Konohagakure no Sato

Konohagakure no Sato is the Shinobi village of Hi no Kuni. It is hidden deep within the heart of the mighty oak forests that cover their nation, although the rather flashy nature of the Hokage Monument makes it one of if not the easiest Shinobi villages to locate. It's structures are rather underwhelming compared to the grand stone and clay designs of other villages, as they are simple Japanese style wooden buildings forged by the infamous Senju clan that inhabits this village.

Sunagakure No Sato

Sunagakure no Sato is the Shinobi village of Kaze no Kuni. It is hidden in the endless dunes of it's nation, tucked into a naturally formed stone crater. The colour pallet of this city ensures it is almost impossible to see unless you know what you're looking for, giving it one of the most impressive natural defences of any Shinobi village. It's structures are forged out of clay and limestone bricks, which help regulate the heat of the city as well as allowing even their tallest towers to blend in with the dunes that surround them.

Iwagakure no Sato

Iwagakure no Sato is the shinobi village of Tsuchi no Kuni. It is hidden deep inside the rocky mountain ranges in the eastern lands of it's nation, a strategic location that provides it both an impressively powerful natural defence and a prime location to monitor their borders. It's structures are very castle like in nature, with many spiralling towers of granite and stone crawling out of the mountains, often connected by bridges or tunnels that snake their way through the mountains from which they hang.

Kumogakure no Sato

Kumogakure no Sato is the shinobi village of Kaminari no Kuni. It is hidden among the tallest of the frozen glaciers that litter Kaminari no Kuni's wilderness. This village is so high that it is literally hidden inside the very clouds themselves. It's structures are made out of thick layers of stone, and typically use a multi-layered wall design to try to avoid heat loss as much as possible, as the height of the village tends to make it incredibly cold.

Kirigakure no Sato

Kirigakure no Sato is the shinobi village of Mizu no Kuni. It is not hidden by any form of geography such as mountains, merely by the dense fog that forms naturally in the environment around it. It's structures are surprisingly flashy for a hidden village, with an unusual mixture of large stone and wood spires and grand castles.

Tetsu no Kuni

The iron nation is a neutral land, full of Samurai. It is completely impartial to the shinobi world, an impartiality every shinobi nation respects. It does, however, offer it's services as a mediator for international meetings between the Kage. It's infrastructure is a mix of traditional design and modern architecture, resulting in a beautiful mix of cultural statues and elegant stone high rises.

Kusa no Kuni

The Grass country is a small, war torn nation. It's position between the fire, earth and wind countries has lead to it being the battleground of multiple wars. They have a small shinobi village, Kusagakure, which is famous for sending shinobi to join other villages at a young age.

Yuki no Kuni

The Snow country was initially a foreign land, oceans away from the five great nations. However, after the whirlpool country fell, shinobi from the land of snow, that was at the time being controlled by a tyrant, migrated over and formed a new Yukigakure on Uzushio's ruins. This frozen tundra forges hardy shinobi, with wits as frosty as the snow around them.
