Strafe was extremely excited to reach Kiri again. Iwa was nice to visit, but it just wasn't the same as his village. He needed to see his mother and friends as well, as it was kinda lonely in Iwa for a Kiri ninja like him. Plus, he had something pretty exciting to look forward too! He was finally on a squad! He had been hoping that the rebuilding of Kirigakure wouldn't stop him from being on a squad, and he was right!

Strafe met at the place he sent Shibi the message about. It was just a little fork in the road, but it was distinguishable enough for him to find. All he had to do now was to wait on Shibirin. Though, he was kinda disappointed about not getting to go participate in the tournament. However, he had a duty to do and could not falter on selfish desires. He would find plenty of chances for battle.

He decided to go ahead and have lunch as well, pulling out his carry-out plate from one of the places in Iwa. While Iwa wasn't much to look at, the food was awesome! He started eating, taking time to look around for Shibi. He always did this. Coming to a meeting to early and ending up waiting forever. That was just the perfectionist in him though.

This rock candy tasted amazing. The village hidden in the rock was known to make the best rock candy a ninja could find on the shinobi world map. Shibirin, though he had been in the village for quite some time now, had never bothered to buy some of this candy to see if the rumors were true, until now at least. Shibirin now maade his way towards the Iwagakure village gates. This had been the first time he had ever been late when travelling somewhere else. It was his alarm clock: it had forgoten to wake him up, or had he forgot to set it in the first place? Shibirin knew how long it took to get to Kirigakure, but specifically how hungry he got along the way, so whilst making his way through the village streets, he stopped by at some shops and picked up a few things to eat. He hadn't a bag on him, at the time, so he had to carry all the stuff he had bought in his arms.

A few minutes went by, before Shibirin reached the vilage gates. He couldn't believe it, but he had eaten almost all the food he had brought for the trip. He only had a lemon cake left, which he was planning on eating as soon as he and Strafe started walking towards the village. Shibirin walked away from the village gates, until he reached the village borde, there he saw Strafe Aisu waiting for him. "Sorry i kept you waiting," he said to the guy, now walking past him and away from the border, hoping he'd follow him.

Strafe smiled as he heard someone approaching. He turned to see his friend Shibirin. Once again, the two were going on a journey together. It was always a blast when he traveled with Shibi. He was kind and full of conversation, or at least Strafe was. "No problem!" Strafe said finishing the last bite of his lunch. He gathered his belongings and stood up, brushing his clothes off as he did so. He didn't want to look terrible when he got back to the village.

The journey to Kirigakure took three days last time, so at least he knew how long it would be. He just hoped he didn't get annoying with all the excitement he had built up inside him. Maybe he should stop being so dramatic about everything. Regardless, he was ready to be back home and meet his squad! Shibirin seemed like patient and calm person though, so Strafe didn't have to worry about that much.

As the trip went on, his thoughts were filled with what his Sensei and fellow Students would be like. What would they think of him? Was he as strong as the other Genin? All these thoughts ran through his head as he swiftly moved alongside Shibirin. He looked over at the man, wanting to thank him one last time before parting ways with him. "Thank you, once again, for traveling with me!" Strafe said with a big smile. He couldn't imagine how boring it would be to travel alone. How do people do it? He was most fortunate to have a strong Shinobi like Shibi beside him. They could fight anything and anyone, or at least Strafe felt that way. There was power in numbers, or at least he had always heard that saying.

The next 3 days were spent in anxiety for Strafe. Besides the casual stop for sleep or food, they pushed forward to Kirigakure. Unlike last time, Strafe talked quite a bit more this time, hoping to find out about Shibirin's past and his family. He wanted plenty of details to tell his friends back home. Maybe they would meet in the future as comrades in battle. That was a future Strafe could be happy with!

The journey to the hidden mist village was long, but at least it wasn't long and dull. Shibirin had the mist genin to talk to, which was strange that he could relate to a young genin more than he could to someone his age or his rank. Shibirin suspected that the reason as to why he didn't have friends in Iwa, was because they saw him as an outcast. He couldn't blame them for that, after all, when a ninja called moussa came to Sunagakure as a defected Iwa nin, Shibirin didn't see him much as a person that can be befriended. Shibirin couldn't blame the hidden rock for his loneliness, he himself was to blame for that. Shibirin and Strafe now seemed to be but a few kilometers from Kirigakure's borders, as Shibirin could faintly see a layer of mist, high above the forest's canopy.

After a few meters more of walking, Shibirin decided to take to the trees, he always found it faster to travel in trees than walking or running on the ground. Now jumping from tree to tree, he'd occasionally look down of Strafe and have a chat or two about his past and what he wants in the future. It was often rare for a defected nin to even think about having a future, as they have to live with the constant fear of one day being hunted by their old villages. Shibirin was somehow lucky, to have survived this far. If it had been someone else, they would've been hunted down and killed the same week they left their villages, but Shibirin had managed to stay alive for at least a month, which was good in the sense that he was alive, but bad that any moment from now on, he could be randomly found and killed on the spot. Sadly, Shibirin couldn't turn to anyone for help. Though Iwagakure had accepted him in as their own, he had no doubts that when the time came for them to choose whether to keep Shibirin in the village or to have war with Sunagakure, they'd willingly hand him over to Sunagakure, like he was an outcast to them. Shibirin couldn't tell Strafe the truth about him, for he feared the guy would see him more as a criminal than another fellow Shinobi he could trust. He would wait for the day the truth came out on its own, rather than tell the kid now.

After reaching the village hidden in the mist, Shibirin heard the kid thank him, so he replied back to him, "It was my pleasure. I hope we do meet again some other time," and then he watched as the kid ran towards his village.
