiki's jutsu, so he wasn't going wait for his opponent to finish his hands seals and try to block a jutsu point blank easily.

If Yasu grabbed the opposing ninja he'd swing his hand high over his head twisting his torso slightly as he attempted to swing Kashiki over his head by his hand. Yasu would lift his left knee making the motions of a kick to Kashiki's face letting go of the ninja's hand as his momentum was heading downwards towards his foot. The kick would disappear as it harmlessly would move through its target if he would be there to be hit. As the chakra cloaked puppet nin would vanish. Simultaneously, as he released the hand, Yasubei would move up to 5 meters away at 35 m/s to put his left foot on Tsubaki's back, shooting a thin focused beam of water at Kashiki as a scroll unfurled from his right hand and the corpse disappeared in a poof. If he missed he would simply move 5 meters away at 35 m/s to put his left foot on Tsubaki's back regardless and seal Tsubaki.

As the two ninja clashed a two meter wide maw would snap at the Hattori as Jormungand would attempt to engulf him whole. The snake would strike at its once invisible prey that was now back in its sights. With a dramatic lunge it would attempt to glut itself with its prey. Yasubei would observe the snake's behavior wondering if it would be able to take on the opposing ninja on its own. Yasubei would be watching closely. If the ninja dodged the snake Yasu would reach out grabbing his fan and send a one meter orb at him.

Kashiki's hands wove into the seals, finishing the second as a hand clamped down on his wrist. While it was sudden, his opponent was at a disadvantage in raw strength, but he wouldn't show that yet, allowing him to think he was grappling him for an instant. Kashiki's left leg darted outwards and would attempt to hook his opponent's leg, keeping them close. If his opponent didn't disengage instantly Kashiki would use his strength to pull his hand towards his chest and weave the last seal. Immediately after he would launch the ungrappled arm at his opponent's arm that was being used to grapple his own. His own rare strength would likely be able to force his opponent to stay within a literal arm's reach for atleast long enough for his jutsu to take effect. Speaking of, unless his opponent had some way to detect chakra they would be oblivious to the aura of heat that would incinerate their puppet body. Hopefully this exchange would end the match, but that was unlikely with such a determinate and resilient pair of contestants.

The idea that were genin as strong as his puppets was a very familiar concept to Yasubei. He wasn't surprised by the resistance that he felt when he pulled on the other genin to throw him. What he was surprised by was that he was completely powerless to move the other ninja. He was maybe stronger than anyone Yasu had grappled with ever before. Hand to hand with this ninja would definitively not turn out well. As Kashiki went for the leg sweep, Yasu would shift backwards, his after image leaving pressure for a moment longer as Yasu retreated. His right arm would stretch out, latching onto the giant snake that was barrelling towards the duo. He knew he'd have to defend, since close range offense was no longer a feasible option.

A third of the puppet strings coming from Ogre, specifically those attached to the "Myself" puppet. They'd reattach to the the snake corpse keeping it animate as the ghostly chakra cicada phased out of the snake and shattered into a fine powder of chakra. The corpse would snap its mouth around Yasu encasing him in its maw, and a vermillion aura would surround the puppet protecting it. The snake turned its head ever so slightly so that it was now facing Ogre and would spit out it's master as Yasubei moved at 35 m/s until he was next to Ogre. Yasubei would land ready to spring again still worried about defending from whatever that technique the Hattori may have used.

Yasubei would considered going on the offensive again as he realized that the nature of his opponent's technique wasn't immediately apparent. That being said he'd send Ogre forward at 11 m/s taking about a full second to close in on the Hattori-nin. As that happened, Yasu would send the massive snake to continually pursue its target, its massive maw striking at Kashiki to attempt to put him in its mouth. Yasu would side step making sure to stay just within 25 meters of Kashiki for optimal control of his puppets. Having little to nothing to lose from it Yasu would line up at an angle from Ogre and create a thin beam of water from his horn aiming to cut Kashiki's calves. It'd move at 25 m/s and cut 1.5 inches into Kashiki's legs on the off chance it hit. If Ogre managed to get with 2 meters of Kashiki it would swing its sword to make contact with Kashiki just at his ribs the it'd swing again at his shoulder aiming for both of the genin's injuries. If Jormungand managed to get Kashiki in its mouth, Yasubei would activate Impel Down.

Description: Yasubei is shunted in a straight line in a direction of his choice for up to 35 meters at a speed of 25 m/s (Yasubei is Limited to cannot attack or defend during this forced movement) out of a puppet that he was inside of. This can be used on either his body or his core. This jutsu strengthens the puppet so that it can shield Yasubei and the puppet against one technique of equal rank to this jutsu or two of a lower rank.   

After being released from the puppet Yasubei can spend five additional chakra to gain +1 tier to speed for the duration of this jutsu.

Description: This jutsu reinforces a puppet from the inside, make it near impossible to escape from within a puppet without using jutsu while simultaneously gassing the target to make them comply. The user selects a puppet within range that has a container, mouth, or similar unit and that can fit the target inside. Once inside of the puppet the jutsu reinforces and protects the puppet from one B-Rank or 2 C-Rank jutsu. It takes B-0 strength to break out.

Once the container is sealed shut a dense, thick, poisonous fume spreads from the edges of the container at 10 m/s replacing the oxygen and making the air unbreathable. This jutsu's poison requires three posts to knock a contained target unconscious. The medical ninjutsu in the fumes keep the target from dying, putting a character who would reach their lethal damage threshold from suffocation into a state of unconsciousness instead. They automatically awaken from this unconsciousness the post after the jutsu ends or if they otherwise escape from the container.

The grasp around his wrist lightened, but it was to late. His hand formed the final seal and intense heat filled the radius of the Unseen Earthen Volcano. The snake corpse slithering 5m away from Kashiki was almost certainly incinerated, the skin crackling as juices leaked out. It might actually smell tasty if it wasn't a corpse. As was his opponent, while he was fast he couldn't outrun this technique, his body was also nearly guaranteed to be incinerated by the flames as two kunai were flung towards him.

If his opponent made it to the snake somehow before the jutsu was completed the same would hold true, the snake would be incinerated as would it's owner. He had put up a good fight, Kashiki's favorite so far but that might just be because it was a ninja from his homeland. Seeing how strong Sunagakure shinobi were instilled the swordsman with pride and hardened his resolve for what he planned to do in the finals.

The snake he was controling would be commanded to rear up as it burst into flames, but it would be too late for it as it began burning away to ash revealing Yasu to the world around him once more. Yasubei would observe as the fan he left behind, that Tsubaki lodged in the ground slowly burned up into cinder from bottom to top. It must have been what assaulted his snake. As he fell to the ground he reorient himself allowing his mop of hair to protect him from whatever dangers may have awaited him. as he was of the belief that the danger may have come from below he would land back first into the ground beneath. He'd unleash a full arsenal of his Needle Jizo jutsu both defending and attacking.

The magnificent albino hair on his back would erupt in a torrent of motion as It would increase to cover the entire length of his back as senbon like protrusions grew out of it stabbing into the earth itself. This alone would surround him in a coccoon of safety, but the hair never stopped growing. Yasu's eyes and horn would remain exposed through the cocoon of hair as it continued to expand and Yasu tried to catch a glimpse of his opponent. Two senbon of hair would shoot at each of the other genin's thighs (four total) specifically his femoral artery, two would shoot at his liver, to would go for his wind pipe, and two would aim for his chest. Each senbon would fly at 15 m/s and pierce 1 1/4 inches into flesh if they hit. If Yasu's hair was allowed to expand freely it would cover the ground in a half meter deep forest of hair in a four meter radius around him.

As he shot the senbon with his hair he would also reactivate the butterfly piercing technique creating a line of water that would aim to bisect vertically Kashiki from his neck down, tracing along his spine. cutting 2.5 inches into him. Yasu would leap from his prone position towards Kashiki, the needles following him at 19 m/s breathing heavily, an exhausted look on his face. Yasu would fight till the last second, cuz that was aesthetic even if his desperation looked unappealing.

Additionally when this jutsu is used with another Needle Jizō technique, the user can spend an additional 5 chakra to increase the damage done by the other active Needle Jizō techniques by 3/4 of an inch.
