’I need to become stronger, if I am ever to have a chance in the tournament’, Binsu thought to himself. He was only a genin, and from what he had heard from Nudeln, there will be people of all different ranks there. There will be lots of genin, chuunin, special jounins, jounins and maybe even sannins. He couldn’t imagine himself ever taking on a person that was of higher rank than him, but if he were to have any chances at that feat, he’d need to get stronger whilst still young. Well, he wasn’t that young for his age, but the concept was the same. At the moment, he’d most likely go one on one with another genin and neither would win the fight: Binsu wasn’t too proud about this. He wanted to at least make it past the first round and not be called a loser by his friends, though he didn’t have many friends to compete with. Binsu woke up earlier than usual that day and made his way over to the Akako Dojo, there he was going to practise his Kenjutsu in peace. He had his katana, Hakujona, with him, sheathed by his right side hip. He quickly walked on over to the dojo, stopping at the entrance to remove his shoes, when he had arrived.

The dojo apparently belonged to a clan called the Akako clan. Binsu loved learning about history: it just fascinated him to learn how things were back in the past. After taking off his shoes, he bowed respectfully whilst standing at the entrance facing the inside of the dojo, before finally making his way in. He looked around for an empty room: there were a lot of empty rooms, but he wanted one that was far away from any of the other people in the dojo. Luckily, he found one that satisfied his desires. It was large enough to practice in, yet far away from the other occupied rooms. Binsu decided to take his shirt off, during the training: the fewer clothes he had, the more flexibility he could add into his kenjutsu.

Nulden came running in from nowhere straight into the dojo. He had great respect for his place and even more curiosity for what Binsu was doing, the curiosity won out by far so Nulden didn't stop for things like bowing or respectful pauses. He came charging in and then stopped as he got behind the shirtless Binsu. He paused then just long enough for Binsu to be aware that somebody had ran up to him before uttering a single word, his face leaving anybody who saw him with the impression that his mind was totally devoid of thought. "Hi." After making that statement Nulden ran to the other side of the dojo and extended his hand. The air thinned a little as some of it solidified and took color in Nulden's hand.

Nulden's breath began to shake and quiver with sounds of madness and he extended his right arm. Now in his hand there was a four foot long candy cane. He held it by the curved edge and the point looked as though somebody had just put it in their mouth and spun it around a few times. While extremely delicate in comparission, Nulden's blade was just as sharp as the tempered steal of a real sword. Nulden spread his legs and pointed the tip directly at Binsu. After a ten minute fit of shrill laughter, he glanced up at Binsu, with eyes just as piercing as Binsu's weapons, and asked in a sickeningly polite voice, "How would you like for me to help you prepare for the tournament?"

'What the hell is going on?', Binsu thought to himself, as he heard the treading of foot steps, becoming louder and louder by the second, suggesting that some one or something was getting closer and closer towards him. He quickly placed his right hand on the hilt of his katana, which at the moment, was hanging by his right side hip. He was prepared to draw it out, but he wouldn't: not until he knew who or what was making that noise.

Within a few seconds, the noise stopped when it was almost loud enough to be considered in the same room as Shibirin. A young boy then burst through the door and helt a candy-like sword towards Binsu's head. 'Is he serious?' he thought to himself, as he jerked his head backwards to avoid colliding with the seemingly sharp weapon. Binsu didn't lower his gaurd, but instead he increased it when the guy had asked him if he needed help preparing for the Tournament. True, the whole reason of him coming here was to train his Kenjutsu in time for the shinobi tournament, though he did have to admit, training with another person seemed more interesting than training alone. "Sure," Binsu said, as he waited for the guy's response to see what daring challenge he had to offer Binsu.

Nulden leaped up and swung the candy cane so that it was coming at Binsu from the side. He swing with his right arm, and he got his left hand behind the curve and pushed forward to improve the power of the swing as he pushed the point towards Binsu. The point soared rapidly towards the opponent's right shoulder. He purposely lets his body swing hard to the right with the butt of the home made weapon. He moved the whole thing into his left hand and then quickly moved his right hand into the bag around his waist to get the spike that was never put into Hayato.

"Merry Christmas!"Nulden yelled as he pushed harder towards Binsu with the candy cane and then pulled out and tossed the spike of rock candy at Binsu's right leg.The candy was a yellow in color. It was naturally lemon flavored. It was about four inches in length and about a half inch in width. It was shaped like a spike to allow the blade to go in the whole four inches. The citric acid would burn in the blood of any enemy. While it wasn't going to burn the blood of the intended enemy, all was still good. The spike spun as it moved through the air to avoid being damaged by another weapon.

An attack already, and no one had rang any bells to begin the fight, guess he was dealling with an unpredictable ninja. This was his first match ever, as a shinobi fighting against another Shinobi, but he still had a few tricks up his sleeves. What the other guy didn't know, was that Kenjutsu was one of Binsu's main areas: unless the other guy knows any kenjutsu moves up his sleeves, he has no chance of winning against Binsu with that weak, candy-like weapon of his.

Instead of quietly plotting his next move in his head, Binsu was forced to make a crucial dessision on how to avoid getting badly injured from the guy's swinging candy-like sword and the yellow spike that was now aimed towards his right foot. Rather than drawing out his sword and using it to counter the other guy's candy-sword look-a-like, he simply dropped his head low and crouched down a bit, made a 260 degree spin to his right side in a clock-wise direction adn thus leaving him standing at about 2m away from his previous position: far enough to just avoid the spike to the leg. Him dropping his head low and crouching a bit was to avoid taking a candy sword to the shoulders or head.

Binsu's tactic at the moment, was simple: make small moves in preparation for the final big move. He had a special surprise installed for his opponent, but he wasn't prepared to give it up just yet. Besides, he couldn't try any major attacks on the guy until he had him in the right position that would render him unable to dodge or avoid the attack, but for now he would let the guy lead this dance of ametures.

Nulden jumped up again as soon as his enemy dodged his attack. He did a half front flip in mid air as soon as he was above Binsu and then pushed down with the candy cane. The point struck down directly at the center of Bisnu's back. Nulden held on to the weapon tight with both hands and held himself side ways. He did it so that his legs were folded and his toes were pointing in the direction of Binsu's feet. He then distributed his weight in the direction of the spike's landing so that he could retrieve it if he were to be tragically knocked form the weapon he was so enjoying to perch on. This guy was obviously planning something and we couldn't allow that something to happen. Nulden started laughing again. "Above you! Look up!"

This guy was starting to get on Binsu's nerves, in a competitive way. Not only could he not seem to get the guy to stay still, but he instead on fightning Binsu frrom behind him. Binsu didn't have many blind spots, but at the same time he hated fighting opponents who were either behind him, under him and above him: it just put a major stop button on his kenjutsu range.

Aside with kenjutsu, Binsu mainly speciallized in Ninjutsu, a field he knew well. He was really, at this point of the battle at least, spoiled for choice on what jutsu to use on the guy. He wasn't focused in dodging the guy's moves anymore; it didn't make him any stonger and he doubted people would want to see a fight filled with genin just avoiding each other's techniques. No, Binsu had now had enough of dodging, it was time to do the dishing for once. Now quickly drawing his katana, he smoothly made a 180 degree turn, leaving him facing the air-born genin that was coming towards him liek a motion-less bullet at an angle.

He showed but a smirk, as he swung his sword swiftly from his right to his left, in one fluid motion. If somehow the guy didn't managed to stop half way though his attack in mid air, chances are his arms (holding the spike) will be cut horizontally, leaving a 1.5cm cut along the fingers of the hand he used to hold the top or side part of the spike. Fearing the counter could not've been enough to stop the guy's attack, Binsu performed a comando roll to the left, quickly springing to his feet once that attack had landed.

As soon as Nulden saw him reach for his sword he balanced his belly onto the curve of the candy cane and then quickly jumped back to the entrance of the dojo as he landed. he took the curved half of the candy cane with him, as he had used a majority of hit to save his hands from the swipe of the beautiful steel blade he was up against. As soon as he landed he threw the candy cane and formed a hand sign, grinning like a mad man. Nulden was not a kenjutsu user and it was high time to stop pretending that he was one. Air condensed and took shape right inside of Nulden's hands. He tossed the mushroom product of the jutsu against the wall nearest Binsu. As both of the food items neared Binsu at about the same time he formed another hand sign and yelled at the top of his lungs."It's gonna go boom!" At that moment the mushroom detonated right behind Binsu's shoulder blades. The skin of the mushroom grew hard and sharp as it flew in multiple pieces at Binsu. Simultaneously a cloud of mustard was rising up to Binsu's face from behind. All at the same time the Candy cane half was flying at Binsu's face.

The user condenses water inside the mushroom, then rapidly heats it to make lots of steam expand rapidly. The mushroom explodes in a hot, sticky mess of....creamy filling that causes second-degree burns. The crusty outer mushroom breaks apart and is made to be as shrapnel by chakra, piercing up to an inch into skin. In addition, the large amounts of mustard in the filling are released in a cloud upon explosion; this isn't exactly obscuring in itself, but makes those who get it in their eyes have severely impaired vision.

'That little brat!' thought Binsu, as he had realised too late that he had basically set himself up for this. The guy was literally, an unpredictable genius. Binsu never would've expected such an amazing trap, at the start of the battle. It was almost too good to believe that a genin that young could come up with such a devious plot, but Binsu wasn't throwing down the towel just as of yet. He had a few tricks up his sleeve, and he was sure they'd be more than a surprise to the latter.

As if a huge gush of wind just swept in and rapidly pushed Binsu away from where he was standing, when the smoke that had been given off by the mushroom-like jutsu cleared, he had disapeared from his spot, but to where? If one looked hard enough, they'd see him crouching down on the spot where he had dropped his shirt, about 14m away from the mushroom explosion. He'd look up towards his opponent, once he had been spotted and say, "Oh, were we actually fighting?" with a quirky smirk on his face as to taunt the guy.

Description: This jutsu is actually very simple, as it is little more then chakra to create a small 'cushion' of air beneath the user's feet. The cushion itself is very thin, as at this rank the user must still maintain some contact with whatever surface they stand upon; without the contact the user will stumble and fall before they are ever able to get moving. The jutsu itself does little more then reduce the friction between the user and the solid surface enough to allow a noticeable increase in speed; not to exceed 1.25% normal sprinting speed, and for no more then a few seconds at a time.

Nulden smiled as he began walking away. He sighed as he felt obligated to answer Binsu's rhetorical question. "I was sparring, and I was helping you train for the tournament. The fact that a few very basic ninjutsu was enough enough to totally keep you from touching me should tell you that this training session should not be light. I doubt that I'll even be the strongest one there, or even be stronger than you. Now I have to go. It's time to break some rules. Nulden crouched down and then ejected himself from the dojo. Giggles could be heard as Nulden started to go back into his foolish and innocent acting state outside of battle.

The guy was leaving so soon? Binsu hadn't even used his kenjutsu yet, and he had only used one jutsu against the guy the whole time. 'hmm, so he thinks he's ready, ey?' Binsu thought to himself. He watched the guy leave, not sure why the sudden choice. He suspected that the guy had other things to do besides train with Binsu. Maybe he wanted to pack for the trip to Iwa, or maybe he had friends or family to visit before leaving. Whatever the reason was, Binsu wasn't going to stop training for it. He smiled at the guy and bid him farewell, before picking up his shirt, which was just in front of his feet, and wrapping it around his waist.

He had his sword, Hakujona, still drawn out. He grabbed the handle with both hands and began to make basic swings in the air. He'd perform a left sharp swing, then a right, then one vertically going down from the top left corner and down to the bottom right corner. He'd then perform another vertical swing, this time from the top right corner to the bottom left. He repeated this same sequence for about 10 times or so, before he decided to rest for a bit. He looked out the window: it was still sunny and bright outside. He hadn’t been at the dojo for much more than an hour, a sign that he hadn’t trained for long enough. He had only fought with Nudeln for no more than 50 minutes or so, but now he had to train solo, for the rest of the session.”Hmm, ok, time to focus” Binsu thought out loud, before increasing his grip of his katana. He then ran towards one of the walls, in the dojo. He wasn’t running very fast, but in battle, running towards an opponent was used to decrease the distance between the attacker and the target.

When he was in range with the wall, he didn’t stop in fear of running into it, instead he jumped up towards it and kicked off the wall, thus sending him flying back where he came from. He didn’t perform any flips whilst in the air; instead he kept himself up right and allowed gravity to pull him back down to the ground. He landed with a thud, hands still firmly clutching the katana’s handle. He then performed a 360 spin in the clockwise direction, lifting his right leg but a centimetre off the ground and spinning on the balls of his left foot. If performed well, Binsu should accomplish a 360 backwards spin, but it’d push him forwards instead of backwards. When he had stopped spinning and was facing the same direction again, he planted his right foot firmly forward on the ground and released his left hand from the katana’s handle, leaving only his right hand to manoeuvre the sword. He then swung his sword his sword back from his left side to his right in one, quick fluid motion from the bottom left corner up to the top right corner of his view, thus performing an upwards, vertical slash that if ever performed against an opponent, would cause a 30cm, 2 inch deep cut vertically up from the target’s bottom right hip to his/her left shoulder. Precision and timing was crucial to this move, for if he had spun a moment too quick or a moment to slow, he would’ve ended up facing away from the victim and if he had released the grip too early, the sword would’ve went flying right out of his hand. Binsu didn’t stop the move there, but continued into another set of swings.

In case the hit missed the target, or the target had moved back away from the sword’s range, Binsu needed some sort of travelling kenjutsu motion to eliminate the remaining distance he had from the target, so he performed a kenjutsu move he had earlier learnt from the academy books. The move was called: Absolute Inscription. He made two steps forward, slashing once to the left in front of him and once to the right, then made another two steps forward, making one slash vertically down to the left side of the opponent then another up vertically back up to the right side of the opponent. He then made one final swing horizontally across to his left, straight across the middle part of the imaginary target, before finishing off the sequence with a move known as, ‘Ha: edge of a sword’, by lunging at the imaginary opponent in front of him and stabbing him directly through the middle part of his stomach, at an angle. If used on a real target, the last, centre jab at the opponent would not be seen, as it blinds the user temporarily for that one sword slice or jab. Binsu then held his last position, only now noticing he had finished his sword dance with a lunge at the opponent’s stomach. He then pulled himself up and sheathed his sword, before he un-wrapped the shirt around his waist, putting it on and heading back home.
