Spoiler:
Mission name: Stop that Thief! (Repeatable)
Mission rank: C
Objective: Stop the thief.
Location: Konoha
Reward: 300
Mission description: You're walking down the Market when you hear someone shouting for you to catch the thief; which you then see running away. Your job is to chase down and stop the thief, bring back the stolen goods, and then hand the thief off to the proper authorities.
Mission details: The thief is an Academy wash out who will absolutely refuse to give you his name. He has no skill minus basic Taijutsu knowledge and E3 stats, though he'll be more worried about running away and trying to escape than actually fighting you. However, if you do physically restrain him then he will likely attempt to fight you off, though it will be a pathetic attempt. Retrieve the stolen goods from his pockets so you can return them after he is handed over to the proper authorities and your job will be done.

Hina was out on patrol again. She had been very much enjoying her break from training but now she was missing the pressure to actually accomplish something. If she was lucky the day would breeze by and she wouldn’t be bothered. If her luck was extremely good she could doze off for a couple minutes or hours. She must have slept against the building for about ten minutes when she was abruptly woken up. “Can you help me?” it was a child’s voice and her pants were being tugged at. Hina rubbed the dust from her eyes and squatted down to look at the girl at eye level.

“Sure I can help you, what’s wrong?” Hina knelt down to look the child at eye level. She absent mindedly brushed the kid’s hair out of her eyes and tried to comfort her. The child gave Hina a big hug and let out a couple of sobs. “You poor thing,” Hina said compassionately, “you have to tell me what’s wrong for me to help.”

“I’m lost, can you help me back home?” The little girl was tearing up but Hina was going to help as best as she could. They talked about where she lived and Hina was easily able to carry the girl to her house. Her parent’s hadn’t even noticed their child was gone which was annoying. Hina resisted the urge to tell them off because she was representing the shinobi.

Hina was about to go back to her dozing but something was off. She couldn’t quite put her finger on it, but everything was too quiet for her comfort. She looked around and saw that many people around her looked very put off as well. The ground rumbled a little and Hina peered down the road to see a massive wagon rolling down the road, smashing into other wagons and forcing people to flee. As it drew closer, Hina saw that two people were fighting on top of the wagon, somehow managing to both hold onto it and throw attacks at the same time.

Hina wished she had jutsu prepared to handle this situation but she didn’t. She was forced to watch as the wagon crashed into the side of a building. When the wagon stopped moving, one of the people on the wagon emerged with a purple looking jewel. He was dressed in regular clothing, but it was very different from anything she had ever seen in Konoha. He might have even been a visitor. There was a pretty good chance that this person was not affiliated with the military at all. Hina gave chase, as this looked very much like a theft to her. She closed in on him as he navigated around the rubble and she called for him to stop. The lighting was poor due to the time of day so she had a very hard time picking out details from far away. Now that she was close, she could get a better view.

She saw fine details of a face partially hidden behind a bandana. Hina saw a partially burned face. Well that was why he was covering up as much as possible. One mystery solved. The man’s eyes were a fiery red, not unlike her own. Those eyes distracted Hina away from the fight and made her ponder what this guy’s deal was. One thing was for sure and it was that Hina saw nothing but mischievous intent in those eyes.

The criminal was desperate, as they usually were. Without warning, he threw a feint on the left flank, before turning his elbow completely to raise his prize into the air and tried to slash at Hina’s chin with the gem. As the gem headed for Hina, the criminal put his free hand on the ground, and turned with it to kick her in the abdomen. Someone defending a blade a split second before had little chance to dodge such a mix up. Then there was the complication of the kick. Hina wished she could have prepared for it but she ended up taking the blow. She’d been read like a takeout menu. She slammed into the wall and held up her hands, ready to counter attack. The thief had other plans though and made his escape as other people started to arrive. He left so quickly that Hina couldn’t even see where he had gone. This would have been a lot simpler if this hadn’t happened in this time of day.

There was chaos while everything started getting sorted out. Miraculously, no people had died but many were injured. Some horses had gotten literally crushed by the rolling wagon and Hina estimated there were thousands of ryo of damages to be paid out.

Out from on top of the wagon came the person who had been battling the thief to begin with. “He went that way!” he shouted and Hina was the one who would give chase. She wished she had some help so she wouldn’t have to catch this bugger all on her own…

“Arigatōgozaimashita!” The chime of a nuclear family rang as Suutei exited the small grocery store.  A brown paper bag in one hand, and his other hand flinging the heavy metal door open. He turned to face the family who stood behind the counter, waving as the door abruptly hit him on his backside. He flinched just a little from the force of the door, and let out a small chuckle his teeth ever so bright and wide. “Uh oh.” He said as he watched an apple fall from the top of the bag and roll into the street. Stepping from in front of the shop's door in order for it to close. Mindful, he took a stepped down into the sidewalk, and aimed to retrieve his lost fruit from the street. Until suddenly a speeding cart came flying down the pathway. It was only for a second yet he was able to visually capture everything that was transpiring.

It appeared there was a bit of a struggle at the helm of the wagon. The two conflicting parties were not even a bit weary of the unsuspecting patrons. “That’s not going to be good, dinner will have to be put on hold for now.” He mumbled. The young man stomped on the ground with his right foot, from his foot eerie black symbols started creeping from under his feet. These symbols grew in number until they formed a sealing circle around his foot. Suutei held the brown paper bag with both hands, hovering it over the circle of black marking before. He released his hold on the bag and took off after the runaway cart. One would have expected the bag he was holding to hit the ground, possibly spilling out all of its contents. A completely normal inference, IF the bag, hadn’t disappeared beneath the ground.

He gave chase after the runaway cart leaving more and more destruction in its wake. One elderly man was still moseying across the street, Suutei knew he wouldn’t make it in time, but a miracle occurred when another pedestrian helped the man hurry across the street. Luckily, the two of them remained unscathed. The wagon was so close yet so out of reach of his hand that it was actually frustrating, and he was now starting to tire. “Oh shit,” he said panting harder and harder. The wagon was causing more rampage sideswiping passing wagons, injuring nearby pedestrians, and crushing the head of a downed horse. The wagon lost one of its front wheels following the crushing of the horses’ head, causing it to veer hard to the left crashing through the side of a building.

“Just my luck.” He murmured as he approached the crash site shortly after a crowd formed.
“Excuse me.”
“Trying to get through.”
“Pardon me.”

The young man tried shifting through the horde of people surrounding the cart, they were giving him more trouble than he anticipated. From over the heads of a few, he could see someone emerge from the cart. One of the suspects in question emerged from the decimated cart, his face covered by a bandana so identifying him was pointless. “What’s that?” The suspect held firmly in his possession, a purple gem, possibly an amethyst from the looks of it. Although it was odd that someone would go through that much trouble over such a measly gem like that.

From another part of the crowd, a woman came forth with waist length hair. From his angle, he couldn't’ get a good look at her face, but all he could see was her long smooth toned legs. She apparently was confronting the suspect, which meant she was either with the Konoha Police or a Kunoichi. Either way, it made no difference to the thief, as he shoved his way through the hordes of people. Without hesitation, the woman was on him like ‘a fly on shit’.  Suutei backed out of the large crowd moving through more assertively with more urgency than before. He went after the woman in order to assist her, neither of them aware of the suspects' skillset. The thief didn’t get too far away from the crowd, as he attempted to attack the Kunoichi.

The short bout was good enough for him to decipher this thief could hold his own in a fight. He also deduced the Kunoichi wasn’t much of a close combat specialist. Suutei circled around the crowd to check on his comrade in arms, but before he could get to her she was already on after the thief. They both were racing down the alley off to the side of the building, but he was sure that it led to a dead-end. This would allow them to easily corner him, preventing any more mishaps and liabilities. The thief reached the end of the line when he stopped at a brick wall, his back to Suutei and the Kunoichi. “Alright that’s enough,” the young man paused, attempting to catch his breath. “Surrender yourself now!” He commanded.

He took a quick glance at the Kunoichi and she looked roughly around the same age but was nearly half his height. Her hands were wrapped with bandages, similar to the way he used to when he studied Taijutsu. Her clothes, on the other hand, seemed comfortable enough, but as for what her clothes covered it seemed very little. The area around his nose flushed red, glancing at her exposed V-Line unconsciously. It was safe to say that he indeed was attracted to this young woman, but there were far more important things to handle than ogle at a woman. "I was confident you could handle this situation, but I just thought I would come to provide backup." He said in a mellow smooth tone attempting to make side talk.

Hina ran after the thief and it looked like another shinobi had joined into the fray. It wasn’t long before they had cornered the thief and got a chance to catch their breaths. Hina took a moment to look at what the heavens had blessed her with for a partner. It was a younger shinobi for sure, or the same age at the most. Hina assumed this whole arrest was over and done with and was ready to turn her attention to more important things, like her sex life. She was always on the hunt for powerful men and shinobi at her age was usually fit that description. She was one of the straggler shinobi who had taken her sweet time on becoming a soldier and learning the ways of using her energy in creative ways.

The newcomer told her that he trusted she could handle the thief and was only here for backup. Was he testing her? Hina smiled at him and said, “thank you, feel free to jump in if I need some saving.” She gave him a wink and turned her attention to the thief. She could tell that he wished he could just walk up the walls but he was no spiderman. He was a regular criminal with no supernatural abilities as far as she could tell.

“Why don’t you just come with me,” Hina asked seductively, “give back what you’ve taken and we can go have a good time together, just the two of us.” She took a couple of steps forward and played some tricks with her shirt to show off as much skin and cleavage as she could. She gave Suutei a backwards glance as she put on her naughty face. The thief looked genuinely confused. His options were to fight his way through a woman who was coming onto him or give up. Hina pointed to her lips and said, “come on then, let’s have a kiss. You have my word as a shinobi that I won’t hurt you.” The thief held whatever he stole behind his back and stepped forward a couple of times, right into Hina’s outstretched arms. He looked like he was living out some kind of weird dream.

They made out for a couple of seconds and Hina made sure that Suutei could see what kinds of skills she was packing. She broke the kissing and looked into the thief’s eyes and asked, “so what do you say, give me and my friend over there the gem and you and me can have a nice, long night together.” The thief looked back at his gem and his whole body trembled. In his heart and soul he knew that this was too good to be true… but what kind of fucked up shinobi made out with a criminal like that? He truly was confused and lost for words. He gulped and held out the gem to Hina took it in her hands. She looked at it longingly, wondering how much it was worth and for a moment she thought about what she would do with it if she wasn’t a shinobi. She walked back to Suutei, swaying her hips as she did so. She stopped by his side and said, “Okay, the rest is up to you tough guy.” She gave him another wink and gave him a nudge. It was time to see just what this guy was made of.

“Wait, what?” The thief snapped out of his little trance when he realized that it really was too good to be true. He fumbled in his pants for a weapon and started to scale the wall using chakra. He wasn’t very good at it but he definitely possessed the ability to escape.

“Mhmm. Do what you must.” Suutei said while attempting to mask the redness in his cheeks from her whimsical gesture. He stood by watching the young woman approach their suspect, the thief looked extremely desperate for an escape window. He probably would have escaped had he not ventured down this alley. In fact, if he took the time to plan an escape route, he most certainly could have avoided apprehension. The young man found himself devising all kinds of scenarios if he were the thief in this situation, and how he wouldn’t have allowed himself to be cornered like this. Even in this certain predicament, a wall, was nothing more than another path for him to take while he would be making his escape.

The young man found himself so deep in thought he nearly forgot where he was. He turned his attention back towards the Kunoichi approaching the Thief. She seemed to be trying to comfort him, probably to avoid another fight and make him come quietly. ‘Interesting she’s attempting to diffuse a hostile situation, while also minimizing any physical or collateral damage. Nice approach.’ He thought to himself, at least that’s what he believed was this young woman’s intention while approaching the thief. It almost sounded like she was attempting to strike a deal with the thief. Unless his ears were playing tricks on him it almost sounded like she was soliciting herself to this man. ‘She can’t be serious!’ His mind screamed in disbelief.

It was almost like she was telepathic because, during his mental breakdown, the girl shot him a seductive glance. A glance that he was all too familiar with after stumbling upon one of his mentors' nude magazines. A small trickle of blood slowly began to trek from his nostril down his upper lip. He was complete abysmal of this as his mind went haywire at what he was witnessing. She cared not that he’d heard her tell the man to kiss her, nor did it seem that the thief cared that Suutei was even still there. ‘This is absolutely unbelievable!’ He thought to himself watching the two of them engage in a lust filled smooching session. He had this strange feeling this woman was intentionally trying to make the young man uncomfortable.

Only a minute had passed yet it felt as if they were going at it for hours, and the woman made sure he saw every bit of it. The dribble of saliva that dripped from her lips in between her bosom. The bulge that had now began to form in the thief’s pants, and what he believed was now the beginning of a new relationship. ‘Konohagakure really has changed over the last few years.’ He considered shortly before the kissing ceased. Yet, this woman had no means to stop at just that, as she confirmed his earlier suspicions that she was, in fact, soliciting herself in order to acquire this gem. The young man had never witnessed such tactics ever in his life before, nor had he anticipated anyone would dare use them.

It seemed a deal had been made as the thief handed over the gem, seemingly without even a second thought. Who would have thought a woman was powerful enough to sway a man, just by willingly to subjecting herself to his sexual desires. ‘Who’d a thought huh?’ He pondered, watching the woman rock her hips as she pranced back to his side. The woman nudging him to go and finish the job, but he hoped that she wasn’t suggesting that he use her tactics. “Ahem. Right. Er … You … Eh … Forget it,” the young man said fumbling his words around after wiping the blood trail away. He turned his focus back on the thief who was attempting a last-ditch effort at escape and desperately clung to the wall as he began to scramble up the stone wall.

His brow furrowed watching the man attempt to escape, he let out an exasperated sigh as he moseyed over nonchalant like. The next thing that transpired to the untrained eye would shock them for sure, but to people of Suuteis’ particular skillset, it was the norm. By the time Suutei arrived at the wall, the thief had nearly reached the roof of the building. By this time nobody realized Suutei was actually toying with the thief, similar to the Kunoichi except a lot less sexually enticing. He stressed the muscles in his legs in order to leap high into the air, a leg length above the thief who hadn’t even noticed his presence yet. He performed a swift hammer kick to the thief's face, holding back a tad as to not break anything.

In that same motion, he dropped down right below where he expected the thief to fall. Catching the unconscious soul before he went splat on the ground, and then hoisted him over his shoulder while restraining his hands and feet with chakra string. Casually he returned to his partner as if the events that transpired had not occurred, with the thief now in his custody they were able to apprehend him effortlessly. “I should have figured he wouldn’t put up much of a fight after your little ruse.” He said while aiming his sight downward with lips pursed, finally noticing the subtle height difference between the two. “We should take him to the police station. Let them handle things from here yeah?” He suggested as he turned his head opposite of the wall.

The thief started to groan from resting on his shoulder, indicating he was starting to regain consciousness. He readjusted the thief on his shoulder, forcing his shoulder blade to cause a spasm in the gem ‘collectors’ diaphragm. “You’re coming with me, right? The police station is just a little way, from here and I wouldn’t mind some company on the way.” He said bumping his hip playfully against the girl before making his way to the other end of the alleyway. He wasn’t sure where exactly this new found confidence had come from, he didn’t question it either he simply wanted to get more time with this girl. ‘Yeah, I just want to get to know her. No harm in that right?’ He mulled while making his way to the entrance before he looked back to the girl who he presumed was still standing.

The sun had reached a particular spot in the sky where the rays of the sun angled perfectly. Making Suutei appear more radiant than normal, his deep blue hair shimmered in the rays of the sun. His skin glistened from the rays of the sun mixing with the low levels of melanin in his skin. His eyes for some reason had a strange glint, where the light refracted from his eyes like that of a diamond. Sometimes it was a bit much, but this particular moment it was just right. While he wasn’t entirely sure if the woman was attracted to him, he hadn’t even given it a thought as he deemed that unimportant at the time. He also wasn’t trying to impress her with his looks, he figured she’d maybe openly inform him of this. “So, you coming or what?” He asked hiding his hopefulness.

Hina didn’t know what she was expecting Suutei to do. She had single handedly retrieved the stolen goods so in her opinion this whole situation had been solved. If she had been alone then she would have just run back to the shop owner and returned the stolen item. She wasn’t exactly someone who liked to lock people up, especially if it was so early in the day. Locking people up was a good way to get really sweaty, dirty, and ruin her clothes. She wasn’t a big shot who could buy new clothes without a second thought. She was on a low rung on this ladder that was society and was likely at the same level of wealth as the thief. She had no personal grudge against the thief and since it looked like petty theft at worst she was willing to let some things slide. She was a bit too forgiving in this world of special powers though. The thief started to display some level of chakra control and he started climbing up the wall. Hina looked at him as he climbed up and wondered whether or not she even cared to chase after him. She gave it one last thought and shook her head.

Luckily, a much more experienced shinobi was here. Now that Hina had the time to look up over, she got to form a more concrete opinion about him. She knew that he met her requirements as far as looks went. All that was left was to find out whether he could manage to impress her enough to make her want to pursue him. Of course, she wouldn’t be doing any of the pursuing. She would do her best to manipulate the situation so that she was the one to be sought after. She had already planted the seeds of manipulation in Suutei’s mind by showing what she had to offer. There was always the chance that the shinobi next to her had other romantic interests, but that had never stopped Hina from working her magic. Judging by how Suutei was bleeding slightly, she could only assume that her attempt to get him interest had succeeded. Her goal was to put every powerful man in the world under her spell and her ambition would likely be the death of her, in the end.

Then, Suutei jumped into action and Hina was sufficiently impressed. Hina was nowhere near capable of moving so fast and she didn’t think she knew many other people at her level that could do so either. A very well placed kick and the thief fell to the ground with a rather satisfying splat sound. Suutei hadn’t done anything all too fancy, so Hina wouldn’t be falling head over heels, but she could see that he had potential. He was definitely worth keeping “near” her back pocket for when he grew a bit older. The playful bump against Hina’s hips made her laugh genuinely.

“Sure, I’ll tag along,” she said as she brushed her hand across Suutei’s back. What might have been mistaken for a congratulatory pat on the back was actually a way for her to feel what he had to offer. She was careful not to overdo it, not wanting to break some age difference taboo on accident. She knew that the man was younger than her and she would have to save a certain set of techniques for later.

“So what’s your name?” she asked, “have you been a shinobi for long? What kind of stuff do you do for fun?” Hina would walk beside Suutei and let him do the heavy lifting. She wasn’t built for hauling criminals around anyways. She figured they would escort the prisoner to jail and then she would make her leave. Giving a man just a taste was key to make them want more. “My name’s Hina by the way,” she couldn’t believe she had forgotten to mention that.

“Cool. The station is this way believe it or not.” He announced pointing in the direction that he traveled from. He felt a tingle down his spine from her grazing his back with her hand. He didn’t flinch however because it didn’t bother him, but it did tickle just a bit it was hard to tell how old she really was. He guessed that she was older not entirely sure why, but he just felt like there was this forbidden seal on his body. Preventing her from doing what she pleased with him. His face flushed red a bit from the thoughts of all the naughty things he wanted her to do. “Ahem! Right, I’m Suutei.” He replied to her question as they passed the destroyed runaway wagon from earlier.

He studied the mixed pile of rubble and planks that littered the storefront. ‘What a mess, I feel bad for the store owner.’ He reflected. “Too bad I couldn’t stop the cart before it ruined this shop. I guess that’s what insurance for then I guess.” He said sarcastically as they continued onward towards his favorite grocery store, “I’ve been a Shinobi for a long time it seems. Four years roughly I enrolled myself into the Ninja Academy, and even got accepted into their gifted accelerated program. At the time however my parents had me enrolled into the Prep Academy. So, it was a bit of a challenge juggling Civilian school, and the Ninja Academy.” He said reflecting on all the hardships he’d gone through, not mentioning he nearly flunked out of both.

They would continue their leisure stroll together, while getting the occasional side eye. It wasn’t everyday people would see a man carrying an unconscious body over his shoulder. Not to mention the one carrying the body being in a happy mood. Some would say it was a psychotic, but this was nothing to Suutei. He’d done it for quite a while during his tenure in Iwagakure. “What do I like to do for fun? Hmph. Well it really depends on my mood for the day. Recently I’ve taken up cooking I’m actually pretty good at it. I’m really into photography too, it’s been a hobby I’ve had for years in fact.” He rambled on some more entertaining the woman who he was starting to warm up to quicker than he expected.

“Hina. Okay I’ll remember that, it’s nice to meet you.” He said while flashing her the goofiest grin. They weren’t that far from the station by now. “So, I guess it’s my turn to ask the questions now huh?” He prodded, poking fun at the topic of getting to know one another. He felt like one of those kids on one of those sticoms on TV living as an adolescent. “So? Your name is Hina, but what do you do outside of shinobi work? You seem like a girl who... eh... gets around. Ahem, someone who gets out from time to time.” He fumbled yet again with his words, no matter how cool he may have been on the outside.

The two of them were approaching the outside of the grocery store, and the seal he placed still “I’m sorry, I think I might be coming on a bit strong hehe.” He chucked nervously as he refitted his shoulder blade into the thief's sternum. “Do you mind doing me a favor? It’s nothing weird or crazy I promise.” He pleaded as he walked towards the entrance of the shop. He placed his foot over black markings on the ground, and sent a burst of chakra from his foot to the ground. In a short instant a medium sized brown paper bag would shoot into the air to about eye level of Suutei. He stuck his hand out hugging the bag to his body, “Do you mind taking this bag for me?” He asked the woman urging her to please take the bag.

In hopes that she would oblige his request, he'd make her a proposition that he doubted she would refuse. "If you want since I sort of owe you now, how about you let me take you out on a date. That sound cool, or how about you come by my place and I make you dinner? Well what do you say Hi. Na. Chan." He teased her with honorifics as the station slowly came into view. 'It's a lot easier to be myself around women than I thought, hmph. Maybe if I tried this the first time with Misao-chan things would work out.' He reflected on the first and only girl he ever was interested in. The thief was starting to regain consciousness again, but this time he didn't attempt to knock him out.

Hina listened intently to the man who had helped her round up this guy who was up to no good. She had asked him some questions about his life and now she had to listen and judge him based on his responses. He had studied as both a scholar and a fighter which meant that he probably had exposure to both worlds. That implied that he would be a good catch if he ever got injured and had to fall back on a regular job. It also meant that he probably wasn’t stellar at either school since his time and focus had to be split. There was always the possibility that he was a genius though but that would have to be something for Hina to figure out on her own.

Hina also learned that his hobbies were cooking and artistic in nature. That meant that he was good at following directions and was creative as well. The more Hina listened to him the more interested she got. She was glad she didn’t ask too many questions or else she might have gotten overwhelmed with her intrigue. It was his misstep with his words that snapped her back to reality. He asked what she did in her free time and made a comment about her getting around and then corrected it to something more appropriate. It served to remind Hina about what she was all about. Still, Hina felt obliged to answer so she did. “I help people, do favors for them. Some of the favors a little more… intense than others.” She emphasized her words with a seductive look which lasted for only a moment before she turned her gaze back in front of her. She wasn’t ashamed of what she did in her free time, especially when her ambitions were set so high.

Their trip was abruptly interrupted by a stop by the grocery store. Hina was wondering what he could possibly want to do at a grocery store when he was still carrying around the guy he’d subdued. The clerk must have felt perturbed to make a sale to someone. Hina agreed to wait outside and was asked to hold a bag that the man returned with. She took it with a shrug and wondered what it could be. The bag seemed to be a distraction though. While she was busy wondering what could possibly be in the bag she was asked out on a date. It was refreshing to get asked out instead of being offered a sum of money. She typically operated on a system that required her to meet up with a man on multiple occasions to build up to the ask. However this guy had steeled his nerves and asked her with little hesitation, or so Hina thought. The display of confidence was attractive and Hina said in her very practiced tone, “I thought you’d never ask!”

Hina saw the man draped across the other man’s shoulders start to wake up. She smacked him on the head so that he would pass out again and they could continue their conversation. Hina pulled out a piece of paper where she recorded her many “appointments” for the week. It had various reservations marked off for some evenings but she drew a big red X through a whole block of time. She had planned on going out with someone else who had thrown himself at her and offered her whatever she wanted. He had little to offer though and she had only agreed for the free meal. She hoped this replacement date would be more worth her while.

“How’s next weekend sound?” Hina would be trusting him to give her the time of her life, plus it would give her a little bit of time to go digging into how old he was. There were many questions she had that she wouldn’t ask him. That was where being part of the law force was useful. It was pretty easy to dig into the lives of people in the same line of work. She was sure she would be dug into as well. She wasn’t a one man kind of girl, at least not yet. It’d take a hell of a guy to convince her it was better to commit than it was to “get around.”

Suutei was curious to what extent did Hina’s help extend to these people, especially those whom required more physical assistance. Surely, she had her reasoning but he wouldn’t judge her for her lifestyle. As long as she was happy with the way she lived her life, what difference did it make how he felt about it. That aside he was hoping she had more questions for him, it was nice to have someone actually take an interest in you. Although, not all exposure was necessarily good exposure he learned this from his time in Iwagakure. When his notoriety as Captain of the Monoliths spreading to his cousins' ears. “Well what you like is what you like, no shame in that you know.” He replied with no interest in probing for more explanation.

He didn’t anticipate her to be as excited about his proposal for a night out with him. In fact, he somewhat expected the opposite, he usually strikes out more often than not with women. His love life was a weird case he had many female friends, most of them even confessed their attraction to him. Yet they all mutually agreed that they would never date him, but it didn’t faze him in the slightest. His usual approach of biding his time with a woman, but this would usually result in him be put in the horrid ‘friend zone’. Now things were finally taking a change of pace with his bolder approach to speaking to women. ‘Wow what the hell have I been doing my whole life.’ He thought to himself.

When Suutei decided to ignore the Thief who was regaining consciousness, Hina had other intentions as he felt the shock of her fist collide with the unfortunate man’s skull. ‘Yikes, she’s tougher than I was giving her credit for.’ He thought to himself as he was taken by surprise of her strength. As they approached the station, he caught a glimpse of a slip of paper she had that had a lot of writing. It looked to be a schedule of some sorts, when in fact it really was a schedule with lots of filled time slots. “You’re a pretty busy bee,” he said in an attempt at being cutesy. “You’re not blowing those people off just for me, are you?” He grinned knowing good and damn well that’s what she’d just done.

“Haha so I’ll take that as a yes, but sure next weekend sounds good to me.” He replied the two of them now standing before the police station. He stood over this woman, looking deep into her eyes, and became mesmerized by their beauty. ‘Maybe I’m not as bad looking as I thought, should start giving myself more credit hehe.’ He let out a random chuckle from the thought, after breaking the trance her eyes placed him in. “I’m going to take this guy inside, wait here for me will ya?” He asked the woman, but wouldn’t wait for a reply as he turned the man over to an officer. “Appreciate the assist Suutei, you know we’ve been tracking this guy down, he’s been wanted for a series of other robberies. Take it easy kid.” An officer that was familiar with Suutei spoke to him, and sent him off as the young man exited the station.

“Well now, where were we? Oh, right, next weekend sounds perfect for me.” He reassured the woman, relinquishing the brown paper bag from her custody. “Here’s my address. Feel free to come by any time even if it’s just to chitchat, I’m usually home most of the time.” He informed the woman, handing her a slip of paper with his address. It was getting pretty late as the sun was now beginning to set, and while he didn’t want to leave, he also didn’t want to occupy too much of her time. “It was nice meeting you, and getting to know you Hina-chan. I’m looking forward to our date next weekend for sure, but don’t forget about me okay.” He said while shooting her a wink before walking off in the opposite direction.

The two shinobi went all the way to the office and turned in the prisoner. She didn’t have much more to say to Suutei and chose to think about what she was going to wear as opposed to more questions for him. “Sounds good,” she said to Suutei after he stumbled through pleasantry goodbyes and headed off back home. Afterwards she hurried back home and got back to some chores she had been tasked with. A sensation of defeat flushed over her as she felt the chores her parents assigned her were too much. She was helping to create a garden as well as set up a rock circle for a fire. She had labored away all week at this thing but she wasn’t done yet. Not yet ready to admit defeat, she continued to dig the hole in the pit until it was about a foot in the ground and one meter in diameter. With each portion of dirt removed from the pit, her body screamed in pain. Her arms began to feel like jello as she felt she was losing control over the shovel. After a couple of minutes of digging away, she finally completed her task by clearing out the pit.

Tossing the shovel to the side she returned to the stones one again and painstakingly pushed the stones back into place. Now her back was aching in pain from the task as each stone felt like it was getting heavier and heavier. At once point,t she stopped pushing the stones and began trying to bargain with them to move. However, her pleas feel on deaf ears as they were stones and not living people who you could bargain with. She eventually caved in and returned to using brute force to move the stones back into place. It took her a couple of minutes to complete this task and when she was done, she was delight satisfied with he results. The final task was tossing the wood into the pit for later that night. She quickly skipped out the center of the pit towards the firewood and with a joyful smile began tossing the wood in one by one.

With everything now in place for tonight, Hina went over to a healthy patch of grass to catch her breath. She wanted to make a end of day trip to a waterfall to really close this day out. Her body trembled in minor quakes as she felt pain rushing over every fiber of her body. There was no lying to herself now, she was desperately out of shape. She rested for only a few minutes, before bouncing back to her feet. The young woman took a few minutes to stretch her body out to shake away the aches and pain. Taking a moment to glance around the old estate for her next task. Her gaze eventually fell on the sputtering waterfall that had been clogged by forest debris. ”If I can get that flowing again, it would make an amazing shower. ”The idea fermented for a moment before taking root in her mind. With a simple nod, she sold herself the idea to fix the small waterfall. She headed towards the base of the cliff removing her boots and socks to make the climb up. Once at the base of the cliff, she stared up towards the fall planning out her path of travel.

Let out a deep sigh, she began climbing up the slippery slope towards the waterfall. The surface of the Cliffside was much smoother than she had anticipated, this was due to the rushing water from the falls. Carefully she position herself on the Cliffside pulling herself upwards towards the edge of the waterfall. Her muscles screamed in pain as they were set ablaze from the workout. She wasn’t use to using her upper body strength in such a way. However, the discomfort was bearable for now as she worked her way up the side of the cliff. While hoisting herself up the Cliffside one of the stones she had latched onto gave away from her weight, causing her to lose her footing and slip off the cliff and crash into the lake below. Her body impacted the water with such force it caused the air to quickly escape her lungs. She drifted downwards into the lake a bit dazed from the incident. When she finally managed to come to her senses, she quickly swam towards the surface hungry for air. When she resurfaced she finally called it quits and went back home.

Suutei made a sharp left at an intersection down a fairly empty street, he'd traveled roughly about four blocks down from where he left Hina. He began to reflect on the short time he had with the woman. 'Man she's really great. Hopefully this goes a lot better than that fling I had with Misao.' He blushed as he trekked home, gripping the bag tightly until he reached the front door. "That was smooth Casanova." He felt every syllable creep over his ear, slide down his neck, and tingle his spine forcing him to yelp out of fear. "God damn it Juunto-sensei! Quit following me!" He shouted, the young man and his mentor bickered, as they disappeared into the small two story home as the sun began to set over their home.
